poor craftsmanship and they overcharge when then can. I had a windshield replaced in an 1987 corvette convertible, was told that they could not find a windshield that it needed to be special ordered and would come from Arizona. $493.00 ordered, shipped and installed...After dropping the car off and then picking it up they never bothered putting the windsheild trim on the bottom that protects the glass from the metal bumper it rests on and never put the weatherstripping and retainers back on because they destroyed them, bent and the weatherstripping was tore to hell...after doing some research because of my issues with my weaterstripping and trim being destroyed I find that the windshield manufacture is in Toledo (Pilkington Glass) and its $85 for a windshield picked up or $125 delivered...these weasels told lie after lie and after having to take it back a 2nd time to have the windshield protector put and it repaired properly they still gave it back to me with no weather stripping, so instead it of a cracked windshield that I started with I now had a new windshield that still leaks because they removed all the weaterstripping that goes around the windshield in a convertible...who does that? Add to that the bent the retainer moldings and then they just throw those in the car again without fixing it properly...The owner is a shameful weasel...Thanks Als for charging me $500 for an incomplete repair that was made 100% worse then when I came in... on top of that $120 for new weaterstripping retainers and another $150 for weatherstripping ($770.) All that for it to be repaired properly after Als screw ups... The owner is what you would call a scam artist....but now I have learned my lesson, go somewhere else.

Just got my Jeep picked up from another auto repair place. I had to take my Jeep to another shop due to the horrible job Al's Auto did. I had my Jeep at Al's 4 times without any improvement. I finally decided on the 4th time I am taking it somewhere else! My windshield was cracked all the way across from a rock that hit it and I needed a whole new windshield so I looked around and called Al's. HUGE MISTAKE! I got my jeep back the 1st time and they had scratched my dashboard, the plastic pieces next to the windshield and had black oil finger prints all over the liner of my jeep. They didn't fix/replace what damage they caused replacing the windshield even though Al said he would and the windshield still was getting water and air through it well 3 more times I took it back and said its still leaking air etc. they claimed they fixed it and when I drove away for the 4th time still getting water and air inside my car so I decided to take it to another place. Well I just got my phone call from that place here is what they did and why my car was flooding with water in the floorboard....Windshield was set too high, 10 to 12 spots were covered with glue, Glued the headliner to the window, Column where the wipers are they glued to the metal and that's not all. Just DONT GO HERE! Please save yourself the trouble and your car from being damaged.

I had Al’s Auto Glass make and install a piece of safety glass for my windshield for my1929 Ford. I took him the windshield frame only with broken glass in it. I had taken the car up there a few days earlier so he could look at the job before saying yes or no. He said he could do it. He said 3 -5 business day and we agreed on a fair price. 3 business days later he calls and it’s done. I pick it up and take it home, I figure I should be able to put it right back on the car. NOPE. 2 screws that hold the top part of the frame together have their nuts missing, he filled the holes with sealant to keep them in. 1 of the 4 side screws that help keep the frame rigid is in crooked possibility cross threaded. Then there is sealant spread randomly around the glass. As I’m scraping this off with a razor blade I see the glass is barely in the frame at the bottom corners, it looks like he cut the radius too big and then tried to cover it up with excess sealant. The sealant is not uniformed at all. All across the bottom it’s high and low and smeared. My thought is that if you can’t do the job admit it. This should have been install ready when I got it back. They did a terrible terrible job and I’m so disappointed. I thought using the Local guy was the good thing to do. This time I was way way wrong. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS FOR YOUR GLASS NEEDS.

Went and got a windshield replaced $410 specialty windshield for my specialty car. Left with a windshield and a scratched up Shaker and a bent hood corner and deep gouge in corner where hood meets fender. Nope i did not get a refund one was not offered. I got an estimate to fix, but its really the principle. How many.people has this happen to and how many may not have even noticed the damage.NegativeProfessionalismServicesAuto windshield replacement

Big chunk of ice flew off the top of a commercial box truck on the freeway and smashed my windshield. Looked like someone threw a baseball at my window. Got there right when they opened while also on the phone with my insurance. My insurance called them, connected me, and I went inside and sorted it out. Left my car behind and 5hrs later it was done. Insurance rider made it dirt cheap out of pocket. Wonderfully satisfied with the whole process

I had a great experience with AL's. They were fast, professional and took extra steps to ensure everything went smoothly. I was paying out of pocket to avoid an insurance claim and the price they quoted was over $100 less than everywhere else for the same OEM glass. Would definitely recommend.

Took my car here to get the windshield replaced though my insurance company. They waived my deductible and were done in just over an hour but that's because they had to wait just a little for the glass to be delivered. This will be my glass place from now on.
