Terrible customer service and rude. They are impossible to reach with no direct phone number, and you have to navigate Safelite's terrible phone system and hope someone in their call center can reach the shop (which took several tries over 2 days). Eventually I spoke with Emily who represented herself as a manager about a window regulator repair that failed. She claimed they do not warranty regulators, I informed her Safelite's own website says they have a nationwide warranty on power window repair. She then told me to take it up with customer care and that she was unable to transfer me. It turns out she was unable to provide me the correct phone number to customer care as well. Eventually someone at customer care dug out a document from somewhere that states the warranty is only one year on regulator's. That document or information does not appear to be publicly available on safelite's website or my receipt. Don't bother with their website either, most of those numbers just end with an automated voice saying no one is available to take your call and hanging up on you with no option for a message or call back.

I recently had my windshield replaced by Safelite AutoGlass, and overall, it was a smooth and hassle-free experience. Here’s a breakdown of my experience: Easy Online Scheduling – Booking an appointment was simple through their website. I was able to get a quote instantly and pick a time that worked for me. Mobile Service Convenience – I opted for the mobile service, so the technician came to my location. This saved me time and the trouble of driving with a cracked windshield. Professional & Friendly Technician – The technician arrived on time, explained the process, and got straight to work. The replacement was done in about an hour. Quality of Work – The new windshield looked great and i liked the quality of work. Warranty & Coverage – They offer a warranty on their work, which gives peace of mind. Plus, they handled the insurance claim directly, making the process seamless. Overall, my experience with Safelite was excellent—fast service, professional staff, and quality installation. If you’re dealing with a cracked or broken windshield, Safelite is a reliable choice.

👎👎 Service is super super slow (3hr 40 mins rear window replacement), inaccurate ETA’s, not all staff is knowledgeable on cure times and after work procedures. Front windshield with camera calibration took less time. Should have drove back to Illinois and got it done at the local shop there who updates in a timely fashion. My time waiting for the glass to be replaced it took another customer 30 mins to get answer whether or not they had the correct glass. Like what are you serious. Not super friendly staff but they are working. And on top of that they installed a defective piece of glass, scratched, chipped, not secured and flush like other side and have to wait a week before I can go back and waste another 4 hrs of my life to get a new one installed. This location doesn’t quality check before installing and after installation?!.?!. This company shouldn’t be partnered with any insurance company. Highly do not recommend this place to anyone. 👎👎

My son had a small chip in his truck's windshield, and he was worried it might spider out and become a bigger problem. I called my insurance company on Saturday, and by Monday, Safelite was here to fix the chip at no cost. The service technician called beforehand to let me know his exact time of arrival. He was extremely friendly and explained everything to us in detail. He also discovered another chip we hadn't noticed and fixed that as well. He explained that since my son's windows have a very dark tint, it might appear on the inside as though the chip hasn't been repaired, but it has been fixed. His detailed explanations were extremely helpful, especially since my son wasn't home, and I had to relay the information to him. I would DEFINITELY use Safelite again! They are prompt, knowledgeable, extremely friendly, and guarantee their work. Thank you, Safelite! 😊

Second time here in Livonia Safelite.I will describe my experience as happened you be the judge. As I waited to drop the keys the only front desk employee seemed constantly busy and tend to ignore you for about 10 minutes every time.in top of it words like thank you or sorry do not exist in their vocabulary. I got a phone call at 3 pm to pick up the car went there in 10 minutes and was told car is not ready without explanation or apology. Waited until they close at 5 got the keys start driving and lights were flashing on the dashboard on camera sensors. Went back to talk to the mechanic who did the job but I had to wait since there were 2 very angry customers in front of me.finally the mechanic came outside and reset some settings. Back home after 2 hrs. Job was done but the people working there seemed very annoyed with their jobs..

Work truck got a crack. They were Very fast. Due to weather I had to go to their shop. However I will NOT be bringing my personal vehicles to them for any kind of service. They took down my EZ pass to replace windshield. They never put it back up. I did not know this. I was stopped at a toll the next day. Because law enforcement thought I was trying to run the toll booth. Now my EZ pass won't stick to new windshield. Next they moved my laptop mount. Instead of using the GIANY knobs to loosen and swing arm out of the way. The tech decided to just force it. So now it's broken and swings around when I make a turn. That's piss poor craftsmanship. You all are lucky this is a work truck. I will NEVER bring my personal vehicles to you. I will take them to a local shop.

The service is magnificent. If there are situations that are unsatisfied on their end. It will be resolved instantly. Nobody is perfect, but it will be handled professionally. Insurance claims can price products that are not so costly that do not work for your vehicle glass replacement. I will suggest anyone & refer to take their vehicle to Safelite Glass Co. The photo shows that this glass wasn't qualified for this type of system intact. Could you see 👀 the windshields look off outside, especially inside? The camera system wasn't placed to fit properly. Be sure to inspect your vehicle carefully before you leave the business premises. Remember, nothing is perfect to the eye.

I had an appointment at 1 o'clock, the receptionalist Emily was very, very rude to me. She says she didn't see my appointment in the system. I made my appointment on Saturday morning. Very indirect, very rude, very abrupt, like I did something to her or she was having a bad day. I don't appreciate it. Did not even try to accommodate me by giving me an appointment add another time or location for me. And let her know that she was very rude. I can see why you guys only have 3 stars and reading comments Any reviews The owner is coming back and apologizing too much which let you know? They have very, very poor customer service. I'm surprised that this location is still in business

The shop at Schoolcraft in Livonia was very clean and the communication between us was very helpful. When they mentioned in my notification letter what I needed to do before I arrived, they mentioned something about having heavy stuff in my car and I had a very heavy table saw in the back of my Subaru and I called and said it would have to be removed to get the car correctly calibrated and I couldn’t get the saw out without assistance. Till later on in the week, so I had to cancel reschedule my appointment. They made that very easy to do. They got my windshield in in less than half the time they said it would be. I was very happy with their service.

I really wanted this to turn into a happy ending. I scheduled a front driver side window regulator replacement at my home. After three attempts, a missing screw, missing screw plates, and terrible attitudes from a technician and a supervisor - I’m still left with a crooked door casement where the interior door handle and the locking pin are out of place. After speaking with Aaron, the manager, who promised to make this right, personally, I just picked up my car and yes! finally the window works but the casement is in the exact same position as when I brought it. Aaron was no where to be found. Never again Safelite.
