Do NOT go here. My insurance set this up for me to replace my windshield. They had my car from 9am-5:30pm. Not once did they call me to tell me what time I’d be good to pick up, or the status of anything. It took me calling several times for them to tell me, word for word, “your windshield has been replaced and the cameras recalibrated. You are good to come pick it up.” So I get an Uber for the 45 minute drive there only to show up and be told that was a giant lie and my cameras were NEVER calibrated. They had zero intentions on letting me know that - at all. Nobody contacted me throughout the day when they realized they wouldn’t be able to do it, and they had absolutely no plan to fix it. I was told if I left my car overnight (so take ANOTHER 45 min Uber home and back the next day), they MIGHT be able to do it the next morning. The manager eventually called me and we worked out an agreement to get it fixed, but that still required me taking my car (with no calibrated cameras - which is an insurance liability) home and making the drive back several days later. Overall an exhausting experience and one I’ll never repeat.

Updated Review: Charles, the technician, was very kind and timely. I was concerned about my windshield repair being completed in the rain, but he made it work. When I inspected it after he left (it was still raining when he finished, and I was not prepared to go outside in the rain to inspect it then) I could not see the crack so I rated the service as five stars. The next day while driving the vehicle, the crack was still noticeable, so I called Caliber’s customer service. The customer service representative who assisted me stated that my concern would be forwarded to management who would contact me further. So far, I haven’t heard from anyone. The reason for a 3 star review now is because of her lack of professionalism. She did not offer her name and after telling me that I would hear from management, she mumbled something I couldn’t understand and hung up. I will be contacting my insurance company for additional assistance with this matter.

Not a good experience. I usually take my vehicles to a specific glass shop that I trust. But I decided to support a local business in Waxhaw. Caliber in Waxhaw was on State Farm's list of preferred/suggested glass shops. Well, the tech came out and installed the glass. But he accidentally cut the wire to the dash/reverse cam. He said he couldn't fix it because he didn't have electrical tools. But he didn't even offer to come back and repair it, or didn't even say that he would let the Caliber office know what happened. I know it's an easy fix (hopefully as easy as splicing it back together). I can fix it. But that's not the point. It's about the quality of the work being done. I'll be going back to my personal glass shop from now on.

Manager and auto glass technician only cared about the business. They discussed on speakerphone about how I supposedly said thing I never said. I mentioned I have done nothing to the glass, seen nothing hit the glass, and I believed the crack was stress related or something odd. The quality of the glass must be poor, but they only care about the money. There was no decision that was going to make us as a consumer that just spent $1000 on the replacement happy. I encourage you to go to other auto glass replacement companies like Arrow Glass or any other option. I know what happens at Caliber and I will not spend more money with them at this point. We will be fine! Our insurance will take care of it, but Caliber will not get our business.

I had my windshield replaced on August 23,2024. The technician showed up 2hrs early than inspected. Fast forward two weeks i notice a piece of rubber flapping in the wind on right side of my windshield.i call caliber after hours and spoke to a woman and I told her my the problem was. She said she would forward my message to A manager and should receive a call from them. Another week goes by still no call from management. Now I'm getting upset 😡. I called my insurance company back and let know what was going on. On Oct 11th a caliber technician showed up and repair the windshield, knowingly i was asleep at time the technician showed up.Unprofessional!!!!!

I Had an insurance claim for a cracked windshield that was spreading faster than I've ever seen one spread. It went from 3-4 inches to 3-4 FEET in less than 45 minutes so I needed a new windshield ASAP! Made an insurance claim and was having trouble finding a place that could do it that soon. Then we found Caliber auto glass. They got me in the very next morning and had my windshield done in no time. Everyone was extremely nice and it was a good experience. Will absolutely use them again if I need a window replaced.

Caliber Glass very easy to schedule, very professional with communications of updates of the process.As for the technician FRANK was very professional, neat, I have had other companies replace window shields in the pas the technicians were in a pisss moody. Frank and I talked like we’ve known each other for years. I hope that the other techs are as good as Frank, or should take lessons from him, Like I said before FRANK did a fantastic job. Will call again when I need work on replacing a window shield Charlie

Had a wide crack on my windshield with water coming into the cab along the top in multiple places where the adhesive had separated from the metal frame. Mark was very professional, knowledgeable , explained in detail the process of the project and what had caused the problem in first place. Mark replaced my cracked windshield and fixed all the water leaks along the top. He went above and beyond to get the job done. Great job Mark! From now on your company will be taking care of all my vehicles.

The rear window of my car was chattered. I called 3 auto glass company and the only first to respond was Caliber Auto Glass. The customer service was fantastic. They always updated me of my work order by text and phone. I want to give KUDOS to the technician William C. He arrivwd on time and with a smile. He replaced my car window in less than no time. My technician was name Mike he contact me via text to see if I was available to do early service which was great because I am a third shifter and I had just gotten home. He cleaned the glass that was broken as well as a fast and corrective replacement. I appreciate, the kindness, quickness of the service and the great professionalism!! 10 out of 10 WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!
