Everything that could go wrong with our windshield replacement went wrong. Some of it was the fact that we have the newest model Tucson which caused some understandably unexpected issues. They quickly worked to rectify those issues but some of them were incredibly inconvenient. The tech broke the housing for the windshield sensor when he was removing it. They ordered a new one free of charge. He couldn’t recalibrate the windshield sensors at our house so we had to drive it to their Eden Prairie location 35 minutes away. We got it to the shop and they still couldn’t get the sensors to calibrate correctly with their standard windshield so they had to order one directly from Hyundai (also at no extra charge to us). We drove for a week with all the warning lights blinking until the new windshield came in. We then had to drive the 35 minutes back to the shop for installation & recalibration. They were friendly and apologetic for the inconvenience. They repaired everything with no extra charge to us. Because of that I gave them three stars. Otherwise I would’ve given them one star because the whole situation was such a frustrating hassle & major inconvenience.ServicesAuto windshield repair

2nd experience - Well, City Auto Glass is 2 for 2 now! A rear window on my vehicle was broken in an attempted theft and the first company that came to mind was City Auto Glass. Once again they delivered in ALL areas. Kind service over the phone when making the appointment, the service tech Travis was early for the appointment and he went above and beyond the call of duty and it was repaired/replaced in a very short time. In many cases they will come to you to do the work! I highly recommend them for the second time! Thanks City Auto Glass! 1st experience - My auto insurance company referred me to 2 local windshield repair companies. I called the first number, City Auto Glass and from start (making appointment) to finish (new windshield installed at my apartment building), everything was really excellent. Tino did the installation and was kind, friendly and professional. He even went out of his way, after he realized they gave him the wrong windshield, to get the right one and came back a short while later. It was more work than I realized and he breezed through it like a pro. I highly recommend this business for their great customer service and professionalism.

I’m glad I found them for replacing my rear passenger window. I was able to submit a estimate request online and they called me in about an hour and gave me a very reasonable price and also assisted me in booking a appointment for the following day. They even have the technicians come to your location! The next day I had the technician Aaron on time for the replacement. However, due to the rainy weather and not enough place in my garage, I drove their shop. Aaron did an amazing job in replacing the window and getting rid of broken glass shards. Aaron was pretty quick with the install. It just took less than 40 minutes. In the mean time, I was able to get the payment taken care of at the office with Jennifer’s help. Overall I’m satisfied with the entire experience from start to finish. I was traveling through Minneapolis from out of state, and needed to get a severely cracked windshield replaced on short notice. Constance from the St Paul location got on the phone with me and was able to get me an appointment quickly in Eden Prairie. The staff at Eden Prairie are awesome, very friendly and professional. The repair hit a snag through no fault of the business...it was a faulty part that we didn't identify until a new windshield had been installed. Rather than delay my trip or make my insurance reimbursement more complicated, City Glass just decided not to bill for the new windshield and sent me on my way (taking the loss all on themselves). Service and experience was great! When setting up the replacement, their customer service quickly set up an appointment for 2 days later and coordinated with my insurance company. On the service day technician, Roman, called letting me know when he was nearby, I went outside to unlock the car, and he completed the replacement quickly, locked the car, and text me that it was completed. It was great to go about my workday, and still get my windshield replaced. Lastly, while other companies have left marks in my headliner while replacing, I am happy to report that this replacement was without any marks. City Auto Glass contacted me promptly regarding my appointment and kept me informed every step of the way. There was a delay in getting the new windshield shipped so we rescheduled to fit my schedule. The work was done and the recalibration done there, so I did not have to make separate trip to the dealer. Insurance claim was seamless for me. I made a appointment, they ORDERED a factory windshield, for my Cadillac, SERVICE was scheduled WHEN the windshield came. Very professional installer came, windshield in and out, total time, was less than 1half hrs. No disappointments, xtra care given for the caddy. Office people know how to make the customers, really feel cared about, and that you have a company, you can trust. BY THE WAY, MY INSTALLER NAME WAS, ANDY, THE VERY BEST. They were able to get me in really quickly. They made it effortless with my insurance company. They were able to calibrate my cameras and everything else when they did the new windshield installation.
