Fas-Break Auto Glass Service

Family in town for 24 hours, and a rock caused a crack in their windshield on passenger side yesterday. The big glass places in Omaha couldn't help us for 4 days. Called Fas-Break, and Luke called back a few minutes later. He showed up at the house 10 minutes later. Another 45 minutes later, and he had the crack repaired! He did such a good job, that you can barely see the crack now! Very knowledgeable, personable, & trustworthy. Would call Luke & Fas-Break next time we need a window repaired for sure!

I used to live in Cedar Bluffs and worked in Fremont. My family and I were accustom to rock chips in our windshields. Thankfully, Fas-Break Auto Glass has always been there to help us with the chip repairs and windshield replacements. I appreciate how Fas-Break takes such good care of their customers. They take the headache out of windshield repairs by fast and convenient service at their shop or your workplace. They also take care of the insurance claims. This service saved me so much time over the years. A few years ago I moved to Omaha so you can imagine my dismay when we had to replace the back window of our Nova. I didn’t know anyone in Omaha that I felt I could trust and how much time would I have to take off of work to get this accomplished? I took a change and called Shannon at Fas-Break. I told him we found a back window for the Nova on EBay and he said he could install it for us. You see, Fas-Break comes to Omaha at least once a week. What a relief! The window came in on a Thursday, the window was installed that Friday and it took less than an hour to install. I’m so thankful for the fast and reliable service of Fas-Break and so happy I can use the company that I’ve trusted for so many year. Thank you Fas-Break!

I've personally used Fas-Break on two of my vehicles and now they do repairs/replacement for my employer too. Nearly 10 years ago, Shannon and crew installed both front/back glass on my 54 Chevy. Old school install, setting stainless trim in rubber gasket and pulling over metal lip with a heavy string line. 4 years ago, took a big rock to the drivers side. Not repairable, but Shannon found a non-tinted (like I wanted) replacement and expertly installed it. I trusted him with my special car and he did not disappoint. He has replaced my daily driver's cracked windshield, then twice saved the new one by working their magic on those dang rock chips. They come to my work 30 miles from Fremont for employer's trucks. Does them right in the parking lot. We used to have one of those national chains. Shannon was persistent in explaining his product and pricing being a benefit to my employer. So now we are with Fas-Break there too.

We contacted Fas-Break after my husband's windshield had a chip in it. They came out, reassured us that it was a surface issue and didn't need to fill it as it would not spread. At the time we thought this sounded strange since it felt and looked pretty deep but, how nice to not take advantage of us! A short while later the "surface scrape" ended up spreading and splitting my husband's windshield completely across the bottom. We contacted them directly once it had happened to see what they could do to resolve the situation and were met with the comment that it was unfortunate that it happened and if they fixed all of those they would be doing everyone a disservice. Disservice to fix people's windshields when they call? If they weren't interested in fixing I wish they would have said that and we could have gone somewhere else!

Fas Break is one of the most friendly reliable companies I have ever dealt with. I recently had a rock chip in my windshield and I called them right away. They were able to help me, less than 24 hours after the chip happened. Brandon was an amazing help! He came to my job and was extremely professional and answered all questions I had. He even was able to help another person with my company, who had questions about his own windshield! He even talked about the company and how working for Shannon Smith, his boss, and this company has changed his life and he was forever grateful. You know you are working with a reputable company when their employees feel this way about their boss and the company. I have always and will continue to recommend Fas Break to anyone that needs it.

Responding to a negative review was something I believed I would never need to do but, here we go! The complaint was that Fas-Break chose not to repair a blemish in a windshield. The blemish was only "surface damage", the kind that looks like a sand blasted windshield. The real problem we generally find is with the quality or brand of the glass that had been installed. Consumers have basically 3 choices of glass, OE (good), OEM (oftentimes better) and Lessor Quality Aftermarket (worst choice). It saddens me to see unsuspecting consumers be set up for failure. I'm sorry for the misfortune incurred, but I stand by my original decision. The BBB complaint was answered and closed. Fas-Break has maintained an A+ rating with the BBB since May 03, 2010

I had recently had my windshield replaced and they had done an amazing job. Later that week I had been driving down the road and a rock had chip my new windshield. My insurance company had told me over the phone that I would have to pay out of my own pocket for the repairs even though I had full coverage. So I stopped in to fast Break to get a quote and they had told me that the agent had been lying to me and I should get it repaired at no charge to me. They had called my agent on my behalf and the agent had said a completely different thing. Fast break is a great company and really cares about their customers. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs a window replacement or repair, they always do an amazing job

I was more than pleased with my experience with Fas-Break. The entire process was smooth and stress-free. Brandon did an amazing job of coming to fix my windshield at my place of employment so I didn't have to take off work. He was on time, very informative and took the time to answer all my questions, and performed great work. My windshield looks amazing! This is the second time that I have used Fas-Break and both were great experiences. Today I noticed a chip in the windshield and drove to Fas-Break. Shannon looked at it and asked me a few questions and began working on it immediately. They worked with my insurance company and had me out the door in forty-five minutes. It would have been faster, but he found two other chips and fixed them as well. Great service, with a friendly welcoming attitude. I felt that Shannon wanted it to look new, as much as I did. The best part is that I can't find the three chips now that he fixed it. Thank you Shannon.

Fast and friendly says it all about Shannon Smith and his Fas-Break Auto Glass Business. When our son had a chip in his front window they were willing to meet him at an appointment he had out-of-town and repair the chip at that location. Recently, due to the cold weather the windshield on one of our vehicles cracked. Shannon picked the car up at our home, repaired it the same day and it was a fraction of the cost that we were quoted by a dealership. I highly recommend Fas-Break Fremont! Thanks Shannon!
