If I could give a negative rating, I would. First: the scheduling process. I called 3 times on 3 separate days trying to get my windshield replaced. First time they said a mobile tech will call me with further details, a couple days went by so I called the second time...again a couple of days go by so I call the 3rd time. I speak with a manager at a local branch and he tells me "oh yeah they kept booking you for in shop install but you need mobile" i said yes thats what I requested 2 now 3 times. When i finally have the mobile tech call me, almost 2 weeks later... I tell him that i need this done asap - he arrives and does almost $3000 worth of damage to my brand new car!!! I was so upset... (the gun they use to remove the windshield "slipped" and hit my roof, headliner, and interior trim.) Again I was so upset and this had already been such a long drawn out process.. So now I have a local certified shop quote the damage, then the helpful guy that wrote my vehicle up called me and said "hey I just got a call from safelite quality control virgil denying the fact they did damage to your vehicle and they're not liable for repairs". So then I had to get camera footage of the incident, send it in to PROVE they did damage to my car. Ridiculous. After that the safelite quality control manager Virgil, called the shop and apologized saying please move forward with the quote. Again...Ridiculous. Fast forward to the shop completing the paint work, replacing additional parts, and then safelite came and replaced the windshield... I get it back from the shop, go home, go back into work the next morning, turn on my A/C while driving and I get a face Full of glass. I had my workplace inspect it and on top of this whole mess??? Safelite left so much broken glass in all my vents. I then called to have it addressed, and Virgil told me safelite is not responsible for cleaning up the broken glass. Now im stuck taking care of this myself???? SAVE YOUR TIME, AND MONEY. DO NOT GO HERE.

I was referred here by my insurance company. At first I was hesitant about using a company that advertises consistently on television wondering if the business focuses on economy is scale versus economy of quality. Needless to say, they definitely work on economy of scale and the quality was low. They used a third party windshield, which looks okay and so far is good. We'll see how it turns out in the end, It didn't have the standard tinting that the OEM window had and is not as nice as the original. When I got in the car it was dirty. The pillars had dirt on them. Looks like a dirty hand. There was dirt and remnants and debris from installing the window on the dashboard and my seats had some sort of drippy dirt on them. Instead of properly removing my visor clips, they broke the visor clips. When I brought it up to them they were hesitant at first to take responsibility for this break it and then after I called my insurance company to complain and tell them about the problems, they called me and tried to replace them. Again, instead of using OEM parts and ordering directly from the car manufacturer, they tried to order a cheaper third party clip that didn't match the year of my car after I tried to install them. At this point I am just going to return the clips and get my own. In the end it was an inferior window with a dirty installation and my car returned to me with broken parts. I would not recommend Safelite and wish I would have went with my gut instinct and requested a local reputable dealer to install this windshield.

Scheduled an appointment on a monday, then had other plans come up, so I tried calling to reschedule, was in hold for 20 mins was trying to ask about the warranty, hung up because, had other things to do... Then go Online to reschedule. Day of appt, Come to appointment and it turns out they don't really have warranty if the window gets cracked again, it has to be damaged by "manufacturer", not other items on road....The Problem is that the last time I was here, they never mentioned that, sooo they are out here telling people's about the warranty but not Explaining what that means.... I agree with the other comments that state it definitely is cheaper glass because I've been hit by ice before on the road when I had the original manufacturer and it was fine, but ever since I got this particular glass it cracks immediately by ice to window...🤔 I don't think I'll be coming back to this particular store 🤷🏽‍♀️ The 1st time I was here was a good experience, exept the information about warranty. Also heard them say "Let's get her in Quickly to get her out of here" *Update* June 5th. Windshield was not Set Up Properly because of them not taking The Time to Do it Properly....Hopefully this gets taken care off in a week from right now 6/12/25 Safelite Business Said there's nothing wrong and blamed it on a different part of car. Here's a video of poorly installed windshield rattle.

I was referred to Safelite through my insurance to repair a chip in my windshield. Unfortunately, during their attempt to fix it, Safelite ended up cracking out my windshield. While I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that it might have cracked with any company, my review is solely based on the following: The technician was apologetic and promised that Safelite would contact me that evening or the next morning at the latest to arrange a windshield replacement. Since this was an insurance claim, they assured me they would handle everything and that I do not need to reach back out to my insurer. To cut a long story short, I never received any further communication from Safelite. I then contacted my insurance to check on the windshield's status, and they informed me that the repair had been marked as complete. This was quickly changed to a "failed repair" after discussions with my insurance company as it obviously was not completed successfully. I soon after received a survey via email and filled it out honestly regarding my experience. At the end of the survey, I opted to be contacted by a representative due to my unsatisfactory rating. I once again never received any follow-up. The complete lack of communication has led me to permanently seek services elsewhere. My windshield remains cracked out as I search for an alternative solution.ServicesAuto windshield repair

Mark the customer service representative was terrible. He was over talking me, he was impatient, and he lied about adding specific instructions for the technician in the notes regarding my vehicle being at a collision shop and they will be closed at 5pm which was important since my appointment was between 12-5 so it would be best if he got there before 3pm to have time to do the job before they closed. However, the technician Chase was very professional and I was satisfied with his customer service but Mark the customer service representative shouldn't be booking appointments because his speech is unclear and he's just plain rude. If it wasn't for my previous experience with Safelite...I would have booked with someone else's because of Mark's poor customer service.

Safelite replaced a door window. A few days later I noticed they broke the door and it wouldn’t open from the inside. So I took it into their shop for repair. They completed the repair and the technician pulled the car around and turned in the work order. I sat there for another 10 minutes before approaching the receptionists. They had no clue my car was done. I got the keys and inspected the work. This time they broke the inside door panel. It wasn’t connected to the door. They attempted to fix that but the gaps in the panel are still messed up and don’t line up. They refused to refund my $50 deductible because there wasn’t anybody in charge working that day. I would not trust safelite to windex a window.

Update: Since my car is equipped with dashcam, the recording shows that they don‘t use hood protector to work. They put their equipment, can for cleaning agent etc. on the hood. Additionally their technician slammed his phone on my car. I hope this guy gets kicked out and never work in any customer service business. Don‘t choose Safelite if you don‘t want to get your windshield repaired but get damage on your paint job. They work clumsy and don‘t cover the hood with protector. Some resin residue could be seen on it also. We‘ll see if they admit it once they see the damage. I chose safelite as recommended by the insurance. I‘ll let my insurance know also that they should cooperate with other vendor.

Micheal was my windshield tech. Due to extreme weather we had to re schedule, when the day came it turned out to be a busy day for me with a nap for my toddler eight in the middle. Micheal worked with me on times, when he showed up he knew my toddler was potentially sleeping so he completely set himself up before even reaching out to me for my keys. He was respectable, fast, kind, and informative. I run a business myself and i cannot say enough good things about this employee. If i ever need another windshield i will be requesting micheal again. Thank you safelite and thank you micheal! Highly recommended.

I had to change the front windshield of my car. I visited Safelite AutoGlass website to start the claim. Easy to navigate through the website, to make the claim, get the quote and make the appointment (I chose drop out). Safelite AutoGlass is connected with the Insurance Claims and I had to do nothing. Everything was handled professionally and in a timely manner by Safelite. I dropped out my car, as I was instructed and they informed me (text), when it was ready. One time stop. I highly recommend Safelite AutoGlass for your glass replacements.

Our damaged windshield was replaced with minimal effort on our part. We chose to take the car to a SafeLite location. Check in process was quick and the agent was courteous. We were notified immediately after the replacement was completed. We were pleased to find that the technician removed a County Parks pass from the damaged windshield and installed it on the new one even though we did not request that. Satisfied with the entire process from scheduling using the app to the quality of the completed replacement.
