***UPDATED REVIEW - The product installed is unfortunately even worse than I initially thought, the new windshield installed is already cracked in two separate places, as well as has a leak in the seal at the top corner of the passenger side. I had to have the rear glass replaced as well due to a rock going through it from a lawnmower, this time I used Mr windshield on Utica road. 100% better service, and quicker availability than Simbol if you’re considering going to Simbol save yourself a headache and head down to Mr windshield instead.*** Original review below: My experience here started bad and finished bad, Tony the owner is not someone I would recommend doing business with. I had made an appointment mid last week to have a windshield replaced for this Tuesday at 9am, I adjusted my schedule and was ready to have my service completed, at 4:30pm on Monday I get a call to confirm my appointment which is fairly standard but then I’m told my windshield isn’t going to be there in time and I would need to come in at 1pm instead of 9am. That didn’t work for my schedule so we had to push back the install to Thursday at 9am, this was all done via a receptionist who was friendly. Thursday comes and the service is completed, there’s orange tape holding everything down but windshield is crack free so I sign and leave, when I get home I notice a piece of trim that goes over the edge of the windshield is sitting well above flush near my drivers side door. I left the tape on the suggested amount of time and hope the trim just needs to settle into place. I check on it this morning and unfortunately it has not adjusted so I head back to Simbol and ask who I presume to be Tony’s wife to speak to someone about an issue I’m having. Tony comes outside and starts to tell me the age and mileage of the truck caused the trim to not sit properly and that the trim piece is very expensive ($112 from Lexus) compared to what I paid them ($405 with tax) for a windshield so it didn’t make business sense to replace the trim. He continued to tell me how he did me a favor by putting urethane under the trim to secure it and that he doesn’t own the truck because he replaced the windshield. There’s a clear indentation in the trim exactly where it begins to not sit flush, it’s obvious that the piece was damaged during disassembly and Tony hoped that I wouldn’t notice the damage. Tony continued to say the piece isn’t damaged that it’s just weathered and offered to order a new piece of trim and install it at my cost, no willingness to work with me or correct the issue that wasn’t present until he and his company worked on my vehicle. I’m disappointed in the quality of workmanship, the unwillingness to communicate any issues before handling the vehicle back over to the owner, and the unprofessional attitude Tony has when an issue is brought to his attention. I wouldn’t recommend Tony or Simbol auto glass to friends or family.

I first used Simbol auto glass about 10 years ago for a chip in my window. They were amazing, courteous, and professional. I went back a few years ago to tint my vehicle and same spectacular service!!! Then…… I called last week to schedule my windshield to be repaired and tint! I chose Simbol due to my exceptional past experiences and they were and still are very professional!! From start to finish hands down impeccable service and quality work!! Shout out to Dahlia for being so friendly and down to earth on the phone. I absolutely DREAD calling places due to people having ZERO customer service these days. Back in March of this year I needed to have my windshield replaced for a long crack. My local dealership recommended Simbol to me. Their quote was reasonable, they were able to get me in next day and everyone there was very professional and great to work with. Fast forward to July and I got a small stone chip on the driver's side of the front windshield. I called up Simbol and Jeff told me he could get me in same day and quoted me a price for repair. When I got there he told me it wasn't cracked all the way through and that it wasn't necessary to do a formal repair. He put a cap on it, smoothed it out and sent me on my way free of charge in a matter of minutes. I'm so appreciative that he didn't charge me for an unnecessary repair. I wish all businesses had this type of integrity.

I just recently took my truck in....I had a rock chip in my windshield, when I arrived they told me it would take 45 minutes for the repair, however I was out of there in less than 1/2 hour.!! The staff was not only friendly, they also helped guide me through my claim, I simply provided my insurance information, they called my insurance company and did all the up front work for me. This is important for new customers like me , they made it a simple process when it came to both my claim and repair. If you have a windshield chip or crack, I highly recommend Simbol Auto Glass to anybody interested in need of windshield repairs. I had a great experience as this place has quick and reliable customer service!!! . I'll be taking all my vehicles to this place in the future !!

I had an appointment today to have the windshield on my truck replaced. Tony got me in with a last minute appointment. I have never had auto glass issues with any of my vehicles so this was a first time experience. I was floored at how professional Tony was throughout the entire process. The shop was very clean and the employees were all respectable. The entire process took just over 3 hours from drop off to the phone call saying it was ready. I did like the fact that once I picked my truck up Tony explained that the windows needed to stay cracked until the glass sealant properly dried. I stopped in after getting a car wash, windshield appeared to be leaking. Simbol had installed a new windshield a few months before. Jeff stopped what he was doing and came right out to check the problem. In the meantime, another attendant (Jeff) came to see if he could help. They quickly discovered the issue which wasn’t the windshield but the lubricant from my mirror! It ran down the windshield just like water- so who knew? They were both very polite and professional, the problem was resolved in a few minutes and I was back on the road. This type of service is incredible nowadays. Hats off to the techs and Simbol Auto. Highly recommend! Front desk ladies are friendly, patient, and welcoming. Unfortunately, my insurance company didn’t send the right information over before my appointment but they were kind enough to make the necessary phone calls with me so I could keep my appointment. I wish I remembered their names, but thank you! The gentleman who worked on my car was awesome - in fact, he went above his duty and helped me get off a manufacturer marker print off my headlight. Post replacement: I had a question after my appointment and Tony (I believe the manager), called me and helped clear up a concern I had. From the moment I walked in everyone was extremely helpful. I was greeted courteously, and luckily they had a cancellation and were able to do the work immediately (you may need to make an appointment first). The job was finished in about a half hour. It was their expertise and experience that really impressed me! Tony, the owner explained the products and helped me determine the correct tint. The installer came out and answered all my questions. Great people and excellent service!! Had a fainted air leakage noise at driver's seat after the new windshield replacement. Brought it back actually 5 months later. Tony took a ride with me for a confirmation and offered to re-install the windshield. When the windshield was removed he noticed that the car frame for the windshield was not flat and actually bent in quite a lot at the seam on the driver side. Apparently it would need a lot more glue to fill in the gap between the fame and the glass. The job was done in 2 hours at no cost to me. The air leakage noise is completely gone. Very pleasant to work with, and a job well done!! Thank you!

Once again Tony & company did a great job replacing the windshield of my BMW 330i after a large crack caused by a stone hitting my old windshield. Scheduled the job a few days in advance and the job was taken care of while I waited for a few hours as promised. Tony also warned me beforehand that the HUD display may not look as sharp which turned out not to be an issue at all. A few years ago I brought my 328i here for the same service and, due to the excellent job they did at that time, decided to bring this car as well here. I highly recommend this shop for their honesty and excellent workmanship.
