The safelite technician broke my rear view mirror. I have an electric auto dimming rear view mirror, and after letting the car sit for a couple days to make sure it was fully "curated", I left the house in it. I soon realized I had to adjust the mirror and when I did it fell off and was hanging by the wires! Mind you, this was while I was driving. I pulled over & was able to temporarily get it to stay up, but not in a position that I could see out of it. I tried calling Safelite but could only get a robot on the phone. I made a new appointment to get this fixed, and safelite was supposed to come to my house @ 8am with their mobile unit for the repair; the day of the repair I get a reminder email, and it says I have an appointment @8am in a random city that's not close by or the same location that originally replaced the windshield! I finally just brought it to get fixed myself, and it turns out the issue was the screw that held the mirror on was missing. I received absolutely NO customer service after the repair and having to pay out of pocket for the problem safelite caused is ubsurd! So much for having free glass Coverage on my insurance 😒 2 thumbs down for what should've been an easily resolvable issue but wasn't. 👎👎

The Worst. Scheduled an appointment Monday to have my windshield replaced on Tuesday at the shop. Told the phone rep I had a tall van. Drove down in the snow to find out my van was too tall to fit in the garage and they couldn't do the windshield outside because of the snow. Okay, simple mistake. They offered to come to my house to replace it that Thursday. Some good. I got a call Thursday morning asking if I had an appointment and what happened. Apparently my windshield was sent back for some reason. They would have to come out Friday. Pretty annoying. I called Friday morning to verify when they were coming since the window they gave me was all day. I was told I was 8th, which was pretty annoying since it was the third time they were supposed to replace it. Nobody showed up or contacted me at all on Friday. I called Saturday morning to find out what happened. They said my windshield arrived damaged and they would have to reschedule. Worst company ever. Just use someone else. The communication between the call center and shop is ridiculous, customer service is horrible, the call center operator gave me attitude on several calls. Again... the worst!

I do not recommend dropping your car off. You might get left to be done last or not even finished. We drop my car off in the morning to be there all day. They said get here by five when we close. I called around 3:30 to make sure it was good and they just said get here by five when we close (even when I specifically asked “is my car done though?” When I arrive, they tell me it still needs about 45 minutes of work, which is confusing because we arrived at 4:45. After about an hour of waiting in our other car I went back in to check and they say they have not finished the job because it is now dark and they cant do the camera alignment. I asked why they told me so many times to get here by five if the car wasn’t even done. We would’ve saved our gas and just gone and gotten it the next morning. Terrible communication.

They cancelled 1 day before service, and I had storage for my camper up until that day. I now have no safe place to park my camper, because they gave no notice. When I called and questioned why, they didn’t even have the decency to offer me a place to put my camper (like their lot), while I waited for service. They were indignant, rude and treated me like I should have been more prepared for their half horrible customer service and bad communication. They put me in a horrible bind, and if it weren’t for the fact that my insurance uses them, I wouldn’t even recommend this company to put windows on my dog house. I was told by number of people not to go through them because they’re so bad, and that just a recommendation about their quality of work. Now I’m giving a further review on their awful customer service.

After nearly 50 years of driving, I was recently confronted with the need to replace a windshield for the first time. Checking online revealed a Safelite shop quite near my apartment. Since my parking lot would not allow the space needed to perform the job at my residence, I made an appointment to take the car to them, so that I could wait and not have to arrange rides. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, with complimentary drinks available, and the staff people were pleasant and informative. The replacement was covered by insurance, which I was easily able to deal with on the website when I made my appointment. I also paid to have my windshield wipers replaced at the same time, with parts and labor coming to around $70. Thanks, guys!

The administration and technicians were extremely helpful, very polite, and kind. My truck needed a new windshield and during the process of replacement I was informed that there was a leak underneath my engine. The manager (I assume) and techs identified where the leak was which was the brake fluid line. Once finished I was going to take the truck to a mechanic and realized that I had no brakes. Nothing. Staff helped push the truck out of the garage. I couldn't get towing service until the next morning. Staff said just leave it here until the next morning. The truck is now in the garage being fixed but being around people that were helpful and concerned made my day. Again, thank you Northampton Safelite staff I wish you well.

The rubber around the windshield was left open and the technician told me that old cars are like that because the sun damages the rubber. My 2012 Honda CRv wasn’t like that before the service. I called for another service so they can look at it and the woman in the phone was giving attitude. Poor customer service, not a good communication as the technician left without telling me that he had completed the work ( I assumed he left and then confirmed when I walked to my vehicle and noticed the opening in the rubber, after that I called him and asked about the rubber). I would not recommend it, it was a terrible experience.

They did a wonderful job, however I live about 49 minutes to the closest facility they told me they would need the car all day. I arranged for someone to follow me to drop the car off and for someone to give me a ride back later, safelite had said about 4 pm..... Then they called me at 1130 to say they finished and wanted to close early because Easter was the next day. Very unprofessional and very inconvenient. I would have just waited for the car to be done rather than drive home 40 minutes then have to turn around and ask my ride to bring me back.

Two stars because they did replace my windshield pretty fast but I’m left disappointed. They left my car absolutely filthy! Shoe prints all over. Never has my car been so dirty. Upon reviewing the receipt it falsely stated that vehicle was vacuum by them. Theirs rubber trim pieces on my floor! The dash is dirty As well. Insurance is covering a $500 bill for these services. I just hope they installed my windshield correctly and didn’t skip steps to save time.

On my appointment day, fortunately they had a cancellation and I was able to get in at 11:00 instead of2:00. Lewis was there when I arrived everything was ready to go. He started immediately. I was prepared for a long wait so I brought my bicycle. After about 1 1\2 hours I got a text it was finished. I biked back to the shop and was on my way. Absolutely no hassle. Great job. I would recommend Satellite to all!
