When I called to get the initial estimate on the windshield replacement I was quoted $230, but they ended up putting in a more expensive piece of glass because that's what they had on hand and still honored the initial quote which was super cool. They were the cheapest and most reasonable I could find in the Hudson, WI area. Great service from Holden! He was able to meet me at home after I was done with work and do the replacement right in the driveway. He was running behind, but was still able to call ahead and check on my availability and let me know exactly when he'd arrive (I was also a somewhat last minute addition to his day I believe and him being late actually worked way better for me). Super nice and professional. It was a pleasure to have my windshield replaced by him! He was able to explain everything he did to my vehicle in a way I could easily understand as someone who's not super into cars. I was very impressed by the service provided by Abra Auto Midwest and couldn’t be happier with the results. I initially spoke with Edward who was so informative, efficient and professional getting everything set up for us. He worked directly with our insurance company and made it a pleasant experience. Our installer, Walker, was very prompt, professional and did an excellent job. He got them done quickly and we didn’t even have to leave our house. Because of the type of vehicles we had, we were able to get them done in our driveway. Called to have my rear window with power slider replaced due to the rear defroster shorting out and burning. I was scheduled an appointment the next morning despite calling the day before in the afternoon.. thanks Edward. Holden was great to work with, professional and got the part I needed which required someone going to Fridley to pick it up. The job was completed sooner than estimated and the quality of the work looks great. Being in customer service management, I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to be the recipient of outstanding customer service. Holden came to my home, at the tail end of a snow storm, to replace my windshield. He was on time, very detailed in his work and his communication. He went above and beyond and even addressed some smaller issues that I was not aware of. He triple checked his work and honestly just blew me away with his level of knowledge and professionalism. My insurance company had a hard time finding availability with shops who could perform the complex calibration needed when replacing my windshield. Abra had availability to get me in within 2 days. The process was so easy to drop my vehicle off the night before, after hours. They called when it was ready the next day, and ahead of schedule. In an era of Post-Covid disappointments in service and quality - Abra Auto Glass was a welcome surprise! Every single aspect of their service, from the initial contact, to the follow up/communication, the service tech and front room staff was outstanding. They were prompt, courteous, thorough and went well above and beyond their duties to make my experience great and memorable. Mark, the Glass technician was exceptional in every way. They even went out of their way to buff out some scratches on my truck - and I was just in for glass replacement!! Wow - they have a customer for life. The Baxter MN auto class is A+++++. Holdon was very professional and helpful for my Transit Connect windshield install. I was able to schedule service the day after I called to inquire. On top of doing a thorough job installing, he went above and beyond by cleaning and vacuuming out the whole front section of my car. I don’t do a lot of reviews but this time I had to. I have had my vehicle serviced a lot but out of all the service people I’ve had Holden Olson has been the best.
