Glass America - Auto Glass & Windshield Repair

Beyond disappointed. I own a 2013 Ford Focus. After 3 attempts to fix my car and multiple disagreements on whether or not the right windshield was installed.. the trim is STILL coming off of my car! 1st trip out, the tech replaced my cracked windshield and put the trim in place. Trim came up while driving down 220 on the passenger side. 2nd trip out, the techs didn't read the box of trim before coming out and picked up the wrong trim. They ordered trim for a Fiesta! I showed them the broken trim, it looked nothing like what they picked up and 1 of the techs talked about gluing the broken trim back down. I refused to give them the broken trim. 3rd trip out was canceled due to not enough tech trucks being available the day of the appointment. I understand that, but still down a vehicle. 4th trip out, tech stated the right windshield was installed and he called his boss who confirmed it was. I digressed and left it alone. Tech glued new trim down. Went to Ford to have recalls done and the tech there asked why I have a Fiesta windshield on a Focus! Now the trim on the driver's side is broken and coming off. After only 2 uses! Seriously done with this nightmare.

I initially chose to have Auto Glass Only (Glass America) out of High Point to replace my cracked windshield because they're close to my job. I figured I would be supporting a local business as well. I was contacted and told the technician would arrive between 9 a.m.-10 a.m. No one had arrived at 11:30 a.m. so I called the technician as instructed and left a voicemail. While on the phone with Safelite out of Jamestown, Robert called and texted me saying he'd be there in 10 minutes. It is now 1:35 p.m. At this point I have already scheduled for Safelite to come out. Safelite arrived on time and finished the job faster than expected. The Safelite staff was fast, friendly and reliable. The moral of the story is, CALL SAFELITE 1st!!!

First off let me just say very professional and extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I got there with only 5 minutes before closing and Mike still waited on me ! My BMW X5 review mirror was coming down! Not only did he take time out to fix it correctly he also gave me options if it didn’t work . Everything gave out wonderful and believe me if I need a windshield replaced or power windows fixed Glass America will have my business. Thanks for your service along with everything else you guys offer!

Excellent service replacing the windshield in my truck! Robert is a pro, got the job done quickly, fair pricing, no corporate jargon fees, no mess and no b.s. Awesome guy and great chatting with you for a bit. I really appreciate you guys getting me back on the road so quickly and for making my after vacation rock in the windshield just a bump in the road!

My experience with Glass America was superb. A definite 10/10. My windshield was damaged at 4 pm 5/8 and by 2 pm 5/9 I had a brand new windshield. The technicians had my windshield installed and all calibrations done in less than one hour. Great, friendly, quick, easy and professional service. Highly recommend.

I had a very satisfactory experience on May 9, 2025 with Glass America at their 3633 Durham Chapel Hill Blvd, Durham, NC, location. Technician Nickie C. did a great job replacing the lower back window glass on a 2008 Toyota Prius Hatchback. I recommend Glass America for your auto glass needs. Charmaine Dominique

Mike came on time, I’m assuming I was 1st for the day. He did a great job was very professional. He did the job, cleaned up the leftover glass shards and reminded me of the rear wiper that I need and a few tips to get the access tape off…I appreciate the work, well done. Thank you Glass America

We travel for work and needed a side window replaced same day. The only place in town with last second capability and reasonable pricing. They got us in right away and made the repair in record time. Great service with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Would highly recommend.

Our windshield suddenly developed a huge crack after a pebble hit. Nick was super nice and was able to help us right away. Job looks well done, calibration was completed at their site, and my rear-view mirror is mounted more solidly than it ever was before haha. Thanks again.
