Had another vehicle with a shattered windshield...I called and they scheduled replacement the next day! Rob came out and did a fantastic job! The windshield is perfect! Clean up was great and was done in a timely manner! As soon as it happened (my hood latch broke and it flew up into the windshield while driving) I immediately thought of Defender! Lou did an amazing job on another vehicle just a few months ago! They will ALWAYS be our GO TO! Lou was AMAZING!! so EFFICIENT & THOROUGH...explained everything in detail! The hatchback window replacement looks TERRIFIC and he cleaned every bit of glass up!! (wind caused big branch to go through glass) WOW!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Broke out my rear window of my brand new work truck on a Sunday. Looked for a window install place and Safelite popped up first. EXTREMELY expensive but noone else was even open. Next day I called Defender with intentions of calling a few others. I was quoted $296.83 over the phone. I didnt call anyone else. Put my card on file and schedule the repair. The next day the installer came out. Did a great job and was very thorough. He gives me my bill and it was over $100 more than the quotr the day before. He called someone in the office and explained to them it was OBVIOUS that I had a much less quote the day before but they refused to honor it. I will be calling tomorrow but thats a BAD BUSINESS move in my eyes. You dont raise the price 25% AFTER the work is done. If they give me the difference back I will 100% change my review EDIT: I got a call the next day and was refunded my money. Made me very happy they honored the original quote. I'm very satisfied with the service I received from Defender Auto Glass, from start to finish. My car window was broken out from vandalism. I was angry and frustrated but the lady who called was very pleasant and not pushy, and very professional. I believe her name was Debbie. It took a few days before I did anything because I was mad that I was dealing with this.. She had made an impression on me and as a result I'm happy that I chose them.. The repair guy was right on time. He was super nice, respectful and professional. He worked quickly in the cold and you could tell that he'd done this a million times, he was very efficient and even vacuumed the glass from inside the car. Had an appointment on 9/6/2023 from what I was told was 230pm. Since it was a weekday I would have been at work at the time of the installation so I left my car at home unlocked for the installation and got a rental car so I can make it to work. I get a call from a Luke Bulter stating they have arrived at my place at 1210 pm which is way earlier than the schedule time only problem is that we had some rain come in which was forecasted by up until 1pm which is another reason why I made the appointment after 2pm. I was told if the rain doesn’t stop within the next few minutes that we would have to schedule his appointment. So by 1245 he is gone and by 104pm the rain has completely left the area. So not only am I out $65 for the rental car now I have to figure out other means for the windshield to be replaced. Will take my business elsewhere

A stone got our windshield. Went to these guys straight away to have it repaired so that it wouldn’t spiderweb out. The guy who took care of us was so kind, professional and efficient. He answered all of our questions before we even asked them. He told us that it wouldn’t be 100% gone but it would keep from spreading. Turns out it really did look 100% better. He advised us that the sooner you get it filled the better because it has less time to get water and particles in it and he can get it cleaned out and filled. He was such a nice guy! And the woman on the phone who made our appointment was super nice too. Great people! 100 stars. We are so happy with our windshield and the whole experience. We were in and out quickly too!

Excellent customer service and quick installation of a new my windshield in my driveway. The two technician’s were professional and very efficient in the removal and installation of the windshield. I previously contacted the National windshield company but never got the opportunity to talk to the local manager or representative about scheduling a repair. I did speak to someone, who knows where they were located, but they said go on line and fill out the form to schedule. Defender Auto Glass has a live customer service person ,Debbie K. , answering the phone at the Elyria location. She did an exceptional job scheduling and communicating my installation as i had the leave town on short notice.

Received a quote for new windshield. Was by far the best quote I had received from anywhere. Great, started the process of setting the service up and then hit a most unfortunate risk road block. Even though the price quoted was the lowest, unfortunately it's still hefty and in order to pay it I would need to use a service that pays them in full at time of service and charges me in installments but for some reason even though this company has a fairly well-designed website one of their on-site or mobile agents has to actually caress the payment card. No online payment, no Google pay. Yes, We are back in 2010. Unfortunately it's a deal breaker, but I do appreciate that low quote.

Extremely good communication. Talked to these guys both on the phone and through email after duck shattered my windshield over a holiday weekend. They were able to come much sooner than anyone else and for a great price. I borrowed a car to get to work and before I even hit my lunch hour, it was fixed! Someone did have to be home to sign and the weather needed to be good since I didn’t have an indoor area to park it, so keep that in mind. No hassle, no fuss, just got me back on the road very quickly! 5 stars! After waiting 2months for a claim, I decided to reach out and pay my own. They gave me a quote online and I paid the price they gave me. It took two days for them to respond and a day to get me in. The service only took about an hour. The customer service was excellent I didn’t have to wait. Was offered coffee and water. The guy who did my window was polite and don’t up charge me. I paid what the quote was and not a penny more. Most places charged twice what they charged me. I recommend the service. There has been no leaks in my windows and has been snowing and raining. They also give 90 warranty. Thank you guys and gals

They came in a timely fashion to our home and completed the job. The window does not leak. It does not look flush to the frame as I thought it should. When I brought it to their attention they it wasn’t aesthetically pleasing I was advised “I have showed these pictures to our Supervisor and he has stated that this will not leak as the moulding is underneath and are attached. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Thank you and have a great day!” Then nothing further. So happy to say so far no leaks - just not pretty on the edges.
