Alpha JL Auto Glass

This is a classic case of you get what you pay for. Alpha Auto glass had the lowest price to replace the windshield on my ‘18 Panamera. I do appreciate the fact that they can come out to your location and the guys that worked on my car were great to work with, knowledgeable, and efficient. After installation, I got 2 error messages on my dash - High Beam assist not available and Driver Light control error. I called to inform them of this and the guys came back out to take a look at it. The guys (and the owner) told me that the calibration / resetting for these sensors has to be done with a special machine usually found at Porsche repair shops. I was instructed to go and find a dealership to do this for me (on my own time..). Over the last several months, I have visited several speciality repair shops who have worked directly with Porsche to try to get the calibration done. Multiple specialists have tried their best and ultimately all come to the same conclusion - the windshield glass that was placed is low quality and has a tint to it that doesn’t allow the sensors to work correctly. I wanted to give Alpha Auto glass the benefit of the doubt - so I didn’t just want to get 1 opinion which is why I made the effort to take my own time to get the advice and recommendation of several Porsche repair shops. When I reached back out to the owner, Anthony, he gave me the run around saying something about the rain sensor and how that might be causing the headlight issue - which is completely wrong. He refused to accept that multiple Porsche repair shops said it was his glass that was the problem. He refused to be accountable to a problem he created - ultimately saying I should have known it’s a third party glass and there may be problems. I don’t expect problems to never arise, but the best businesses and owners hold themselves accountable to make things right no matter what - not leave clients with more problems and out thousands of dollars. I would not recommend this vendor for your windshield repair. It may turn out ok, and you may have saved some money, but for those who have issues, be prepared to get the cold shoulder. So why even risk it when you can get the work done correctly from an authorized shop? Never again.

I inquired about getting a new windshield on a Friday evening at 7:30pm, and had a new windshield on my car less than 15 hours later. I wasn’t even in NJ! I had work up in NY and these guys were even able to take the trip to meet me there. Took them about a half hour to make the swap and the work is clean. Looking through a brand new windshield on the drive home was pretty cool! Crystal clear, I’ve never been behind a windshield with 0 miles on it before this. It’s noticeable and really nice. I’d rather support a small company instead of a national brand that shoves commercials with jingles down my throat each day. And in the end, without any of the added fees or forced recalibration, I saved a good amount of money by going to these guys. They did solid work, put on a (seemingly) good piece of glass onto my car, and got rid of the old windshield for me. All within just a few hours of reaching out to them via text, which is another plus. No need for even a single phone call, all of our communication was over text, quick and painless all around. You can’t really ask for more than that. And if you think of more to ask for, screw it and try asking anyway. These guys might just say yes. They drove over an hour each way for me today. If you’re reading this, they earned your business, I promise.

Words can't describe how amazing this company is and how they treat their customers. I've been using company this company for well over 10 years. Luis (Big Boss :)) is the best. I call in all different times and give him all different places for him to go. The answer is always. No problem. I'll be there in an 1 hour or we schedule a date and time, and he'salways there on time. A few times I called Luis because I had an emergency. He stop his guys and sent them to me right away so they can help me out. Alpha JL Auto Glass work in flawless. I had them change between 30 and 60 different glasses over the years. ( I work for a big company with a lot of people and cars) And not one time did anyone have a leak or a problem with there windshield installation. They are very reasonable with there prices. And there window technician Jose. TOP NOTCH. There is no windshield that he can't do. Trust me people. You won't be disappointed. Fantastic company. Incredible employees. Great quality of work. I'd highly recommend Alpha JL auto glass to anyone who needs a windshield replaced on a fly. A big peddle hit my windshield out of nowhere when I was on highway 287 around 3 pm yesterday. It was probably from the big truck ahead of me. The crack started to show up an hour later and cracked more when I drove home. I went online after 5 pm and contacted three websites for a quote. This is the only company that reached out within two hours and can send a mobile tech out the next day. The installer showed up as promised and got the job done in half hour. I am very grateful for a hassle free transaction in a timely fashion. I highly recommend it! A++ Ps. Their fee is not the lowest but still reasonable. This is is a family business that cherish their name; not a middleman website that take a booking and send a contractor by random. Good communication and keep their words. 👍🏻👍🏻

I usually don’t write reviews but I was recommended by a friend to Alpha auto they were not the cheapest but they were not the highest either in terms of price. A friend told me they do amazing work. I have a 2022 Tesla model Y so yes I was skeptical at first, Made an appointment I had the choice to take my vehicle to the shop or free mobile service, I Figured it would be better to be home rather then wait at a shop which was very convenient. Long story short I watched for about 5 minutes and right away I knew I was in good hands. It’s been about a month now, I wanted to wait to see if I had any issues before writing a review. Everything was amazing, the techs were very nice and clean no issues whatsoever. I will definitely recommend this company 100 percent. Jose was great at communicating, and was very respectful & reasonable. I texted him about my broken windshield on my Tesla Model 3 & he immediately texted back. Gave me a solid price, explained me everything over the phone, even helped me start a claim with State Farm. He was able to get everything done in literally 2 days. He even informed me that my windshield was replaced if I didnt know already & it might have had a water leaks before repairing it. I dropped my car & in literally 3 hours it was done. The windshield was OEM. No games or lies like other Auto Glass repair companies. Just honestly. Definitely coming back if I ever have problems with my windshield or glass.

BEWARE!!! They do a bad job; they replaced my front door glass for Lexus RX 350, last year in August 2023, and glass went tilted inside the door yesterday. When I called and asked them for help, they blamed the regulator fault and hung up on me, later when called I said "I wanted to inform you that I will be taking the matter to Lexus for a thorough analysis. Should it be determined that the fault lies with your company during the glass replacement, I will proceed with sending a formal legal notice." this is critical and could major problems as accidents / theft, front desk said do whatever I want to do. They dont care, such a bad service.!!

Jose is one of the best. I called on a Thursday morning to get prices on my passenger side window that someone cracked, trying to break into my car. And on Friday morning he came to me and fixed it within 30 minutes. He even noticed that my windshield was replaced before. He really knows his stuff. The price was great and I’d rather support a small business versus an overpriced national brand any day. I would definitely call him again for any car window needs.
