Jake's Auto Glass

I needed my Ford F150 windshield replaced so I completed an online claims form and selected Jakes’s because it was the closest to my house. After completing the online claim’s form, the insurance company contacted Jakes to inform them a claim was filed, and to setup a time for the window replacement. After 8 days of waiting and no call from Jakes, I called them to see if they got the claim and when can it be done. The sells representative was very rude stating if he gad to call all the people with claims, he would get nothing done. After 5 minutes of him huffing and puffing, he said he doesn’t have a windshield in stock, but would do some more research and get back to us. Two days passed and still no call from Jakes, so we call them again. They informed us that they couldn’t get the F150 windshield, and that I was suppose to call the Ford dealer myself to try and find a windshield. The representative was very negative and unwilling to find a windshield let alone install it if one was found. We immediately called another glass company, and in less than three minutes changed the insurance claim to his company and he had called his supplier while we were on the phone and verify the availability of the new windshield. He told us that they both have the same supplier, and that they gad several in stock and didn’t know why Jakes had such a hard time with it. I know why, because he was very inconsiderate and didn’t even try to check the availability, so sad for Jakes that you have employees like that!!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. I had a new new windshield put in my ford f350 at Jake's, I then had a leak through the windsheild seal during a rain storm that caused water damage to the electronics inside the cab that would have ended up costing $1000's in repairs. I ended up replacing the winsheild at a seperate location in Fargo that cost me another $350 and the shop owner told me whoever put the previous windsheild in did a HORRIBLE job. I ended up having to buy a new vehicle after dealing with countless electrical problems such as engine warning lights, throttle would cut out on me randomly driving down the highway, leaving me stranded on the side of the road, and many features on the screen would stop working.

This is a weird one. They didn't fix anything, and that is the point. My wife and I noticed a chip in the windshield of our new/used car, so we made an appointment. About 1 minute after they drove the car in to the shop the service tech told us that it had been repaired previously. Given the opportunity to rip off two idiots, they chose not to and instead showed us what to look for in the future: all with a really friendly attitude whithout being condescending. So...when we do get a new chip, I will absolutely trust them to fix.

Customer service is a bit out of date( stand offish), but honest and no fluff. They told me the facts and sold me what I asked for. Even passed on savings from the supplier to me( like $40) so that was a nice surprise when checking out, because he definitely didn't have to and I wouldn't have know any different. I was very happy with the money I spent at this business, no unpleasant surprises, they finished a few minutes early of their estimated time. Will come back with my other vehicles when needed!

They went above and beyond when I took my car in to have its windshield replaced. My hood was kept down by some wires my dad had tied to keep it down till I could get a new one. They had traded them out for some stronger ones, and did it 2x better! Thank you for going out of your way to do that! It's a nice stress I don't have to worry about as much now.

Called for a price for a windshield and they gave me a good price over the phone. I made an appointment to get it replaced & they told me it would be ready by 1 PM and it was ready by 1 PM. I'm very happy with their workmanship and price. I'll be going back for any & all auto glass work.

I had my wife's 04 dodge pickup windshield replaced here recently and I am very impressed. The price was more than fair, the service was excellent, and the people were great. Jake's will definitely be my first call if I ever need more auto glass installed.

Got my windshield fixed for half the price of competitors. A day later woke up to a crack in the windshield. They immediately replaced my windshield no questions no problems. Very impressed with Jakes. They will get all my business from here on in.
