This rating reflects the shop itself but mostly the company’s contact system. I had my jeep’s windshield replaced and after pulling away the dash cam that has wires leading into it had what IU told me was a pinched wire so I had them replace the wire and when I tried to call the local shop that was impossible I finally had to settle with someone in Ohio to make my case. I was asked to return my vehicle for inspection and pictures so they could see the issue. The problem with that is I would have to wait till Monday and it was Friday, and I had already paid for the wire to be replaced. Now because the issue was resolved with my jeep and cheap I may add 78.00 now I can not make a claim cause there is now issue to take a pic of. If I could have reached the local office when IU said this is the problem I could have said hello I am so and so can I please come right over have you see the take a pic if you need to and than be on my way to fix my vehicle and go from there. Unfortunately there’s days we can no longer just have a conversation with another person simply as we did before.

I had the most wonderful experience with Safelite. Having my window broken was extremely stressful, but dealing with Monica at Safelite was so greatly appreciated. She stayed late and made sure that she was able to be there for me to return my car to park it there inside the building until my glass came in. They pulled my car in every night to ensure that it was kept safely until the replacement arrived and Patrick did an amazing job replacing my back windshield again this was the most stressful situation of having to go through and they made it go along As best a situation like this could! Thank you again for your devotion and true care in regards to helping me!

I showed up for my appointment a few minutes early and was met outside by a Safelite employee to inspect the chips on my windshield. He cleaned one area with some glass cleaner and a razor blade and was able to remove one hard rough spot that had appeared to be a glass defect. Safelite employee stated remaining chips were too small to repair with resin injection and that he didn't think the chips were large enough to warrant any attempt to repair or replace windshield completely. I appreciate the honest and friendly advice! If I need to replace the whole windshield in the future, I will go back to Safelite.

They helped me by putting a "crash cover" over my rear window while I waited for the part. It was a big help but tech did not remove all the glass chips and they wedged between the plastic and they scratched the paint. When the actual part was installed, it was done well and done quickly. However, the rear wiper was relaced backwards. I had to remove it and re install when I got home. Nothing real bad, nothing great. Would I go back? Probably. A few years ago they replaced a windshield and did a great job.

I was avoiding calling to make a claim because I was afraid it would be another automated phone call trying to get to someone but this was the easiest process ever! My phone call to my insurance company lasted maybe 10 minutes and they already had me scheduled with Safelite. Ryan from Safelite was informative, kept me up to date and made the whole experience so quick and painless even though I was at work when he repaired my windshield. Couldn’t be happier and highly recommend.

Safelite made the windshield replacement process simple. They were in contact about the appointment within 24 hours of filing the claim and sent reminders by phone and email. Christopher contacted me within the 2-hour window given and notified me when he was on his way. He did the replacement right in my driveway, taking a little over an hour, and explaining the process thoroughly. I would recommend the services of Safelite to anyone in need of window replacement.

Caught a rock with all the construction going on in Syracuse, so scary. Scheduled the replacement with my insurance company and got appt in 2 days. Told it would take 4 hrs, had an 11am appt, due to our schedules we dropped it off at 8am. They were able to get it right in and fixed by 9:30. Yeah! Very easy and windshield replaced, they were able to save the inspection and registration too!! Would recommend 100%

Went there today 8/21/24 to have 2 cracks on my windshield repaired. The workmanship was honest, prompt, professional and friendly. It was such a good experience dealing with honest and skilled people. No unnecessary waiting time, an honest assessment of what to expect after a repair is done, and a good final post-repair windshield. It was a good over-all experience in going to this shop.
