I had my windshield replaced a few months ago, at this time we have not had much rain. Over the last few weeks it has rained enough to show an issue. When my windshield was sealed, it wasn’t done properly, which has caused paint around my entire windshield to bubble up and flake off. When I contacted the business just looking for help (nicely I may add) I was told “this couldn’t be our fault this is a poor paint job” I found this response to be very immature, irresponsible and most of all bad business. The gentleman i spoke with then offered, by text, to come to me to “explain” things. I may be a girl but I don’t need things explained by a man to understand them. Things were very clear to me at that moment. I purchased my vehicle just about a year ago, before the replacement I had no issues with paint on my 5 year old vehicle. The paint on me vehicle has not been touched since coming from the factory. Although, I can understand these things can occur I don’t think this was the case. This business has failed to take responsibility or even try to assist in the issue despite being paid for the windshield replacement and advising insurance things like this are covered under the “warranty”. Be warned.

Safeway Auto Glass did an excellent job replacing the windshield on my Kia Soul EV. They gave me a repair window of 8:30-10 AM, and within two days of speaking to them. Which was much quicker than I had expected. They showed up at my house at 8:30 on the dot and got right to work. They had the new glass set in place within 35 mins and even reinstalled the wiper blades after I had removed them to repair another piece on my car prior to their arrival. After the other guys could not eliminate the noise that started after a windshield change safeway took the time to get to the bottom. Having to replace the windshield again and the cowl. Doing both was able to see potential issues that caused the noise. Could not be wrong as I no longer have the noise. Safeway was recommended to me through Mid-Hudson Subaru and they did a wonderful job replacing the front windshield on my 2022 Subaru Outback. They came to my house between 8-10am and were done within 30 mins. The whole process was smooth and easy (submitted a claim with Insurance company, got a phone call from Safeway a few hours from submitting the claim and new windshield was installed in 2 days). These guys were absolutely great!!! I used SafeLITE before and had a bad experience, so I tried SafeWAY instead. That was the best decision I made! They came to my home, replaced the windshield on my Escalade, recalibrated the cameras, cleaned up, and they were done in under an hour! They were fast, friendly, and professional! They called me right back, told me how to file a claim with my insurance for glass coverage and were at my house reparing my windshield 2 days later.
