Clearview Auto Glass & Tint

Update 5/23/19: have not heard a progress report on whether parts were ordered and when to bring back in to correct the discrepancies of their initial upholstery work. Update 4/24/19: returned from Florida and met with Lawrence, the owner of the shop. After showing him the discrepancies in the work done he immediately had an upholstery technician come out and properly install the seat reclining bracket properly but the handle was definitely broken during reinstallation. Lawrence also saw how the door handle had been broken during installation and said he would immediately order the parts and schedule to have them replaced when they arrived. We can't explain how it happened but while I was gone in Florida the headliner that was loose in two places are now attached and looks perfectly fine. Update: the owner has contact me and verbally has promised to do whatever it takes to make me happy with the poor workmanship I experienced. I m out of the state for the next couple months but when I return will try to see if they can make this right. I will update at that time to relate my experience. Would not go to the Benson Avenue location again for upholstery work on my car. Pay the extra $60 and go to a competitor. After only 5 weeks the headliner came loose in two places already. Broke the bracket surrounding the incline lever of the front driver seat when reupholstering the seat and cannot get it to reattach properly. Poor workmanship on sewing seams for the fabric on the driver side door handle. Also promised to look into the repair of the slide mechanism on the seat that was wearing due to age to see if they could fix it rather than replace the seat with a new one. They did not even look at it said the technician that worked on it.

After a botched and cancelled appointment with Safelite, I called Clearview to repair my windshield with only a few days left before I was non compliant with a repair order. I first spoke with the owner who answered immediately and indicated that he could assist me...$100+ CHEAPER THAN SAFELITE!! After offering me 2 locations to choose from, I mentioned that I wanted to go a little closer to my home and he offered to see me at his new yet-to-opened office in glen burnie. The office wasn't due to be opened for a couple days but he was willing to accommodate me! I also spoke with a very helpful coordinator (I can't recall her name) but I believe she worked in the Halethorpe office. She provided me with instructions of where and when to drop off my car and the name of the technician (Eric). My windshield was replaced and I am now compliant. I would recommend this business to anyone in need... NO SAFELITE!

I came in this afternoon to get tints on my car and was pleasantly surprised by the customer service and value of the service. I got galaxy tints, which are worth the extra few bucks and by the time I ate lunch at fish head cantina next door they were done! So no more than an hour. Plus Lawrence and the guys at the shop provided some laughs and nice conversation the few moments I was waiting to finalize everything. I can’t remember the gentleman that initially helped me when I dropped off the car, but he too was very personable and knowledgeable. We’re getting my wife a new car soon and I will most definitely be returning to the benson ave Clearview auto glass and tin to get hers done as well. Today could have possibly been very chaotic for me. I came outside to a vandalized vehicle. After calling multiple places including my insurance company as well as their contracted repair specialists I was at a dead end. No one would help! Everyone at BOTH Clearview locations, (Arbutus and Howard Street) were very helpful and attentive to my needs. They repaired my car window SAME DAY! And although I was told over the phone that it would take almost 2 hours, it took about 40 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised! Prices are very, very reasonable and the job was done PERFECTLY! This is a wonderful establishment and I recommend them for all auto glass repairs. Special thanks to Lawrence the owner, Dontae the technician/mechanic, and Will the associate/ representative! Great Job!

I had the unhappy experience of driving on 95 at 3PM on a weekday, when some object from the road bounced up and shattered my windshield. I determined it was probably unsafe to drive without a solid windshield and with tiny pieces of glass all over the dashboard. As I was being towed to the shop on Benson Ave, one of their employees was already on his way to pick up my replacement windshield. The job was done before they closed that night. Amazing service! Not to mention they replaced a wiper (without upcharging it 200%!) and even vacuumed the shards of glass from my interior. Comfy couch, complimentary coffee, very friendly staff, very competitive pricing. I highly recommend these guys, and would go here again in a heartbeat.

Well, every other glass company told me they could do a remove and install because the gasket around my windshield broke loose. The windshield was in perfect shape and Clearview auto glass also said they could do that for $200 so I let them do the work and I came in here at 4:40 PM to pick up my vehicle. They told me they had to charge me an extra 150 because they couldn’t save the glass That had zero damage to it so I paid for it not extremely happy about it and now we’re all just sitting in the parking lot at 5:15 PM and they close at five. I need one person to move their vehicle so I can leave and everybody in the office has their feet up on the desk like they’re on lunch break, this is ridiculous

I'm extremely pleased with the service I received from Clearview. I went to the Benson Ave location a few minutes early for my appointment, but the staff got right to work. They were even able to retint one of my windows though I didn't decide to get it done until I arrived. I was impressed with the care that the technician took with my car even when he didn't know that I was looking. I was very happy with the price as both services cost less than the quote from a better known competitor. I'll definitely go back when the need arises, and I recommend Clearview to anyone.

I could not be happier with the service I received! You guys took a terrible situation and fixed up my car in less than three hours. Also, you were way less expensive than the big brand glass repair company Who didn’t have an appointment for another week anyway. Lawrence and his team even went above and beyond and fixed some cosmetic damage at no extra charge. Thank you so much for your quick service and excellent repair job. Looking for a place to have your car upholstery repaired? Look no further. Clearview is where you want to go. Our 2009 Honda was looking a little raggedy—the leather armrests on the driver side door panel and both front seats were torn. The dealer wanted big money to fix them. But Clearview did the job at a reasonable price. They carefully matched the material they needed to order, then once it was in, they did the job in one day. The job looked good. The service was honest and friendly, and the craftsmanship was top-notch. Need I say more?

Seems like a stone found my windshield on Sunday afternoon and after filing an insurance claim Monday morning, I took my car to Clearview for a stone chip repair. I arrived at the shop at 8:00 a.m. and after some minor paperwork the repair was completed and I was back on the road at 8:45. Where do you get service like that? I do suggest that you file your insurance claim and the Clearview online information before you go to the shop. This will save time and help expedite your repair. All in all...JOB WELL DONE!!!
