Had a "drop off" appointment to replace a windshield. Car was to be dropped off before 9:30am per the appointment but we took it in at 7:30am to give them more than enough time. At 3:30pm we stopped and the car was "next in line". We head home and then came back at 5pm(when they close). Seeing the car still hasnt went back we run a few errands. At 5:45 we return and waited as the work was to be completed in 15-30 minutes. Finally left at 7:10 pm...... 20 minutes shy of 12 hours from dropoff and 2:10 minutes of waiting in person. First car there.... last to leave. Welcome to safelite. I almost feel like their "drop off" option penalized me as 1)i still waited the full time as if we booked an appointment and waited in person and 2)felt like our car was purposely passed up in lieu of those waiting in person. I regret using the app to prepay as i would have argued a discount due to the inconvenience. Staff was nice enough but was dissapointed that nothing was done remedy the situation. I'm sure their staff was paid to work after hours but felt something should have been done for purposely being put to the end of the line all day. I would theorize that is I waited in person at 9:30am that service would have been completed prior to 7:10pm. Only saving grace is we did not have anything scheduled that evening which could have been the case because who would honestly would think that they'd need more than 6 hours to complete the work. Quality of work is to be determined as it was raining and dark at pickup. Flashlight review at home found the cowling may be messed up. Went back and forth on posting a follow up but felt the people should know. After getting the vehicle home here were the other issues 1) missing clips on the cowling 2)damaged drip weatherstrip on roof 3) without consent they broke and glued back the rearview mirror cover. However these idiots did not wait until the glue dried and it dried into the rearview mirror assembly which cost me $80 and almost $700(parts only) because if it nearly broke the assembly during removal. Luckily the clip that got glued into the assembly broke off from the cover and i was able to cut the clip out. Im lucky this is only a 4 year old vehicle, anything with age would have resulted in breaking the whole piece. I lucked out and repairs to their work has been only around $250. Given all they extra time they took on this i would loved to have been given a shopping list to round up the parts to do the job right on my dime. Would have been much easiler than having to go back and deal with their botched repairs. What drove me to update this is those idiots left their mifi in the car and i found it last week under the seat. Not much they did right in this install. I guess im luckly the windshield hasnt fallen out...... yet.....

I wish I can give zero stars. I was traveling from NC to CA when my windshield was hit with a sheet of ice, this was in January of 2024. I booked an appointment at this location. I thought my car was fine, When I received my vehicle it was dark out so I didn't get to see all the adhesive glue all over my car. In Arizona, I started to notice that my rear mirror was shaking a lot. I remember that you have a ONE YEAR warranty with safelite to fix any issues after the car leaves the shop, it has to be under their doings. I ended up noticing my car had adhesive glue all over the paint so I booked an appointment with a local safelite in Los Angeles where I live and I let them know that the rear mirror was loose and that my car had an excessive amounts of glue on the paint. The technician that came to my house explained to me that he was able to fix the rear mirror but couldn't get all the adhesive glue off, that it seems like that they kept putting their hands on the car when they were working on the windshield, they had glue on their gloves and smeared it all over. He said that safelite should reach out to me after he lets them know. I had zero calls and I waited two weeks. I decided to call them and they ended transferring the call to the manager of this location and he apologized and I genuinely believed him that something was going to be done. He told me himself that he would give me his personal number and I can text him the photos of the vehicle. He would get back to me, guess what? absolutely nothing but silence. I've contacted customer service several times through email and phone calls. I've been told several times to take it in locally which I have and they told me that they aren't responsible even though they are all safelite. That I have to contact that manager and guess what? I'm here stuck still trying to speak to this man who's apparently incompetent at his job and does not keep his word. He left me a voicemail once and apologize that he wasn't working the day that customer service reach out to him. NOT THIS MAN acting like I've left him a message once? DUDE I've BEEN TRYING SINCE APRIL, WE"RE IN OCTOBER NOW. January 15, 2025 We’re finally in contact through BBB and they made me find a body shop and get an estimate. After so long I’ve finally found a body shop that will take my car. The boss of the body shop said that he will send all the information to the manager of this Safelite. So now the customer care representatives keep bothering me on giving them the estimate when I keep telling them that the manager at their Jefferson location in NM has it. It has been email to him and they just keep bothering me saying that they won’t go forward with me because I won’t give them the estimate that I don’t have. 😐

Just don't go here. Or probably any Safelite for that matter. I came here the first time to get my windshield replaced due to a large crack. They did the job fast (<3 hours) and all seemed well. Until I stepped into my car. The windshield was visually incredibly distorted directly in front of the driver and the passenger. This was somehow missed both during installation and when the tech drove the car out to the front. When I asked the manager about getting it fixed under their "lifetime materials and workmanship" warranty, they said that I'd have to wait 1 week in order to let the glue dry. Fine. It absolutely sucked to drive and gave me headaches to try and look it. I almost got into a few accidents because looking at the glass made my eyes and head hurt too bad and so I'd keep shifting my gaze. The next week I come in and they again do the job pretty fast in about 3 hours. But AGAIN, the windshield had visual distortion on the passenger side. No managers were present to talk to about this. The tech claimed that "all windshields will have distortion". This is not true. I know how windshields are made. They do not all "have distortion". The tech additionally said that they would not replace the windshield after one replacement. This runs counter to their claimed "lifetime materials and workmanship" warranty. In the end, I am now stuck with a windshield with ONLY distortion on the passenger side, and I had to waste an extra day to get it. I really do not understand how their windshield quality can be so terrible, but the fact that Safelite is the only company that my insurance would directly work with (versus being reimbursed) gives me some theories. Basically, if you want an actually good windshield that you can see through clearly, don't go here.

I picked up my new truck from the dealer on Friday and when I was on my way home my windshield was struck by an errant golf ball off of the public golf course and was completely destroyed. I was crushed, I couldn't even get my truck home from the dealership without it being damaged. I found one Safelight in town that had one available appointment for the next day, and it was a drop it off and we'll get to it sometime that day appointment. Not an ideal situation for somebody as aggravated I was at that moment about my new truck getting damaged. I was the first guy in at 8:00 a.m. when they opened, and the guys there were really friendly and super nice and brought my mood up a lot. When the first appointment scheduled that morning showed up they immediately called his tech up and they had him taken care of and unbelievably efficient manner. I was impressed, but a little bummed knowing that if they ran that tight of a schedule I probably wouldn't see my truck until 5:00 or 6:00 as promised. The business was really clean and really well kept in appearance. My wife picked me up and I went home to Stew some more over my damaged brand new vehicle. By 10:30, I got the call that my truck was done! They had handled the insurance claim and all I had to pay was my deductible of $100. The work was done perfectly, the broken glass had been cleaned out of my truck, and they even washed the rest of the windows. I'm whole again, thank you staff at Safelite on Jefferson!

Horrible horrible service. Stay away. I scheduled a mobile repair to replace front driver's side and passenger side window. I was quoted and paid $573.17 by credit card. First appointment, the technician showed up after 6:00 PM, after dark, with the wrong glass. I rescheduled and the technician didn't show up. I rescheduled again, and the technician called and said shop still didn't have the glass. I was finally able to speak to shop manager, Victor. He Safelite would "make it good." I rescheduled again. Safelite refunded the $573.17. The technician showed up and installed the glass, but botched the job. Neither window worked appropriately. The technician said that we would have to take the car to the shop and Victor would call to schedule a time. He never did. I then left two telephone messages with Victor, which he did not return. I gave up, and took the car to the dealer. The dealer informed me that the Safelite technician had damaged the internal mechanisms for the windows, which I am now having repaired for more than Safelite quoted to replace the windows. To add insult to injury, Safelite charged my credit card $843.50, for this botched incomplete job. I am challenging the charge of course, but I've spent hours dealing with this mess. If you are in the Albuquerque service area, I strongly recommend you do not use Safelite.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review for Dominic from Safelite I couldn’t be more impressed with the service I received from Dominic at Safelite! He recently replaced the windshield on my 2023 Jeep Rubicon, and from start to finish, the experience was top-notch. Dominic was the definition of professionalism, showing up right on time, fully prepared, and with a calm, confident demeanor that immediately put me at ease. What truly stood out was his extreme attention to detail. He didn’t just install the glass, he took the time to carefully inspect every inch of the surrounding trim, cleaned the surfaces meticulously, and made sure everything was perfectly aligned and sealed. It’s clear he takes great pride in his work and treats every vehicle like his own. Dominic was also incredibly knowledgeable, answering all of my questions without hesitation. He walked me through the entire process, explained the curing time, and gave me solid advice on how to care for the new windshield in the first 24-48 hours. You can tell he knows his craft inside and out. It’s rare to find someone who’s not only skilled but also genuinely invested in delivering high-quality work. If you ever need glass work done and want it done right, ask for Dominic, you won’t be disappointed. Safelite is lucky to have him!

Had to rearrange my schedule to spend the night in ABQ so I could go to the Safelite since there isn't one where I live. After being bombarded by reminders from Safelite regarding my upcoming appointment, I arrive for my scheduled appointment only to be told that my windshield had not been ordered and they had no clue when it would arrive. It has been 3 weeks and I haven't heard anything. They sure want you to be there but what about their accountability? As a side note, when scheduling I selected the option to upgraded and pay extra (out of pocket) to get a (OEM) original manufacturer equipment equivalent windshield. The reason I did this is because the original windshield on my new car lasted 5 years but my last Safelite (OEE) original equipment equivalent didn't even make it 😞 9 MONTHS before needing to be replaced. Maybe just bad luck but I am guessing it isn't a good equivalent?

The technician who ultimately installed my window did a great job. But that was my 4th appointment. Very unsatisfied with the first 3. The 1st time a different technician said he didn’t have the right parts and they didn’t have them in stock. He said someone would call me back to reschedule. They didn’t. I waited 3 weeks and then called them and found out that they had instead canceled my appointment and nobody was ever going to call me back. They canceled the 2nd appointment but at least had the courtesy to call and let me know ahead of time. The excuse was they still didn’t have the right part, even though they had several weeks to get it after the 1st appointment. Nobody showed up for the 3rd appointment. Nobody let me know that they were not going to come. Nobody called to apologize for not showing up. Very poor service.

Do not use Safelight Auto Glass. I had 2 appointments for 2 separate vehicles (same brand), same time, same place. The Technician was friendly enough, he completed 1, but wasn't comfortable enough to do the 2nd, he didn't bring the the proper tools and I would have to bring that vehicle to the shop. He also told me that he would have the manager contact me that day. 3 days later I still haven't heard from the manager. On my 1st vehicle he broke the clip holding the side piece around the glass, telling me it was already broken. But don't worry, the other 2 clips will hold it in place. Also, he left left RTV on the glass and failed to put the water channel guides back in their proper position. In essence, not a happy customer!

I am very unsatisfied with my experience with this company. Despite speaking with several supervisors, including Victor and Alex, I was never contacted about my window replacement. This lack of communication has made an already difficult situation even worse. I expected better customer service and follow-up, especially after reaching out multiple times. It’s frustrating to see such a decline in customer care these days. I had high hopes for a smooth resolution but ended up feeling ignored and unsupported. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience, and I hope they can improve their communication and service in the future.
