Advantage Auto Glass

After the first rapid temperature drop and ice storm of the season, *snap*, there went my front windshield. I called Advantage Auto Glass because they are family-owned, and located nearby. I set up an appointment to visit because I'd feel guilty having a tech work on it outdoors in these temperatures. The process was quick and smooth from start to finish, including the 3-way call with my insurance company. Everyone there was friendly and accommodating, and they did a great job. I highly recommend them! Just note that their street address makes it appear they are located on Travelers Trail a block south of Highway 13. But in fact they are located facing Highway 13, just east of the Portland intersection (directly across Hwy 13 from the high school). See the attached aerial photo. Unfortunately, the city of Burnsville prohibits small businesses from using proper signage that you need to you locate them easier.

I reached out to Advantage Auto Glass Repair, and I worked with Tiffany. She was able to get me a quote that was manageable. She was very courteous and empathetic to my situation. I had my window shattered by some thieves. She was able to get me a privacy glass for my car. She dispatched Mike, who replaced my window onsite. It saved me so much time and headache. Advantage is by far THE BEST in the business at auto glass repair and/or replacement. Any and all questions answered. They come to you, wherever you are, for replacements. Quick insurance process, ASAP scheduling, and they work for the convenience and approval of the customer. Personally, when needed, I have worked several times with Dan Pregler, and he does a stand-out job every time. Punctual, kind, and very efficient. I travel a lot and have had many windshields replaced over the past 10 years or so. I think this one today is #7/8, and I use Advantage every time. If you need any auto glass replaced, without question, Advantage Auto Glass is the ONLY way to go. A+ across the board. As expected, another great job guys! Skip Safelite and come here. Seriously so overcharged. I got quoted $500+ for after market parts, and $300 for OEM for my Toyota Corolla 2011 to fix a passenger back window through them. Then they cancelled my appointment. Then I scrambled to find a place and finally I found this place. I was quoted $300 but it ended up being only $225 after tax for aftermarket. Nice! The process was smooth. Receptionist was great (I have called multiple times for questions I have had before and after.) Fixing the window took 30 minutes at most, and they vacuumed and clean up the glass pieces left. If you need a reliable place, I highly recommend this place. I worked with Kirk, great guy and super simple. He'll take very good care of you and your car.

My wife's car (2015 Subaru Forrester) had this very annoying grinding rattle coming from the front of the vehicle. I thought that it was a loose windshield, so I brought it in. The experienced tech, Dan, took a detailed look at things and pointed out that the clip on the left side cowl panel had snapped off so the panel was loose, right by the windshield on the driver's side. He said the windshield looked perfect, and didn't charge me for his analysis. I took it home, found some super glue in my shop, and glued down the cowl panel, and the rattle disappeared. Just had Dan out to replace the windshield on my 2017 Escape. He is a true "old-school" master craftsman who takes great pride in doing the job right. There is no finer individual around when it comes to auto glass replacement. I've used Advantage twice now, both times because I wanted to be sure I got OE glass. Unlike some of the "other guys", Advantage understands that some of us want the best and they are very willing and able to work to meet the customer's needs. I normally don't write reviews but in this case, I cannot make a higher recommendation to anyone who needs autoglass replacement.

had a great experience from begining to end. I requested and email quote for a car window, and recieved one very same day not even an hour later. had a few questions that were answered also via email. I called to schedule, and was able to be taken care of within 2 days. Excellent work! They're on time, communicate well and they're prompt. I had them replace the glass in a rear passenger window. The office staff and my technician were great! Marcos the tech called me prior to the scheduled time to let me know he was on his way. He showed on time, was very nice and did a great job at a fair price. Hopefully I won't need to replace any more car glass but if I do I'll call these guys again. I highly recommend them!

These guys are awesome. When I called Tiffany walked me through the claim process in minutes. She was great to work with. The owner John was hands on with the tech to solve a problem with my older vehicles rain sensor. They went above and beyond my level of expectation, and really set themselves apart in terms of customer service. It was a most pleasant experience. My Ford Fusion was burglarized just before the Thanksgiving Holiday. The passenger side aft window was smashed out. I called Advantage and spoke to the Owner John. We were from out of the twin cites area. He was able to get the class and schedule the replacement on a short notice. It is without hesitation or reluctantly that I recommend Advantage Auto Glass.
