Let me start off that the actual techs that do the work are polite and honest. From the start I had issues. Scheduled my appt, dropped off my car only to get a call that they don't have my windshield and to come pick it up, reschedule for following Friday. By the time I got back home, received another message that the windshield was never ordered and was 12 days out from delivery. Called the Yorkville, they had no idea why that was and they stated it was not someone in there office that called. The level of disconnect and disorganization was shocking. Finally, dropped my car off for the new windshield, had select the option for new wipers. Thankfully it was raining so I was able to see that the wipers were not hitting the windshield in the upper driver's corner. Took back and tech ended up putting my old wipers on stating the new wipers did not fit the car properly. He also said that manager would reimburse me for those when he go back from lunch. I have not received any reimbursement or acknowledgment from management at Yorkville.

The rear window in my car exploded for no apparent reason during a cold spell this winter. I contacted Safelite and was told it would take 2-3 weeks for them to get a rear window window for my make and model vehicle, but they were polite and scheduled my appointment, and kept me informed as the weeks progressed. The service person that arrived, Aaron, was polite, professional, and efficient. He knew what he was doing, he took the old window out and vacuumed all the broken window debris from inside my car and the garage floor. I was really surprised to see how much of the car he had to take apart ( near wiper assembly, brake light, defroster, etc.) to replace this window. He did all this work and put the new window in, in just under 1.5 hours with no need of assistance or me hanging over his shoulder to watch or help. I would have no quandaries about turning to Safelite to replace any window in my vehicle.

Won’t sugarcoat it, the tech who serviced my vehicle was a chauvinist. He completely ignored me when my fiancé and I showed up to the shop for the repair. Yes my fiancé was driving but I said “Hi, I’m Ashley, here for my 11 o’clock appointment”. The tech then proceeded to only look at my fiancé, explained the whole process to him but didn’t bother to even glance in my general direction during that. I know this because we were on opposite sides of my vehicle with the tech standing at the front. After my windshield was fixed, the tech handed the key off to my fiancé even though my arm was outstretched to receive it. The process was faster than expected, which is always good and appreciated but my car was given back to us with the suction cup marks / glove imprints all around the serviced area.

A great job was done on my daughter's car. The displayed price for the wiper blades was cheaper than what was going to be charged. I mentioned this to the man I spoke with, and I agreed to purchase the blades. Upon my return, I was disappointed to see that the pricing above the blades had not been removed or updated. A different man rang us up, and I mentioned the pricing discrepancy. I felt that this was a bait-and-switch tactic. I expect businesses to be ethical, and the man offered to give me the blades for free. I appreciated the offer but declined, and he charged me the displayed price. This was a fair resolution for both of us.

My friends rear window shattered, and he called me to ask if I wanted to go with him, since he had tried to call the place he bought the car from, and they told him the warranty doesn't apply to windows!! They were extremely quick, even though I accidentally locked the door, they were able to easily get it open and then putting on the new window, took about 10 minutes all together!! Amazingly quick, extremely clean, free beverages for waiting and extremely knowledgeable and understanding staff!! I definitely recommend!!!

Jeff frm Safelife called me at 8am to say that he would be at my house on July 15th @1:20 to fix my rear window on my Ford Hatchback that had been shot out on my way to Airport in NJ that past Tuesday.It started to rain when he arrived so we set up a tarp over his truck and my car so he would be able to replace my window.He went above and beyond to ensure that the experience was very satisfying he vacuumed my car and cleaned up glass that had fallen into my driveway upon fixing and washed my window..Thank You Jeff

They did a fine job putting the glass in. The head guy was honest and told it like it is. The company though was horrible. They first tried to put aftermarket glass in my wife's car. Scheduling was a nightmare. When my wife finally got the work done, we had been to the shop 4 times over a 3 month period. In my opinion, that is unacceptable! The two stars are for the workers at the shop. Otherwise would give zero stars if I could and toward the company.

Talked to Safelite at 10:30 a.m. scheduled an appointment with a traveling technician to arrive between 12-5p.m. Technician arrived at 11:30 completed the chip repair and left by 12:00. Awesome company to work with ZERO paperwork if you have glass coverage through your insurance. I had the chip repair fixed it is much better than before the fix, if it becomes more bothersome Safelite will come back and install a new windshield.

Phenomenal service! The staff were quick, efficient, and precise with my windshield replacement. While I was there the manager spent time speaking with a sweet elderly woman who just appeared a bit lonely while she was waiting. He spoke to her until her vehicle was ready and was also able to keep up on his work. 10/10 would recommend this location and will come back.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

My experience couldn’t have been better. Setting up the service appointment was very easy and the technician gave me plenty of notice for his arrival time. He was friendly, helpful, and very efficient. It only took about a half hour to complete my replacement and he was able to transfer all my stickers and EZpass velcro tabs. The entire process was easy and stress-free, I would definitely recommend Safelite!
