*Update* I went to Avon’s branch and they solved the issue in 20 mins. I Do not recommend you to go to this branch. I'd like to share my terrible experience with Safelite. I had my rear vent window replaced. After the replacement, I noticed that the panel wasn’t assembled correctly, though I initially didn't think it was a big deal. However, while driving, I realized there was a significant air leak. I returned to the store, and they checked the rubber surrounding the door but didn't inspect the window, where the air was directly coming from. They reassembled the panel correctly and advised me to make another appointment if the issue persisted. On my second visit, a technician tested the car with me and noticed the leak. However, once again, they only checked the door without examining the window area where the air was coming from. I politely asked the technician ( Fernando) to recheck because the air wasn’t coming from the door but was clearly from the window. Unfortunately, he refused. So, I requested to speak to the manager, who replied, “I don’t have time to check it, and I trust my technician.” He also declined to schedule another appointment."

We decided to go with Safelite since they’re popular and have generally high reviews. We called customer service to schedule an appointment and got a slot for 2 days later. We chose to go to one of their physical locations instead of having onsite service, which was about a 30-minute drive. But when we were just a minute or 2 away from the location, they called to say the replacement window had a crack and they’d need to order a new one, so they couldn’t do it that day. They told us they’d call back with an update in 2-3 hours, but we didn’t hear from them for more than 24 hours. The next day, they finally called, but still hadn’t ordered the new window. They asked if we wanted to proceed, but since nothing had been done yet, we decided not to continue with Safelite because they weren’t taking responsibility or addressing our concerns promptly. We then went with WindshieldHub instead and the experience was completely different. They made the process smooth and replaced the window the very next day.ServicesAuto side window replacement

This is an example of corporate malfeasance, manipulation, And obfuscation, of facts between two corporations, Westfield and Safelite. First off you can't call a local office. Everything rolls over to the call centers. You can't find out what their stock is you can't find out what the schedule is. You can't do anything but show up when they tell you. Which is what I did, and after an hour waiting there, they told me they didn't have the part in stock. Pivot back to Westfield 800 number and demanded a different company which they did not want to do. They tried running me around saying they couldn't find the number couldn't find the company blah blah blah, which is what they do standardly. Run as far away from this company and corporations as you can. They are not doing any good for you. They are perpetrating a profit center at your expense. Go elsewhere. Because in the end it's going to be a big inconvenience to you as it was to me.

Came in to get a cracked windshield replaced. Had to show my car FOUR TIMES to a technician before it could get fixed. 1 time a technician came to my house, and asked me to bring it to the shop. OK, fair. I brought my car into the shop THREE SEPARATE times (40 min drive ONE WAY) to get my windshield fixed because the Safelight team did not stock the right parts to replace my windshield, and told me they were the only ones that could fix my windshield so I cannot take it to another shop. They kept screwing up, making me come back on 3 occasions, with NO APOLOGY or CONCESSION! Just a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - please STAY AWAY and take your windshield repairs to your local repair shop instead!! Moreover: Satellite then charged me $1600 instead of the estimated $600, AND charged my credit card TWICE! Just about the worst experience I could ever have for a simple windshield repair. Save yourself the headache!

Very happy customer! Richard was my technician and came all the way out to Spencer just to repair my car’s windshield. I work from home and requested that the technician texts me upon arrival. Richard started texting me at 8am that morning letting me know that I would be his first stop in the afternoon and even texted me when he was on his way and when he arrived so that I could make sure my dogs were inside. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and caring. He did a great job on my windshield and was done in less than 10 minutes. 0 expense for me as it’s covered under my insurance and he even explained if anything went wrong, what would happen. I highly recommend. Richard deserves a raise! Thanks Safelite!

Horrible experience! I recieved at least 4 confirmations for my appt and took off work and waited from 8a-12p for my technician to arrive and received no communication. I spoke to the extremely non chalant Gary who told me " ehh. It's not a big deal...it look likes someone called yesterday but maybe they dialed the wrong number" I cannot believe this is acceptable customer service! I did not receive a email nor text regarding rescheduling. I even asked to speak to a manager and was quickly told I can call back on Monday. I hate im forced to use them due to my insurance! Do better Safelite and please listen to your calls as no customer should have to feel this way and be dismissed.

Terrible experience with this company. They do not stand by their product or warranty. Quite dismissive and rude when trying to speak about the issue over the phone. I freely admit that I was not my best self while speaking to whom I assume was a manager, as I was very frustrated over my situation. I would 100% encourage anyone to seek out another company for any replacement glass. Update: Thank you SafeLite for addressing my concerns and taking care of the issue in a professional and timely manner. Nate was fast, efficient and thorough. He patiently explained the process while I was most likely breathing down his neck. Very grateful for the outcome.

I see their commercials on TV all the time. When my back driver’s side window was broken, I decided to call Safelite. I contacted the center in Valley View. The ease of scheduling an appointment was perfect. Straightforward and simple. The availability of a technician was also timely. The day of the appointment, the technician provided a time when he would be there. When he arrived, he wa courteous, friendly, and professional. He installed the glass and provided instructions to follow. It didn’t take a long time to replace the glass. Hopefully I wont have anymore windows damaged but if I do, I will call Safelite! I highly recommend their company.

We utilized Safelite's services today to replace a front passenger window. I appreciate the communication, from the start, in keeping me updated on the process. The tech, Fernando, arrived on time and was extremely nice and professional. As stated, it took about an hour for him to complete the job. In addition to the work completed, Fernando took the initiative to vacuum out our car. Our car was broken into and we still had alot of glass to clean out on the side of the seat that my home vacuum couldn't pick up. I so appreciated this gesture. I would definitely recommend this service/company. Hopefully you will get Fernando!

Drove 45 min there was shortly past the 15 min grace period but was told there was nothing they can do we have to reschedule I was there at 4:18 for my 4 o'clock appointment. And was told my appointment was going to be 1 1/2 hours when I have no passenger window it's just an installation extremely annoyed with the service so now once again the car now sits for 4 more days with a busted window This well be the last time I do any business with them the window is only 130 my cost which I'm sure there cost is cheaper. It's 550ish for this repair I don't see 400 dollars in labor for a passenger window on a small car
