Do NOT use this Safelite AutoGlass for any glass replacement. I recently submitted a claim to my auto insurance company, USAA, to replace a shattered rear windshield on my 2011 BMW 328xi and was connected with Safelite to make the repair. On November 27, 2024, a Safelite auto glass installation technician named Matt came to my home from this location to replace the windshield. Before he began the repair, I informed him he would need to tape off the inside rear of the vehicle with plastic to prevent glass from getting on the seats and into the rear defroster vent, which he said he would do. I then left him in my detached garage to perform the repair and asked him to call me if there were any issues. About an hour and a half later, Matt texted me and said he was finishing up the repair, so I went out to my garage to speak with him and inspect his work. I immediately noticed that the rear brake light, which attaches to the upper portion of the windshield, was off center by nearly an inch and not reconnected, and that there were hundreds of shards of glass inside the rear defroster vent, which is nearly impossible to access with the windshield in place. Matt then told me he had broken the clips that hold the brake light in position and would have to order the parts and return to fix it. I informed him that he also needed to remove the shards of glass from the rear defroster vent, which he said he would do when he returned, even if that meant removing the new glass he installed to access the vent. Five minutes after he left, I notice scuff marks on the otherwise immaculate black leather rear seats and a nearly two-inch gash in one of them, which I immediately photographed for evidence. I also found out when I opened the trunk that it was completely riddled with hundreds of glass chunks, which demonstrates that he did not tape off the inside rear of the vehicle or the trunk as he told me he would. I then captured a five-minute video showing all of the direct damage he caused to my vehicle and texted him a photo of the gash he caused in the seat, probably from compressing his knee or foot on a shard of glass. When he answered my text, all he said was, "I'll pass it on." When I asked him what he meant, he responded, "I let the manager know what's going on. They most likely won't be able to do anything about it until the job is done." Between December 5 and 9, I reached out to Matt three times to ask when he was going to complete the job, but he ignored my text messages. At that point, I called USAA and told them about the situation, and they connected me with the USAA representative at Safelite Customer Service, Sarah Morris, who was extremely apologetic about how Matt treated me as a longtime USAA member and a Safelite customer. She was so horrified at hearing about my experience, she sent me a $100.00 courtesy check for my inconvenience. I also contacted this Safelite location and spoke with Latrice Thurmond, who was unaware of my situation as Matt never communicated my problems or experience to the office staff, even after telling me he did. Both Sarah and Latrice asked me to submit to them via email all of my text messages with Matt and photos and video of the direct damage he caused to my vehicle, which I did immediately on December 10. When I spoke with Latrice on the phone, she asked me to submit to her two estimates for the seat repair and told me Safelite would pay for the work. On December 30, I submitted an estimate, gave her the contact information of the gentleman who agreed to do the repair, and asked when Safelite was going to complete the repairs to my vehicle. To this day, neither Sarah nor Latrice has responded to any of my emails, and it has become obvious that they are going to ignore me until I bring a lawsuit against them for direct damages and breach of contract. If you are considering using this Safelite location, or any Safelite for that matter, to repair your vehicle, I strongly advise against doing so. Absolutely shameful company.

I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THE QUALITY, KINDNESS AND SKILL OF EVERYONE AT THIS SAFELITE LOCATION!! SOMEONE HAD BUSTED OUT MY PASSENGER FRONT WINDOW, AND MY CAR WAS FILLED WITH GLASS AND I HAD TO DRIVE WITHOUT A WINDOW FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS. IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT AS THE WEATHER GOT COLDER. WHEN I WALKED IN, I WAS GREETED WITH KINDNESS AND CONCERN FOR MYSELF AND MY SITUATION. THE FACILITY WAS VERY CLEAN AND HAD A NICE WAITING ROOM. THE WEBSITE IS VERY EASY TO USE, AND I WAS ABLE TO MAKE A NEXT DAY APPOINTMENT ONLINE WHICH WAS VERY HELPFUL. THE SERVICE MANAGER CAME OUT TO GO OVER THE SERVICE THAT I HAD REQUESTED, AND TO LET ME KNOW THAT IT WOULD BE APPROXIMATELY 2 HOURS TO FIX, WHICH WAS NOT A SURPRISE TO ME. THEY HELD TO THEIR WORD AND KEPT TO THEIR TIMELINE. THEY PUT A NEW WINDOW IN, VACUUMED OUT THE GLASS, PUT A RAIN TREATMENT ON MY WINDSHIELD AND INSTALLED NEW WIPERS. THEY ALSO CLEANED ALL MY WINDOWS. THE SERVICE MANAGER PERSONALLY CAME OUT AND LET ME KNOW THAT IT WAS FINISHED AND THE WINDOW WAS WORKING WITH NO PROBLEMS. HE ALSO LET ME KNOW THAT THEY HAD VACUUMED OUT THE GLASS INSIDE THE DOOR AND MY CAR, BUT THAT IF I HAD ANY ISSUES, PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO BRING IT BACK. HE WAS VERY KIND AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. WHEN I GOT INTO MY CAR A SMALL CHEERFUL PLACARD WAS ON MY DASHBOARD WHICH SAID "GOOD TO GO!" I WAS SO HAPPY AND THANKFUL THAT MY CAR HAD A WINDOW IN THE GLASS WAS GONE FROM INSIDE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS SAFELITE LOCATION FOR REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY WINDOW IN YOUR CAR! THE PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE, AND THE SERVICE AND PERSONNEL ARE EXCELLENT‼️💯➕ ✨🚘

I'm writing this as I'm sitting in the lobby for my 2nd time today. The 1st service was quick, maybe too quick. (They replaced the driver's door window on my truck.) The technician assured me he tested the function of the window and everything was working as it should. When I got in my vehicle I also tested it, seemed okay but not necessarily perfect but I was going to roll with it. I'm the guy that has my window down year round, even if it's just a little I like having fresh air coming into the cab. On my way home I stopped to get some groceries, when I rolled the window up something seemed wrong. When I got back in my truck and rolled the window down I heard cracking inside the door and the window stopped functioning, I could hear the motor but no movement happening. I had to hold my window up with my left hand to get back to my house, drop my groceries off and head back to there shop (20 minutes away) again holding the window up as it's 41° and raining today. I've been sitting here for an hour now and have zero updates. Needless to say I'm pissed off and will be getting my $ back when they finally fix my truck. Never again will I bring a vehicle here, complete waste of time. They also damaged the interior of my vehicle while removing the door panel. Pissed off doesn't even begin to describe how I'm feeling.

Overall, super job, and the least amount of effort and hassle I could have expected from my end! My passenger side window was replaced after a break-in, and it works just as well as the original. It did take the local shop extra time to order the correct replacement glass, but the original appointment only had to be pushed back a couple of days; they made the reschedule very easy with a quick call, no need to log back in. On-site staff was very helpful and took my car inside for an appointment the next morning even though I arrived close to closing time; I was ready to put a tarp in the door and use the drop box. I could tell the receptionist was on their way out for the evening, but they made sure everything was taken care of first - I would never have expected or demanded this of them, but it was VERY appreciated. Super clean job! No more loose glass rattling around inside the door either. The worst part was driving there with a missing window in subzero weather 😂

I had Safelite come out and replace the windshield on my 1995 Toyota Camry on 3/12 due to a crack in the top passenger side. It took them almost 5 hours to replace it. Another team even came to help. My headliner was damaged in the replacement process. And when they were putting the chrome weatherstripping back (which I marked it had chrome weatherstripping on the work order) the weatherstripping wouldn’t seal the glass properly. The technician Lida said they will have a manager call me to discuss getting the headliner repaired and new weatherstripping ordered since they put the old ones on. The very next day, there was a crack on it on the driver’s side down by the wipers. I never heard from management and I can’t get a hold of anybody to talk to about getting the proper parts ordered before they warranty replace this windshield. I watched the crack grow by over 2 inches while I was driving today.

Just wanted to give kudos to this Safelite Autoglass business in SE Mpls. I had dealings with office personnel over the phone and with two different techs in person at my location. All of them were friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and good communicators. I had to have two appointments due to the first glass being warped, but each time, I was initially given notice of a 4/5 hour block of time on a particular day when discussing things on the phone, followed up by a note via text/email. Then, the day of the appointment, I was given an update with a closer approximation of when the tech would arrive. Everyone was pleasant and professional. Although I was stressed and not happy to have my car burgled, I actually enjoyed the interactions with this group of people, and feel that they can be relied upon to do a good job in an unpleasant situation!

They are the worst company to deal with and shouldn’t be in business. I would recommend anyone to look for else where. My glass was broken and I had to wait their services for one day. They won’t tell you when they will arrive and expect you to be there at anytime. Fast forward this dude “ Bandhit ”called me on his way and when I got there he left . I called him to find out where he was at and he immediately said, I was waiting for you 20 minutes which was lie and he left. I was at my vehicle the whole time. I wish I could rate this company zero . Don’t waste your time and money on them. It’s better you go somewhere else where you feel treated better. Their customer service is horrible. Worst experience I ever encountered with them and I will never ever contact them again for any help.

I recently had my vehicle’s window repaired and was extremely impressed by the outstanding customer service I received. From the moment I arrived, the staff was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. They clearly explained the repair process, provided a fair estimate, and completed the job faster than expected. Not only was the quality of the repair excellent, but they also took the time to clean up any glass and ensured everything was functioning properly before I left. It’s rare to find a business that combines great workmanship with such a friendly and respectful attitude toward their customers. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing auto glass repair. Thank you again for turning a frustrating situation into a smooth, positive experience!

Safelite broke one of my bolts and wasted my time. They left service unfinished, the technician didn't have the proper bits for his tool, he didn't use lubricant before trying to unbolt my glass, he stripped and then sheered off my bolts, he was very late. All round just a bad experience. The manager was a brick wall. Now I have to take time off work in the morning to take my car into the shop, and all they'll cover is the new bolt, no apology or compensation whatsoever. UPDATE: Still nothing. I've been calling every couple days and no progress has been made. Customer service comes last, and I'm just a nuisance.

My experience here was very nice. The lady who greeted me had a great sense of humor and made the whole experience easy and less stressful. As most people who come in aren't in the best of moods, considering glass needs to be replaced, she definitely made the mood better. After that, the service was extremely faster than I expected. Granted it will depend on your vehicle, and whose cars are being worked on, but they are very efficient. Lastly, my window hasn't had any problems, works just like it was new and was never broken. All in all, good place to get your windows replaced!
