EZ Auto Glass

Called and scheduled windshield replacement. The guy gave me appointment for 2 days later and said the repair will take 1.5 hours. I dropped of the car at 8:30 when they open. The guy told me he will need couple of hours. No problem so far, they could have been nicer and have better customer service, but im here for repair not for welcomes and thankyous. When i dropped off the car the guy told me he will need couple of hours (not the 1.5 promised) which i was okay with, and told him i need the car done by 4. For which he said it will be. I call at 11 (2.5 hours after dropping off), he asked for another hour. No problem so far, i called and hour later. Now he is saying that he MIGHT be able to get it done by the end of the day. When asked for what reason he said “i think the windshield came damaged”. You think? You dont check the parts when they arrive? He told me that i can come pick up the car and we can do it another day. That means my broken windshield wasn’t even taken off. So what were you doing this whole time? I was the first customer through the door. No customer service. No regard for peoples time. No diligence in updating the customer on the status. No business ethics. No regard for peoples property. When i came to pick up my car, it was sitting in the lot with the key in (could have been stolen or battery could have drained) and windows wide open (could have had stuff stolen from inside) Long story short, taking my business to North Brunswick Auto Glass, who quoted me $75 cheaper and will be coming to my house for installation.

I had one great interaction and one that made me feel disrespected and unable to trust this location again. I was looking into window repairs for my double pane window. I just needed a new glass with grid and installation. I inquired about a few services and variations over the phone on Friday Aug 12, 2022. That morning, a male picked up but he wasn't familiar with the services and passed me over to a female employee was able to assist me and answer all my questions with kindness, along with giving me an estimate of $175 for the repair + installation as well as $150 for just the cut glass. I called back later that afternoon with a follow-up question, and Louie picked up this time and had me email a picture of my window to understand my situation. I once again asked for an estimate, just as a reminder, and he told me $200. I told him of my earlier estimate that morning, and with some annoyance he told me "why did you even call if you knew the answer." I tried asking him to explain the price breakdown to see if it was different and he wouldn't do that for me and instead told me I was wrong and that it is "$200, take it or leave it." I felt very disrespected from his responses and it was completely unwarranted. It felt targeted and I ended up not coming to EZ Auto Glass to get my services done. I don't appreciate the attitude, disrespect, and an upcharge just because I'm a female asking questions for clarification. Thank you to the kind female who assisted me that morning! I hope I never have to run into Louie again because that was very rude.

They got it done when I really needed a driver side window on short notice bc rain was coming for the next few days. EZ is a Family owned local business. I highly recommend if you need auto glass repaired. The ladies who work inside are awesome and the mechanics do a great job. Safelight told me to wait a whole week. EZ replaced my driver window and the regulator. I called my insurance company many times to make sure they were approving the charges. Don't let insurance companies take advantage of you. If you have glass coverage, and a door window breaks, a regulator is a necessary part and they should cover it. I called in the morning at 930am and by 1pm they had the parts available. It didn't take very long for the repair to be done. But they do need time to get the glass or parts on-site. My insurance said it was all approved but it wasn't until EZ put request in the system that we saw the approvals. Thank you EZ Auto Glass!

I do not recommend this place I would look elsewhere. Someone recommended it to me and I should not have listened. Not only was Michelle the front desk person nasty and lied to me about the price. I still got the service done there since I went out of my way to go there for the appointment.. I got four estimates prior to going to easy glass repair and they were the highest but I chose to go there because it was recommended. as a first time customer I was not treated in a friendly manner when I arrived for that appointment. I had damage around the windshield roof with many scratches that I never had before. They were not that clean because I had dirt marks of fingerprints all around the upholstery around the windshield inside my car as well as my wipers were not working properly when I picked up the car . when I message them, they would not respond. I would find somewhere else to get a windshield installed.

If only I could give zero stars.... This company does not return calls at all. Has long wait times when calling them. After waiting a week for a call back I was able to schedule a technician to come in to measure curved table top for glass cover at 8:30 AM. No show. Called rep said she spoke to technician and they couldn't come today and the tech didn't know anything about it. Terrible customer service. Try another company unless this sounds like a fun way to spend your time. Update late (like the service). Weeks later got call back and finally was successful in completing the purchase. Tech who delivered glass very helpful. Raised rating from 1 star to 2 stars.

Windshield repaired Had a big rock hit my windshield and make a chip about the size of a 10 cents, to the touch it was clear you can feel some glass missing upper layer, underneath layers showing a slight bubble damage, what I'm trying to say... this had the potential of growing all over the glass. Service was quick, staff was nice (over phone and in person), explained the risk, and what to expect. After about 40 minutes, the windshield was fixed, the size and look of chip clearly reduced, and all I care, is that it does not crack further, so I call this a big success. For sure they are professionals :)

Top notch service! Called in the morning and spoke with Michelle who was a pleasure to speak and work with. Michelle ordered my windshield and Louie called me later that day to advised the windshield had arrived, and that he could fit the appointment in same day. We picked up the car before closing and met Louie and Ernie the owner. Louie gave us instructions to ensure the glass sets right over next 48 hours. Everyone that I spoke with either on the phone or when I was at the shop for drop off and pick up were so nice and helpful. Louie called me back with a price and then again when the glass was delivered so that we could set up an appointment. The work was done quickly and efficiently. And the price was very fair. These guys are the best around. We have used them for years and years. They have been able to do things no one else could. They replaced glass on a few antiques that were tricky and it turned out fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for glass replacement.
