iDeal Auto Glass

We arrived into town after driving from Washington State - 1400 miles over two days, and just a couple hours outside of town (Alexandria) we had been hit by what I can only assume was a pterodactyl. We waited for an hour before being told no tow company could help us because we had 5 passengers. We got into town after midnight (Sunday night/Monday morning) and I was frantically searching for auto glass shops - no openings any sooner than 4 days out from the typical place I get referred to by my insurer. I sent a message to the website at iDeal as a last ditch attempt, and they texted me back!!! At 12:30am!! They haven’t even done the service for me yet - but after the day we had, just having a company go above and beyond, promising to do what they could to help (while not promising the moon just to get me to commit) really was just what was most needed. They were good people and helped me have a smile on my face in spite of the crazy day we had. Can’t recommend enough.

My experience with this company was superb. From the first friendly phone conversation to a call checking in on me when I was a bit late arriving to clearly explaining the promised service and pricing to accommodating my need for a ride to work when I turned in the car to doing an excellent job installing a new windshield, all interactions were pleasant and reassuring at every step. Awesome company! I called them based strictly on Yelp & Google reviews and made no further calls - their price was around 1/3 of what I anticipated to replace my huge minivan windshield. And they came to my house the day after! I didn't even bother filing a glass coverage claim. If you want to support a local small business that is WAY competitive on price and provides amazing service, call Carl! You can tell these guys are working owners working for honest wages, not exorbitant profits and to cover inflated overhead. Highly, highly recommend.

Very good experience, especially right before a holiday. Rock left a huge crack in windshield on Wednesday, Dec 20. Carl came out to my worksite, in a tight parking garage in downtown St. Paul, and changed AND calibrated the windshield onsite the very next day. Safelite was going to make me go to one of their shops because of the calibration piece. Worked with my insurance company even though he was not one of their approved vendors, and it was covered. I highly recommend. Please give your business to this local company.

Superb service from Carl and John. I found iDeal Auto Glass (Richfield) after doing a Google search. They had good reviews so I gave them a go. Within a few minutes of submitting an online form I received an email with an estimate to replace my windshield on site at my office in Eagan. Within a couple of business days, John installed a new windshield and for the exact price I was quoted. Very friendly people working here. This was an excellent experience for me. I highly recommend and I will use them again.

The service that i received from Ideal Auto glass was beyond amazing. I had my windshield replaced and they came to my work that was a huge plus. The customer service was great. Chris and Carl (the car guy) Are amazing! Excellent customer service, personable and friendly. They already knew how my specific insurance worked which saved me time. They were able to come and repair two windows the same day when everywhere else gave me dates that were days out. I called and left a message that I had a nick on my windshield that needed repair. The voicemail said that my call would be returned as they were either busy or on another call. At the same time, I got a text saying someone would get back to me. I waited a couple of hours and ultimately found another company that took care of it in a timely manner. It’s now the next day and I have yet to get a call.

Safelite WHO??? These fools had every excuse in the world to include "The dog ate your Mopar windshield " and tried to put an aftermarket windshield on my Rubicon. Thats when I found ideal Auto Glass. Carl is THE MAN!! He took good care of Blaque Widow and cleaned up mess from previous installers too!! Im a lifer, no need to look an further ever again!

The most handsome guys in the auto glass industry! But seriously, dealing with car stuff as a woman who knows nothing, I always worry about being disrespected or taken advantage of. These guys are awesome, so kind, helpful, great service and very responsive. While I hope my windshield doesn't break again anytime soon, if it does I'll call them up!
