We had a very good experience with East Brunswick Safelite. We had to come earlier than scheduled as having medical appointment late of the morning. Even though they were able to accommodate us and our windshield was replaced in no time. The service was great, everybody was so nice and courageous. The office and waiting room were clean and inviting. Nelson did a great job and our new windshield looks better than new. Brat, his boss has a very good sense of humor and very friendly. Thanks Safelite for saving our day!

Absolutely horrible! My windshield had a huge crack in it and I scheduled an appointment to get it repaired. The incident happened on Tuesday and the earliest they could come was Saturday Morning; so I booked the appointment for Saturday 8:30am - 1:30pm. On Saturday, I prepared my car to be serviced on by Providing a 10×10 tent over the car to shield it from the sun and potential rain. My car was parked at my works public parking lot so I waited with my vehicle since it was unlocked, with the keys, in a not 100% safe location. From 8:30 - 1:30 I did not receive a single message stating where they are or how long it would take. I had to call, several times, to find out where they are; But all I got was an unhelpful AI generated call center who would NOT transfer me to a human. After trying a different number on safelites website, I finally got a human who actually helped me. Her name is Chrissy and she was incredible. Christy tried 4 different numbers in her company and none of them responded. So she called the shop directly and told them to call me. At 2:20, Michael, the technician called me and said he was at a call just before mine and he would be finished in 1hour and 30minutes from now. So I was stuck, waiting for 8 HOURS with my vehicle when finally, at 4pm, Michael showed up. Michael performed his job and did an incredible job. Huge shout out to Michael and Chrissy who helped me through out this horrible situation. I was unbelievably irritated and frustrated with everything. When you think of windshield repair, you think of Safelite. Your marketing is everywhere and it paints a great picture of your company. But this proves you can't judge a book by its cover. I will not use this company again and I will not recommend this company to anyone.

Outstanding Service at Safelite AutoGlass – East Brunswick, NJ Today I had an incredible experience at Safelite AutoGlass in East Brunswick. My rearview mirror on my Toyota Camry had fallen off, and after not finding any clear service options on their website, I used their chatbot. The bot suggested I walk into the store to get help. I was a bit hesitant since I went around noon (right in the middle of lunch hour), but I decided to give it a shot. To my surprise, the gentleman at the front window was extremely helpful. Even though he mentioned they don’t normally handle rearview mirror repairs, he didn’t just send me away. He stepped out of his office and walked with me to my car. He explained exactly how I could fix it myself and told me what kind of adhesive to buy. As if that wasn’t generous enough, another team member overheard and kindly offered to fix it for me once he finished his current task. I waited no more than 15 minutes, and just like that, my mirror was securely reattached. The most amazing part? They didn’t charge me a cent. Yes, it was completely free. In a world where customer service often feels rushed or transactional, the employees at this location went above and beyond—demonstrating genuine kindness, professionalism, and passion for their work. I’m beyond grateful and HIGHLY recommend Safelite in East Brunswick. These are the kind of good-hearted professionals you want to do business with.

I recently had a windshield replacement done on my Jeep Gladiator, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service. From start to finish, the experience was professional, efficient, and exactly as promised. My technician, Brian, was excellent. He called me two hours before my scheduled service window to check if I was available earlier. Although I wasn’t able to meet him before the scheduled time, he was completely understanding and friendly, which I really appreciated. When he arrived within the scheduled window, he worked neatly and efficiently, completing the replacement in about one hour. He also took the time to explain that the replacement glass being used was not the original Gorilla Glass that came with my Jeep but rather a standard OEM glass. I really appreciated his transparency, as it allowed us to make an informed decision. Ultimately, we opted to go with the OEM glass, and the installation was flawless. Overall, the service was timely, professional, and well-executed, and I would definitely use them again for any future repairs. Highly recommend!

I recently had my windshield replaced by this Safelite location. While the windshield replacement itself went smoothly, I was really disappointed by what happened with the trim afterward. The tech put the trim back on even though all the clips were broken. He didn’t mention this issue, even though it was something I could see clearly—and I’m not a professional. One of the trim pieces came off on the highway, and it was a close call. It could have easily flown off completely, potentially causing an accident or damage to another vehicle. I would have been held liable if that had happened, not Safelite. This felt like a serious safety issue and one that could have been avoided with better training or communication from the technician. While I appreciate that they cover the cost of materials, Safelite needs to do better in training their techs on proper reinstallation and safety standards. This was not the experience I expected, and I hope they improve their standards to avoid putting others at risk.

Our Subaru Impreza had a cracked windshield and scheduled the appointment through their website. Our car insurance directed it to their website so it was very easy to get this repaired. Since we have the eyesight, it also needed calibration of the cameras. If it wasn't for the insurance id be looking at 1300. Got there early and waited instead of leaving. The waiting area has multiple chairs, big windows overlooking a Chick-fil-A just being built. They have a TV, Free WiFi and coffee/tea. The job was completed in about 2.5 hours and the Technician Michael went over the warranty, dos and don'ts with the new windshield and was knowledgeable on the questions I had. I reinstalled my dashcam and started to leave when I noticed the eyesight warning ⚠️ was on. Michael came out to inspect and found the wire was in the way of the camera. Had a good laugh at my error. In all would definitely recommend Safelite for your auto Glass replacement.

Saw an ad during a Yankees game that mentioned payment options. Went to their website, and found it super-ez to navigate. Along with After Pay payment options (which I use for other purchases), there was a good deal offered on their Premium windshield option. Scheduling was really simple, communication from their scheduling service and the actual installer was exceptional. The installer came during the time slot I chose, was in uniform, well-groomed, explained the process clearly, and then did a terrific job replacing my old windshield, including re-affixing my new NJ DMV Inspection sticker, EZ-Pass windshield device, and my Handicap and parking placards back on the rear-view mirror. All-in-all, a very professional job and overall a very positive experience. I highly recommend Safelite!

I know a lot of people are probably appreciative to this company because they can come fix your window when you’re in a jam but the pricing is an absolute scam. I made an appointment 3 days out when my window broke and they quoted me almost $900 dollars. Called around and found a well reviewed place who said they’d do it for $500+tax. When I cancelled my appointment with Safelite they instantly offered me $100 off if I kept the appointment. Talk about a scam. Still $200 more than what I ended up spending and the other people did a great job. Stop trying to scam people with terrible prices just because you’re a mainstream and easy to access company.Price assessmentOverpriced

I had a very positive experience having my windshield replaced at the East Brunswick Safelite location. I was able to walk in and get an immediate quota on an OEM and after market windshield and the individual also provided guidance on next steps as far as engaging with my insurance company. Once I received approval from my insurance the process of booking an appointment was super easy and I found Ebony great to work with. Very professional, courteous and thorough. My appointment time was honored and they had me in/out in less than the estimated time that they initially quoted me. Overall, a very positive experience and certainly someplace I would return.

I tried calling your office twice to find out if you have a particular windshield in stock. Your auto-response phone operator is absolute crap, and I couldn't get around it to speak to a human about my question. Resposes like "other" or "continue" did not lead me anywhere. Your website didn't give me the answer I needed, and was the reason I called. If you tell me it's company mandated, then install a new phone line. Trash your automated operating system, and hire real people (they tend to come with blood and a soul) for customer service. Kthxbye.
