Register's Auto Glass

When I woke up this morning and auto started my car to warm it up as it was 21° outside. I found a crack in my windshield. So I decided to contact Register's Auto Glass because they had repaired my windshield in March of 2023 when a foul tipped softball picked my car to land on!! I remembered their great fast service and their professionalism with the best Customer Service I had received in many years!! Tommy and Linda run a very old school business. The customer needs to be happy with the service and the product. When I arrived Tommy inspected the windshield. It wasn't due to the cold weather. There was a point of contact from a rock or debris from our North Carolina roads that I travel daily. Tommy gave me a phone number to call and within 10 minutes they had my car in the bay working to replace my windshield. Tommy kept the commutation open and advised that his technicians go to lunch at 12 pm for one hour and my car would be ready around 3 pm. So I decided I would camp out in the waiting area. They really have a nice and clean waiting area with very comfortable chairs (totally surprised) to hang out! As I sat and watch the 3 technicians go into work mode. It was nice to see how people today still do care about doing their jobs! THANKS GUYS!! They had my car ready and everything calibrated within 1 hour and before the their lunch break. Now that was some hustling going on. I totally appreciate everyone at Register's Auto Glass. The best part was it was 100% covered by my Farm Bureau Insurance. Register's Auto Glass turn a crappy day into a much better day. If there was a 10 🌟 star they definitely would deserve it!! Thanks Tommy, Linda and your office crew and the technicians!! I recently had the pleasure of using Register's Auto Glass, a small family-run business, and I can confidently say their 5.0 rating is well-deserved. This company is truly a family affair, with the husband, wife, and their two sons all working together to provide exceptional service. From the moment I contacted them, I felt valued and appreciated. They went above and beyond by offering to pick me up and drop me off, which was incredibly convenient given my busy schedule. Their kindness and dedication to customer service were evident in every interaction. I had the car for only three days when I noticed a crack in my new car's windshield after leaving work. The team at Register's Auto Glass was incredibly supportive and understanding, helping me address the issue promptly and efficiently. Their quick response and genuine concern made a stressful situation much easier to handle. I also want to give a special mention to Linda, who works in the office. Although I only met her once, she was incredibly attentive to my situation. My auto insurance had my claim messed up, and it took days to get them to remedy the issue. Throughout this time, Linda stayed in touch and kept me updated on the status of everything with the insurance. Her help was tremendous, and she provided great service with such a wonderful personality. It's heartwarming to see a family working together so harmoniously, and I am glad my money is supporting such a wonderful business. I "REALLY" should pay better attention when im mowing!!! Threw a rock and hit my BRAND new Tacoma in the driver's side front window!! The real kicker, we we're leaving the next afternoon, going on vacation for the week! Being a side window, ehhhh , thats a little questionable to wing it, and not get it repaired prior!! Being a new vehicle, I was sort of skeptical if anyone had one and could get it installed rather quickly! Haven't had to many glass issues, really didn't have a clue who to call! I tried Safelite first, they could do it, but not til 11 DAYS LATER!! Which i kinda understand, the operator sounded like he was from Pakistan, so im assuming it will definitely take that long to get across the "Pond" !! So, I looked local, and seen Registers, Even though its after 7pm and the website says closed , I called anyway! Andddd he answered!!! Explained the situation. He let me know he could have one there at 2pm the next day, and installed rather quickly!! I was there at 1:45, and pulling out their drive at 2:45 with a brand new window! Man, ya just cant beat service like that!! Plus!! The window and install was almost $200 less expensive than Safelite!! Ohhhh, and he didn't try to sale me a new set of wipers for my NEW truck!! I highly recommend, they are my first call if the need ever arises again, no doubt!! I appreciate it !!

My friend and I were in an extreme pinch - traveling from states away to Wilmington for a less than 24 hour visit. We got a crack in our windshield during our journey and needed it fixed before we traveled further south. We tried another place but they couldn’t take us within our short time frame, and we were fearing that worst. Until I decided to call Register’s. I called Register’s and briefly explained our situation, the owner immediately told us to bring our car in and that they could fix it for us right then and there. And that’s exactly what they did! They made a really crappy situation so much better and did it in about 30 minutes. We are so incredibly grateful for them and their services. The owner is so stinkin nice too! I would highly recommend their services, and if any of their employees are seeing this review - THANK YOU!!!

After a huge windshield crack, that just about took my breath away and the fear for my pockets, I was just upset. After calling Register’s Auto Glass and speaking to the owner, Tommy , I couldn’t be more happy or grateful. Not to mention a member a small business and an owner who has worked in the field for 29yrs, so we have knowledge behind the great customer service. They are also a satelite certified meaning they work with progressive and USAA insurance. All you have to do is voice this when submitting claim, requesting a call back on their online claim set up via app. Easy enough insurance sent over claim, still get your claim number, shop had all information. Showed up, did some work on my tablet, sat for 2hrs in a clean, air conditioned environment with all kind staff members. Highly recommend this proficient

The home we bought in Leland, NC had several windows fogged inside due to failed seals. TJ of Register's Auto Glass was recommended so we called him. He came out, looked over all our windows, and determined which ones to replace. He ordered the new windows and a week after we moved in, he and his coworker put them in. They worked well as a team and got the job done so we now have clear windows to enjoy from our inside our home. They had a challenge with the 3 large windows in the Carolina Room because the original windows were attached to the frames with some type of adhesive or cement that was extremely difficult to remove. However, they worked at it until finding the best removal method. Those large windows now look great and give the room a large open view to the backyard.

Over the Easter weekend, I drove to and from Carolina Beach to Louisville, Kentucky. For anyone making such a trip, construction on any route is considerable, and no one driving a dump truck does much to limit debris. So, the windshield was damaged not only in route to Kentucky, but also on the return trip. After calling Tommy at Register's that I was concerned about the complexity of replacing a Range Rover windshield, complete with heating elements and sensors; not to mention potential wind noise and leaks, he reassured me the job would be right. And it was - not a leak, not a squeak or rattle, all electronics calibrated properly. You could not tell such a substantial repair had even taken place. It's the only place my family and I will use in the future. Thanks Register's!

A big shout out to the guys who helped me this afternoon. I was headed out of town, stopped briefly for something around the corner and when I got back in my car it wouldn’t do a thing. After a bit of troubleshooting I discovered the battery cable was loose. I managed to get the connection secure enough to turn it over but was worried about traveling without the wiring secure. I had no tools in my car appropriate to tighten things up but on a Friday afternoon the staff at Registers quickly got me secure and ready for the road. Good old fashioned customer service and I wasn’t even a customer, just someone who needed a little help Good people in this place for sure! Thanks Registers

This was one of the most efficient experiences I had! Called Monday morning and left a message and received a call back within an hour or less. Was advised and sent the number to call to have the claim started with my insurance company so it could be sent over to the office. Even before that was completed, I was contacted and offered an appointment for the same afternoon! Dropped the car off and walked to get lunch nearby and job completed within an hour! Clean, courteous staff. Was a great experience with a full windshield replacement!

Thank you, Register's Auto! While we were visiting family in the area, the front windshield of our vehicle was cracked. In our initial call, we were told they were booked solid on Saturday, but they could replace the window on Monday. When I said we were supposed to leave on Monday, they said if we could bring them the truck, they would fix it right then. We did, and they did! It was 30 minutes from the time we walked in the door until we walked out. We were so grateful for the excellent service, and we highly recommend this business.
