Butler Auto Glass Service LLC

We called the shop to have a new windshield of our Toyota Prius put in on short notice. They came and installed the windshield. We immediately started having error messages show up, so we called. He said we had to go and have the windshield recalibrated at Toyota. This was never mentioned earlier. On top of that, they neglected to transfer a camera heating element part from the old windshield to the new windshield which actualky caused the error. So we had to spend $200 extra with the third party to purchase and install the part. I called the owner and he said, 1) they throw away their old windshields immediately so there was no chance of recovering the part, 2) he never heard of a camera heating element, 3)spent most of his time defending that either he told us these things beforehand, which he did not and 4) never offered to reimburse us or correct the problem at his expense.

I had a service done by butler auto glass. The job was done fine. However, the service person told me that he only accepts cash or Venmo, but he will send me a receipt upon job is done. I gave them my email address but got no receipt. I called to ask for a receipt. They told me first that they will send me a receipt in a week. After a week, I asked again and now they told me that they can only send me a work order but no receipt. I think their business practice is rather shaky. Edited on June 7, 2022 I requested invoice in advance for insurance claim. After complained to Minnesota Attorney General, and maybe my bad review at Google, I did receive an invoice eventually. DONT GIVE THIS GUY ANY BUSINESS If I could give this Malik guy less then one star I would he took out my old damaged window in my parking lot and left glass everywhere I have a 2 year old son and they’re are at least 15 kids that play around our townhouse there was so much glass left on my back seat they put a blanket over it I was in shock when I pulled up the blanket on top of everything it’s taken me 2 plus hours to clean my parking lot (not just parking spot) to where I feel comfortable for kids to run around. He also has the worst customer service I have ever experienced and it was the most unprofessional way I was talked to and treated as an un satisfied customer

Amazing service and price. I couldn’t be happier, Highly recommend!! The glass was crystal clear I felt like there wasn’t a windshield at all! They were on time, very accommodating (because it was snowing and I didn’t have a garage) so they picked the van up from my house, brought it to shelter, did the repair, and returned the van to me, for no extra charge. They followed up a week later to make sure everything was okay. And reminded me they warranty all of their work so I could rest assured, They really went above and beyond, I have so happy with the service. These guys know what they are doing and I highly recommend their service. I had a positive experience with Butler Auto Glass. Malik was very nice and informative. I have an older, foreign vehicle and was replacing my back glass with a part I had sourced. He made sure to install it correctly and informed me of what steps he was taking while I observed his work. He serviced my car on the street and accommodated my financial need to repurpose used parts. I feel good about the installation and would recommend his services.

Great service, competitive price, and friendly and professional owner/installer. Malik was great! He took the time to clean the inside of my car very well, no glass was left anywhere. There wasn’t any mess leftover in the parking lot of my apartment building and you can’t beat the price! About $200 cheaper than safelite. It was my pleasure to support this small business. Will recomend to any family or friends.

Having my Toyota Echos windshield replaced today was a breeze. Nice, honest guy who does beautiful work. Timely yet took the time to properly prep and fit everything so I feel safe on the roads. Also, way cheaper than any big company around. Will definitely recommend to friends & family!
