I have been here FOUR TIMES. What was suppose to be a simple glass window fix became us bringing the car back because the door would no longer open and shut. I showed the tech that the car door panel was not put back on correctly and he apologized an explained that it was a technicians error and that they would fix it. As soon as we got home the door was again not opening and closing and this was with the panel back on correctly. When we brought it in again we were told that the piece that makes the handle open and close was loose and that they had to screw it back. We go home and again the door doesn’t work so when we call they say the piece must be Broken we’ll have to order a new one we will call you back when it comes in. Yesterday my husband goes to bring it in this time they “fix” the piece only to find when we come home and lower the window the window is now making a loud sound that it was not making previous to them touching the door again. When my husband called to speak to a manager we were told that it was not in their systems that we came anytime after the glass repair and that that sounds like an issue that happens with older cars.(Basically even thought it happened directly after they touched it it’s an us problem) Our car is a 2017 with no prior issues before bringing it here. When I spoke to customer care they apologized let me know that it was safelights issue and that they would have to reimburse us to fix it. Customer care then asked me to hold for a moment while they called the location only for them to then go okay they they will take it from here. To which we where taken in circles again with the same tech who had claimed to fix our problems previously now telling us that he was sure someone told us the first time we brought the car in that there was something wrong regulator and that’s not something they fix or have anything to do with. We had previously never been told anything about an issue with any regulator. The manger made no sense either. If we where told from the begging that it was the regulator why would we come back time and time again with THEM being the ones asking us to come in and get the door fixed. Their stories didn’t line up or make sense. One worker was saying he remembered all the times we came in, meanwhile the manager was saying we had only ever gotten our glass fixed there and that she had no record of us ever bringing our car there after the fact. She said this while in the next breath saying she also was 100% sure it was our regular that was broken because her tech wrote it down when he fixed the problem originally. Makes no sense 100% unprofessional. Never had a problem in the past with this specific location but after the hell and back we have had with this door never again will I came back.NegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value

I had two cracks in my windshield from two separate events on West Klein on separate days. One small ding from a stone right in front of the driver side windshield (had it not been for the windshield, I'm confident the stone would have impaled my forehead and I wouldn't be here. I saw stone spinning and hit the glass as it was kicked up by an oncoming dump truck.) The second stone strike hit a couple inches above the dash...and propagated left and right about 3 ft within a couple days. ... time for a new windshield. Up front, the appointment confirmation emails from Safelite were problematic. My insurance company prompted these auto-emails. Safelite's nationwide call center couldn't find my appointment, gave me a false phone number for the Clarence NY location (phone rang without an answer nor VM option), and gave me the latest appointment. I received three appointment confirmation emails. One for Saturday after their Google-listed close time of noon. Two for a Monday appointment. The "edit appointment" links were broken as ive seen others report in reviews on social media. No phone number. Just useless email information. Friday, I received a new confirmation email requesting me to call a specific number to update my phone number. They told me the Saturday appointment time was set (despite their service giving me Monday). Aside from obvious technical issues that they completely ignored, the service was spot-on. Mahmoud got the job done in far less than expected time including calibration. I'll wait a couple days to see if anything is an issue whereupon I'll hose it down to check for leaks. Looks great. Lane-assist works as expected. Obstacle alert system works (I tested it by driving along N Forest just south of Heim Rd where there are two plastic reflectors on either side of a mailbox that have triggered my front end collision alert to sound perhaps 80% of the time, likely because the reflectors look like taillights to the system.) Glad my glass insurance covered this repair as it did last year's two-window smash from someone who broke into my vehicle. The latter repair was done by West Herr.

Used this service a few months ago for a cracked windshield and wiper replacement. They did a fine job with the windshield and the tech was nice. The issue was he installed my wiper incorrectly and it flew off when I was driving. Luckily no one got hurt or any damage was done. I was able to recover the blade that flew off my car and fixed it myself. I called customer service and it didn't feel like they were that sympathic. I wouldn't say they were rude but I felt unsatisfied by their response. They said they could have someone fix the blade which I already did. I was upset I paid you guys and then had to do the work. I did receive a text and email about them wanting to talk about my experience and the issue I had but they never sent the follow up to either the text or email. I waited these last few months to see if they did and since they didnt I decided to leave this review.

I hate to have to post this, but I see the owner is responsive to reviews. Have no other way to contact a manager. Had my windshield replaced in July 2022. Went back in July of this year due to leaking on the carpet after a heavy rain. Was completely blown off at this appt. They did not offer to test. Well, 4 months later, it is worse, car wouldn't start the past few weeks after it would rain. Then my horn stopped working. It got towed to my mechanic after it left me stranded. Attached is the video of what they found. The windshield is leaking at the corners on both sides. My floor is ruined, car is undriveable due to the fuse box being saturated with water and corroded. They are not taking this seriously, and then don't have this scheduled to look at till Dec. 3rd! This needs to be resolved now! Not a week from now! Please help!!

The tech placed the rear view mirror incorrectly so it hit my visor every time I moved either one. A piece of my mirror covering the wires was also missing. When I originally called I was told I’d need to wait a week for a tech to come back out. I called back and finally a tech was able to come back within an hour or two to fix the issue. Later, I noticed my windshield wipers were not properly aligned and I had to loosen and adjust them. The inside of my car was also left dirty. To me it seems like they do not check their work. When you’re working on someone’s car you need to triple check your work and be careful! And they did not prove that they did. I only used their service because my car insurance paid for it. Otherwise… I’d probably not recommend this place.

I had an amazing experience with Safelite! When my windshield cracked, I made an appointment through my car insurance company. Little did I know, my appointment didn't go through. But the staff was incredibly helpful and walked me through the process of securing an appointment. The technician worked on my car immediately and repaired my windshield in a matter of 15 minutes. Mind you this was 30 minutes before they closed for the day. I was so impressed with Safelite's speedy, convenient service and their staff's warm, courteous attitude. Five stars all the way! I'll definitely be calling them again if I ever need auto glass repair or replacement.

Preferred partner of insurance company where neither party will accept responsibility for ordering after market glass for a windshield repair. Recognizing make and model of vehicle, after market glass should have never been installed. Company wasted 4 hours of my day and returned vehicle without safety features working. Taking the vehicle to another company to properly complete the work. Do not recommend having work done here.

We want to Thank the staff in Clarence for taking such great care of us after getting a chip on our weekend trip. We took the chance and went directly to the closest Safelite which was backtracking to Clarence. It was the right choice!!! They were able to fit us in and get us back on the road, fixed and safe! Thank you for saving our trip not having to worry about a full replacement over the whole weekend. 💖

Fast and friendly service, I was in and out in about an hour. Veronica at the front desk was great. There was an issue with my deductible with my insurance company and she spent about forty-five minutes on the phone with my insurance getting everything squared away. Highly recommend, will be back again if needed.

Safelite did a great job repairing my windshield nick. I called and was in the shop within the hour. The nick was fully repaired and the price was super fair. In addition, the staff was easy to work with and very friendly. I would return here at a later date if more work was needed.
