I had a crack on my windshield that was beyond repair. Between my insurance company setting up my appointment, and the IMMEDIATE correspondence of that conveyed to me by text messages courtesy of Safelite, I was "in-the-know" and felt I was in GOOD HANDS! On the date of my service meeting, I opened the door and was not greeted by the office attendant Chad. I didn't even see the smile that the text from Safelite mentioned I was supposed to have. No big deal, I took the initiative and let him know who I was and my business being there. Other customers that were male or perhaps considered unattractive came in and were stared at blankly just the same. I guess I should have worn makeup to be noticed because THOSE women were. Tommy, the gentleman who did the work and replaced my windshield, was VERY METICULOUS and definitely someone who enjoyed his job, as well as, performing a great service for the customers of Safelite. I was able to tell Tommy that I appreciated his work and care of my vehicle: it is not even 4 months old. There were other service guys who seemed very engaging with their customers, too. One young fella with brown hair explained the process of what he needed to do with replacing this elderly guy's windshield and the process of recalibrating it before he rendered the service--THAT was top-notch to me. Thank you, Safelite!!!!

absolutely no customer service care AT ALL My first appointment was from 12-5 on a Friday. I took off work to be home. Tech called to say he’d call me around 2 with a better ETA. At 4:50, I started calling the customer care line which was unable to reach the shop or the tech. Best they could do was make an in shop appointment for me the following day. They also said they’d send an email to the store and district managers. I go to my appointment and not only did the manager NOT have an email about my case, they didn’t even know I had been stood up the day before and they had the WRONG window after having wasted 2 hours of my time by not checking before starting to take my car apart. So reschedule for TWO WEEKS later at my work from 8-12. At 8:30 I started calling the service line again because while I’m supposed to be the first appointment, I haven’t heard anything from the tech. They of course can’t reach the shop or the tech. I get the ”we will send an email” bit again, but I’m not holding my breath. I’ve called the shop repeatedly and no answer. I’m still waiting to hear if anyone intends to come to my appointment today. This is the WORST place to do business with. Stay away.

The past weekend saw a great family gathering and wedding. Unfortunately, a rock and gravel truck caused a number of nicks in the front windshield our Jeep Grand Cherokee L. With arrangement made to Safelite, from out auto insurance agency, the Safelite service promptly called and made a reservation for the replacement of our Jeep windshield. From the reservation call and appointment, to the service tech arriving at our home...the replacement service was terrific. The replacement appointment was professional, seamless and demonstrated how capable Safelite is, in replacing and calibrating an advanced windshield and electronic sensors We very much appreciate and thank and recognize the skill, customer service and professionalism of the Safelite agencies.

Bait and switch. Initially quoted around 1k for a windshield replacement. Then several days later they added $500 for a calibration. Frustrating but understandable. Then just over a week later (first available appointment) they tell me my total is now approx $1900. I asked how is that possible my invoice says $1500. Woman on the phone said they have a different windshield that’s costs more. I needed to drive 1k miles the following day so was stuck paying almost double what my initial quote was and an extra $500 (with no invoice) day of. Complete scam. If your going to charge ridiculous prices for a windshield, don’t wait almost 2 weeks until day of to let the customer know how much your charging them.

I made my appointment online for 2 weeks later for them to come and do my 07 slk, the day the tech called said between 8-12 he arrived close to 12. Once he bent my trim molding on driver side and cracked my windshield he called and said he couldn’t do it because he wasn’t able to put the top down and the sho could, I said you broke my window he said he didn’t think it mattered , I need an inspection and the original crack was on passenger side and would pass inspection he cracked driver side where it won’t pass plus he severely damaged my molding and trim now when I drive it flaps makes noise total sham and waste of time. I will follow up with corporateServicesAuto windshield replacement

I had to have my windshield replaced due to a major crack across the windshield. I made an appointment online after providing truck and insurance information pertaining to the truck that I have. I did double check with my insurance company, but all I was going to owe was the deductible. I receive a notice from my service representative, Dustin that he was about 30 minutes out for my appointment on the date that was scheduled. He arrived on time and was very meticulous when removing the old windshield and replacing it with the new one. He did an excellent job. Very cordial and very professional. I highly recommend him if you have a choice of installers.

Safelight was very professional… From the first call, I made to them over the phone to their communication with me through the process. The technician was very professional as he called me as promised, on the way and arrived on time to repair of the windshield. Payment was made easy for a credit card out in the field and receipt was sent via email so we could keep it on record for tax purposes in our business. The windshield is now in perfect shape and ready for inspection so we can continue with our business. We appreciate Safelight!ServicesAuto windshield repairPrice assessmentNot sure

The service here was above and beyond! We had what we thought was a broken passenger window. Stopped to get it crash wrapped so we could continue on our 6 hour journey. Turns out the window wasn’t broken, just the regulator. They opened up the door and pulled the window up for us so we could continue. The staff was amazing. Had the best conversation with them. They gave recommendations on wheee to eat in the area. Absolutely the nicest service I have ever received! Thank you so much for helping us and for your amazing customer service!!
