Had a leak in our front window after a hard frost where our family car flooded. Called to get an estimate to fix the window and was told they could not guarantee a fix without a full replacement. We got quoted for a fix and replacement knowing chances to save window were small. Came out to our home 2 days later. The communication was wonderful and the gentleman fixing our window (sorry I can't recall his name) was very professional and kind. He was patient and able to save our window! Would recommend to anyone I know. Thank you!

I am a car enthusiast and extremely picky about who works on my cars. I recently had a broken windshield replaced by Wilson & Tucker and was extremely pleased with the job they did. I would highly recommend them. Below is the bigger story in case you’re interested: Since I have little experience with getting a windshield replaced, I asked those fine folks at State Farm's subcontracted group of bumbling windshield repair agents to recommend a good glass company. They gave me the name of two options that I proceeded to Google to try and find reviews, locations, etc. It turns out that the two glass repair companies they suggested to me were not even from the Charlotte area. Best I could tell, they had mobile truck(s) that serviced claims here, but no real address - which did not give me any feeling of confidence. Charlotte is the biggest city in the state of NC and it just seems like there would be some reputable glass companies right here? Additionally, finding reliable reviews on those two companies was tough since they didn't have Charlotte addresses - so my confidence in them was plummeting even further. During that Google search, I ran across Wilson & Tucker Auto Glass. They had a perfect five star rating for 17 reviews - which is something you rarely ever see but something that aligned perfectly with my ultra high expectations. I called Wilson & Tucker to check them out and after a quick chat, I knew that I had found the right shop. It is a family business that has been around since 1934. They provide mobile service and can do repairs on your car wherever but because I am overly particular, and because my car is fairly rare, I chose to come to their shop in case they ran into any anomalies. They replaced the windshield quickly while I waited with virtually no signs that anything had ever been altered from stock. I was thrilled and everything was covered through State Farm with no issues. I will definitely choose them without hesitation next time.

We were so gratified to stumble across this gem of a family owned business when we sought to replace our truck's windshield, which fell victim to rock damage on the infamous I-77 construction zone. The were not only quick to answer their phone, quick to schedule us in on incredibly short notice, but gave us an astonishingly low repair cost beating *every other glass shop in three counties*! Service was amazing, friendly, responsive. I arrived early, not knowing how the morning traffic would be, and they, too, were there before their posted hours, checking on the windshield deliveries made during the night. When they finished their morning prep, the owner came over, introduced himself, and offered to take my truck in early. ??? I was amazed to be finished 3 minutes before my appointment time (the first thing on their calendar) was scheduled to begin. Broken, cracked, damaged windows or windshield? Go to Wilson & Tucker. You're welcome.

Never have I received such great service. A piece of ice fell from a bridge and cracked my windshield while driving on the interstate to Raleigh on Friday morning. We called Wilson & Tucker around noon and unfortunately they were fully booked for Saturday morning. Instead of just recommending someone else they came in early on Saturday and did it right at 8 am. They had picked up the glass the prior evening and so were ready to roll, no waiting. They came out to the parking lot to meet me and had the car finished in 40 minutes flat. There was not one other firm that told me they wouldn't take at least 2-3 hours. I am a totally satisfied customer. On top of it all they charged a fair price. Thanks very much to Wilson & Tucker for exceeding my expectations at absolutely every stage. The installation is awesome and I can once again see out the windshield.

Called Monday and made an appointment for Tuesday morning. I waited an extra 30 mins before calling when they failed to show or call me. Whoever made my appointment Monday never put down the time I was told. They said they come later that day and still no word from them. Called them at 4pm and left a voicemail. Couldn’t get a call back so they texted me making an excuse that they ordered the wrong glass even though I confirmed make/model three times. They assured me they would come yesterday. Never showered up and never was given an update or ETA. Really disappointed as the guys were really professional when I first called. Wouldn’t recommend. Originally gave them 1 star but they reached out to me after my review to make it right and fixed my window which I respect.

Called Wilson & Tucker auto glass as my wife has used them in the past and had a great experience. Dillon was the one who I spoke with and gave me the quote and he’s also the one who did the windshield replacement. He was super flexible with my schedule and let me know know when he was coming. Great customer service he was prompt when he arrived he got right to work. Was very meticulous in the way he worked. He cleaned and tidied up while working. Made sure everything lined up and fitment was spot on. I was impressed at how quickly he was able to get the old windshield out and cleaned and prepped for the new one. Found this affordable company after my car was broken into. The worker did well on the window repair, but damaged my car more. I have tried for a week to have this situation rectified, but this business is evading responsibility. There was also no clear communication before the job and I requested a receipt to be left in my car and still have not received that either. I wanted to give this business a great review after the job but it seems they do not care about high quality car care service. Please beware when spending your money with this business, it would be better to pay more for better service and care.

Wilson & Tucker auto glass is a great local choice for windshield replacements! Originally I had an appointment with Safelite but they had an extremely high quote ($1,000 for the windshield replacement and recalibration) and they wanted me to go to the shop. I contacted Wilson & Tucker on Sunday and was on the schedule by Monday for next day service. They came to my house and did the windshield replacement which was super convenient. They were timely, quick and much more affordable. They offer a discount if you pay cash which was amazing by itself. Thank you for your timeliness and fixing my windshield!!

Made an appt last Wednesday they never showed or called even though I was wanting to reschedule no one reached back out so I just didn’t worry about that. They reached out the next day said Friday would be good but suggested Monday since weather was more warmer Monday comes and no one called or arrived at scheduled time wanted to avoid the comments and just see for myself since I know sometimes people don’t be truthful. My husband took a day off work losing money just for no one to show it’s disappointing and unprofessional.

The guys who work at this shop are phenomenal! I had issues with getting one of my car door windows to go back up, and feared it was a motor issue. They were willing to take my door apart and properly diagnose the issue. In comparison to other companies who try to charge you over the head, these guys took their time to ensure the motor and sensors were in good condition — most importantly, they were honest. I would entrust these guys with any of your maintenance issues.
