I took a rock to my windshield and the crack was close to the maximum size that can be repaired. Jesse was nice enough to take a look at it so I would know if I needed to schedule a chip repair or a windshield replacement. I was lucky and it can be repaired, they got me in the next day, and the repair looks great! As with all glass repairs the cracks don't completely disappear but the integrity of the windshield has been restored and the cracks shouldn't expand. If the repair fails they will credit the cost of the repair to my new windshield. They also cleaned all my windows and vacuumed my floor mats. They were friendly and helpful, and took time to make sure I understood the process.

Due to all of the road construction in town, I’ve had a few small chips hit my windshield over the last several weeks. I opted for a replacement because of the number and location of the chips on my windshield. I made an online appointment through my insurance company (the only easy part of the process). I called to confirm that there was a drop box for keys and it took a half an hour for a call center representative to say that “there should be one”. Getting a local person on the phone is nearly impossible. I dropped my vehicle off the night before my appointment and dropped my key in their unsecured Mail Drop at their shop’s front door. The next morning, I get a message from Safelite that my windshield arrived broken and they didn’t check the shipment until it was time to start the job. I’d wasted a day off of work (and so had my ride), but things happen. I went to pick up my vehicle and when I walked in, my key was just sitting on the customer counter, where any of the customers in the lobby could just walk out with it. I picked it up and waited for the employee to come back, so that I could advise him. He proceeded to try to talk me into repairing the chips instead of getting my windshield replaced. I told him that the repairs would still be in my line of sight, so I preferred a new windshield. He reluctantly placed a replacement order for my windshield and scheduled me for the following Saturday. I called late Friday afternoon to confirm, but could only reach the call center. By the time they placed me on hold and transferred me, it was after 5:30pm. They said that my windshield “should” be in, but that if I wanted to ensure it - that I would need to call in the morning. I called at 8:05am and the local rep confirmed that it was in. I advised that I was on my way (I was 20 minutes away, on Minot AFB). A few minutes before I arrived, I got a text stating that my appointment was cancelled. I called back and the same rep that I’d advised that I was on my way at 8:05 said the appointment was cancelled because I wasn’t there at 8:00am sharp. After spending an entire wasted day off, another trip to/from town, and countless hours trying to get a local rep on the phone - I’ll just schedule my windshield replacement with a company out of town.

I recieved excellent service from the start to the finish of the replacement. This is in Minot, ND. I originally had it scheduled for 9/17/21. If I remember correctly, Brad had called me that morning to let me know that the tech was preparing everything before arriving to my place. An hour or so later he called me back informing me that there was a scratch in the window and could not do the replacement that day as they would need to order another. Ok, cool no biggie because I definitely didn't want a scratch in a new window. We set up the date for the following Tuesday. Later that Friday, my friend Tyrel reached out and apologized for the inconvenience as he must have seen my name and service for that day. He then went in depth of explaining how they recieve scratched windows ,etc before they even get the window to the shop and also how to recalibrate the cameras. Tuesday comes and communications sent via text letting me know all the updates and the progress. Lo and behold, Tyrel was the tech this day. I work from home and was in meetings or on the phone so I was unable to come out to say hi or check out the window before he left. Window was intact fully and instructions were left with a brochure. A week later and all is good. Thank you Safelite in Minot, Brad and Tyrel for the exceptional services!PositivePunctuality, Quality, Professionalism, ValueServicesAuto windshield replacement

Brought my vehicle in for a chip repair came out with a 6inch crack. The technician even said the crack was NOT there when he brought the vehicle in. I say “so I come in for a repair and come out needing a replacement?” The technician said he’s not sure how it happened, he’s never seen anything like it. He said he’s not sure if it was from him washing it or what. Manager said it could be from heat, cold and stress. Ya ok I coincidentally come in for a repair and leave with a 6inch crack at a safelite. Customer care won’t do anything. Now I have to pay $1k deductible or $1120 out of pocket for a windshield they broke. I don’t believe for a second that the windshield just cracked without reason. They pointed out a tiny impact point, if anything they were leaning up on the windshield applying way to much pressure and cracked it, or accidentally dropped something on it. Imagine safelite telling you a crack appeared while they were fixing a chip, but aren’t not sure if they did it. But hey we are sorry you have to pay atleast $1,000. SMH. Feel like a Karen, this is my money and vehicle we are talking about tho. I don’t leave reviews, but this I went out of my way for

My windshield had a stone chip. I was traveling across the country, and wanted to get my windshield repaired asap. The technician told me to contact my insurance company to book an appointment. I explained that I didn’t have time to wait - I had to be back to work in two days and I was over 1000 miles from home. I was quoted $180 to have the stone chip repaired. The same repair is only $75 in Canada (which equates to about $55 US). So, I believe that the reason they wanted me to book it through my insurance company was so they could charge my insurance company $180 for a job that’s only $55. Otherwise, I believe they thought they could take this dumb Canuck to the cleaners. Came home and had a local company take care of it for $75 in Canadian funds. Feel free to draw your own conclusions.NegativeValue

I took my truck there to get my windshield repaired because of a recommendation from my insurance company. I am so glad I did. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted with amazing customer service. The waiting area was very nice and clean. I was kind of nervous about the wait time because I had my three kids with me, but the wait turned out to be very pleasant. The manager was very nice, he went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The work was completed very quickly. Not only did they fix my window, they also washed all my windows and vaccumed my truck. The technician was very nice and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and throughly explained everything I needed to know. I would recommend them to anyone and I will be a return customer in the future.

Brad and Branon were freaking awesome. My windshield was perfect I didn’t have to worry about tape or anything they explained everything to me exactly how I needed to take care of it since I was traveling such a long distance back home. They were very personable and punctual. I even had my dog with me and they let her sit in the office with me while I waited on my vehicle. They worked with my schedule when I was trying to figure out when I can make it down since it was such a long drive I highly recommend them for any of your glass needs!!!!!!! With all the social distancing everyone seems to be really distant and borderline rude but not these guys they were extremely kind and incredibly helpful! Thanks guys!PositivePunctuality, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Safelite Auto Glass is my go-to glass repair/replacement shop. I’ve done business with Safelite in Oklahoma and in North Dakota, both providing professional and quick service. They also provide at home services IF you have the ability shelter your vehicle from the outside elements. The only hiccup I’ve experienced was with my wife’s newer vehicle, at the ND location. The technician that confirmed her online appt didn’t research the fact that the replacement windshield had a sensory device attached. We didn’t find this out until the day we delivered the vehicle. The correct windshield had to get ordered and it delayed the replacement by three days. Minor oversight IMO. I’d still recommend them!

Couldn’t be happier with my experience at Safelite in Minot! I was able to quickly and easily schedule the appointment online and received convenient text reminders. We were promptly greeted and helped upon arrival. After the car was repaired, the technician told us the repair was not as extensive as we had thought was needed. He had made the repair, inspected the rest of the windshield, washed all the windows, and vacuumed the front seat area, and ended up charging us nothing. This is clearly a place of integrity that values the customer. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks, Safelite!PositivePunctuality, Quality, Professionalism, ValueServicesAuto windshield repair

I’ve used Safelite before, at other bases that I’ve been stationed at over the years. It’s always been an easy process. They’ve even come and replaced my windshield at my house. The Minot location has been an entirely different experience though. The Safelite locations that I’ve been to before were nice and clean. This place looks like a run down Jiffy Lube. Getting someone on the phone is like pulling teeth and they’ve cancelled our appointment twice. Why wouldn’t they check that they’ve received the correct glass or that it wasn’t damaged before the appointment time?NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism
