American Windshield Repair & Replacement

To preface my review, I have been traveling on the road for 9 days now, moving from central Oregon to Florida. I had my car broken into in san antonio, very unfortunate, and needed my windows repaired asap since I couldn't drive all the way to Florida with it open and raining. I was lucky enough to see this amazing glass repair shop on google maps and their wonderful reviews and decided to give them a shot and man was it a great idea! I got scheduled perfectly on time for them to ship the piece of glass to the shop and start work on my car within moments, the shop staff were super helpful and made sure I knew of any damages to the car body before they put in the new glass, it has taken barely any time at all for them to take apart my car and put the new glass in. I am astounded at how fast and professional they are with the repairs, and I cant forget the office staff who scheduled me the day before Thanksgiving out of nowhere! I have to give a very large thanks to this whole team and only wish I lived here in Louisiana so I could come back again if my windows break! Thank you very much -Gage

Inspection Sticker. The women up front were very friendly as usual; however, the gentlemen who did the inspection after finishing, while I was waiting on the inside was chatting away with another customer delaying my journey which I had important things to take care of after leaving there. There is a point of being too friendly with customers. We have gone there for several years and their stickers do outlast all the other places of the past even though we are getting 2 year stickers with them. They do actually clean the windshield much better before applying the stickers. Other than being too friendly, I don't have any other complaints.ServicesService not listed

Today I was referred to American Windshield Repair & Replacement to repair a crack in the windshield of my 2019 Kia Sorento. The staff were courteous and prompt. While the crack was not repairable, Mr Toby noticed my expired inspection sticker and, at my request, performed a thorough inspection and placed the new sticker. That kind of personal and professional service is rare and saved me from a possible ticket for several hundred dollars. I recommend Mr Toby and this business without reservation, and will go nowhere else for my future auto glass needs!

I can't say enough about how happy I am with the experiences I've had with American Windshield. I've come to them twice now for rock chips in my windshield. Both times they've been friendly, fast, and done a wonderful job. They were recommended to me by a friend from Scott and I'm so glad I went with them over Safelight and I hope you'll give them a shot. I'll be back for anything I need glass related.

Although I didn't end up using him, I must say he was one out of 9 places I called to change out my windshield. Very courteous and nice guy. He was the 2nd or 3rd that was the cheapest. Great customer service skills represented by this company I must say. THANKS!

Highly recommended! We stopped here spontaneously on our road trip to get a chip in the windshield repaired. They did an excellent job (you can hardly see where it was) and they contacted my insurance company so I didn't have to pay anything. Thank you!!

This place always is great! We got there close to closing for an inspection and they still were able to take us and get it done. The employees are friendly and care to make sure the job is done right. I highly recommend this place!

A rock chipped our windshield over the Mississippi River and came straight here and we were in and out in 5 minutes. Amazing people! Thank you so much for the great service. Got us back on the road in no time!

Wonderful service! I called the chain by I-10 and got the runaround. I called American, asking for a chip fix this morning and got the response "Yes ma'am, come on by". Wonderful local service.
