James at the front was absolutely abhorrent to work with. Not only did he make a mistake, and refuse to apologize or put any effort into making it right but he then proceeded to scream at me until I got the mechanic to come in and make James settle down. I had requested for a new windshield wipers to be put on. I brought my own. And the mechanic Sam, who I have nothing but nice things to say about, said it would be no problem. However with it being a busy day he forgot. So when James called I said did you have a chance to replace the windshield wipers to which James replied “yes we did.” Not once mentioning that there would be an additional charge for the windshield wipers because he put on Safelite’s windshield wipers and not the ones that I brought with me. So upon arrival for pick up he charges my card. But first “the system isn’t working properly” so he asked if he can take a photograph of my debit card so that he can input the information later and make the payment to which I said “no I am not comfortable with you having a photograph of my card.” That in of itself was an insane suggestion made by James. Then he charges the card and proceeds to not give me a receipt and not tell me the total he charged. When I get into my car to leave I noticed that the windshield wipers I brought and was told had been installed, were still unopened in the backseat. So I politely go back in and inquire with James about the confusion with the wipers. At this point he informs me he charged me $38 for the new Safelite wipers he installed. To which I said you never asked if you could charge me more than $250. James explicitly told me the charge was $250. And he said “well with the wipers it’s an extra $38.” But he failed to mention that when he charged the card. Then did not provide a receipt. I told him I would not be paying that and he needed to remove the wipers from my car, refund the $38 and install the ones that they had agreed to install in the first place. James refused to do this and then started shouting at me because “safelite doesn’t do that” despite the sign in the lobby stating that you do exactly that. I walk into the garage to chat with Sam, James is still yelling at me. Sam agreed to do it without any issues and apologized for forgetting. Sam then stopped what he was doing and immediately installed the wipers and made James refund the $38. James was awful, mean, unprofessional, and overall bad for business. I would only recommend Safelite because of Sam, who deserves a raise!

BUYER BEWARE! Ordered and paid $855 for glass through their website. Went to appointment where they installed the wrong glass. Said they had to order new glass and in the meantime I had to drive with the wrong glass which is a safety hazard. Received call my glass was in, received text to authorize a $0.00 charge. On the way they ran my card without my knowledge for an additional $500+. A fee was included to remove the wrong glass THAT THEY INSTALLED! I asked the receptionist and he said they’d take care of it when he talks to the GM. I called once a month and got the same story- “need to talk to GM”. Today they said they can’t do anything and to call customer service. Safelite’s customer service number is a joke, no human ever answers so it’s apparent they don’t care about customers once they’ve taken their money. So I’m out my money and the worst part is they put is they didn’t even do it right because now my wipers hit the pillar on my car and make a dragging sound. I’m sure that’ll be great for the paint. /s. Go anywhere else but here! Support local businesses and wait the 2 weeks that it takes them to get your glass in.

I had an appointment today from 12-5. I got a conformation last night saying I would get an email in the morning giving me more information about my appointment. This morning, no email. At 2pm I called and they told me they were short of technicians. So I said , so you were just going to stand me up. No, we are going to try to get you in. 5pm I get a call I need to reschedule. I spent my whole afternoon waiting for nothing. I would have been annoyed if they canceled this morning, but I get, things happen , if they had let me know then AT LEAST I WOULD HAVE HAD THAT DAY TO GO INTO WORK AND GET SOMETHING DONE! Then you would think they would try to fit me in for tomorrow morning. No! They are too busy taking care of all the people who were scheduled after me. I have to wait until Friday and she couldn’t promise me that they could fit me in, in the morning, so it’s possible that I will have to waste another whole day. I’m certainly not a valued customer. The girl on the phone was nice and apologetic but it didn’t seem there was much she could do about it.

I made an appointment several days ago to have my windshield replaced after being quoted at $330. I had plans of paying out of pocket. I got a call yesterday telling me that it would actually cost closer to $900. This is not a problem at all because I understand the windshield had to be recalibrated, so I filed an insurance claim and asked if it was possible to keep my appointment. I was told it was not a problem and to come in for the original appointment that was scheduled. I get there this morning and the man at the front desk is fumbling through paperwork trying to find mine. He tells me that USAA hasn’t paid yet. I called USAA immediately and they were able to provide the work number. Then I get told by the same man I spoke to yesterday that he can’t take me today even though I’m scheduled. We spoke the day prior, we made arrangements, insurance covered, and I was told I could keep my original appointment. This place is a huge inconvenience due to lack of proper communication and disorganization. I refuse to go back.

Scheduled an appointment for a Saturday morning. A few days before my appointment, I came to the garage to have my car inspected to ensure they ordered the correct part before my appointment. When I showed up for my appointment, it wasn't in the garage's system. I had not been contacted by phone or email to notify me they canceled the appointment. I was told that appointments are sometimes canceled if a part isn't available, and that it probably wasn't available due to supply chain issues. The people at the shop apologized that I didn't get notice. I was asked if I would be around the rest of the day and that the garage would call me back if they could locate the part or figure out what happened with my canceled appointment. I did not get a call back. Around 4 pm, I contacted another garage, and they were immediately able to locate the part. I made an appointment at that garage as soon as I could and had my window regulator replaced without issue or delay.

My partner took his car in to get a windshield replacement and this place ended up affecting me. There is a fuse missing and there were two panels taken off and left in the engine. Whatever they did caused the windshield wipers to malfunction and there have been terrible storms lately. I was driving with my mother in the car and thankfully we were close to home because the windshield wipers malfunctioned and didn't work. I had to drive home without them as I didn't have a choice to leave the vehicle. The negligence of this establishment put myself and my family in danger. This is all after the day he dropped off his car for an 8 am appointment and not until 2 pm did they tell him it's not a "real" appointment, and they may not get to the car at all. I don't understand the point of telling someone to drop their car off for an appointment that doesn't exist. Do not go to this location and good luck to those who do.

Horrible customer service. I had a scheduled appointment. The day of appointment I received call from tech in the morning we went over time of appointment 12-5. The appointment time came and went with no phone call from anyone regarding eta or they will not be able to make the scheduled appointment. I called Safelite unfortunately my called was routed to Justin in West Virginia and all he could tell me is what he can’t do. Rule #1 in customer service NEVER TELL THE CUSTOMER WHAT YOU CAN’T DO! Needless to say my phone rang at 5:43pm it was the Tech who did not leave a message. I then received an email from Safelite that my appointment is now rescheduled to Saturday. I do understand things happen but the lack of communication is not acceptable. My time is valuable. All ends well I ended up getting Same day service from a Black owned small business with impeccable customer service. Price difference I SAVED $257.00!!

We had a scheduled time for them to come out. Then they called the day of service and said they couldn't come out and that we would need to bring the car in because of "rain", the orignal time frame for them to come to us was before 3. They wanted us to come in at 4. We called back asking if we could bring it in sooner since our oringal time was between 12- 3 it was at this point the person said " if it's a time problem you can reschedule ". I feel they could have handled this differently considering it rained in my area just enough to get the ground wet which was hours before the scheduled time and then tried to make it sound like it was our fault for not timing it correctly. Maybe they had an off day or the person we spoke too was new. Either way we ended up going with a different windshield replacement company.

Unfortunately on my trip back from VA a rock cracked my windshield and I was forced to get the entire thing replaced. I made my appointment online and used the $25 off promo code and spent about $450 to replace a 2015 Toyota Camry windshield (because I decided not to go through my insurance). When I arrived there was as no one at the desk BUT right away someone came from inside of the garage to let me know someone would be right with me and they were. I got in and out in about an hour and a half and the customer service while I waited was great! The employees all had their mask on and even had me laughing while I waited. I hope I won’t have to be back again BUT if I do I’ll definitely be back to this location.PositivePunctuality, Quality, Professionalism, ValueServicesAuto windshield replacement

Unprofessional, slow, they over book appointments, time management is horrible. No point in making an appointment because your vehicle won't be brought back on time. Nonchalant personnel. Waiting room is as big as walk in closet with 4 chairs that only fit little children. I would not recommend this location. And for the cherry on top... they tried to charge me the wrong price by an extra $60... if I was not a person that dots his eyes and crosses his tees... I would have been upcharged,... even after speaking to the same person that gave me the quote. After asking why that made the price change.. Russ replied "I have no idea and I wouldn't worry about things like that... do I look bothered by it"... then the final price was somehow cheaper than quoted all of a sudden...... Run away.
