NOVUS Auto Glass Repair & Replacement

I was going to get my state inspection for my car today originally at Firestone. I found out that they did not do inspections and was referred to novus glass. Mind you, I had never gone to novus glass before so I have no idea where I’m supposed to park my car nor where to start except find out at the front desk. I walked into the office but no one was there, so I walked outside to find someone in the garages. One lady was in the right garage and I got her attention by asking excuse me. She approaches me and pretty much talks to me in a rude manner about where I should park my car and what I should have ready. Initially I was taken aback with her attitude because I didn’t think it was rude to ask what I’m supposed to do because I had never gone here before for a state inspection (there also isn’t any signs that I was aware of pulling into the parking lot). Anyway, I pull up behind another car waiting for inspection on the side of the building and when the lady got to me, she still had a rude attitude. I’m not sure if I caught her on a bad day or if she just didn’t want to be there, but I didn’t have one article of paper that I needed to do the inspection, luckily. After that interaction, even if I did have all of the papers I needed, I knew I definitely was not going to get my state inspection at this place. I know I never got past the first person I talked to, but that definitely made me want to steer away from this place.NegativeProfessionalism

I brought my vehicle in for windshield replacement and picked up at the end of the day. The next day I was on the interstate and it began to storm. I turned on the windshield wipers and the wipers were going off the windshield and getting caught on the sides. I brought my vehicle back in Monday and they had to fix the issue. The tech, who was very helpful, said they needed to be adjusted to a different level. At the completion of the work I asked them to replace the blade that was going over the side because it was inevitably compromised. I was referred to the manager and she continued to argue with me that the blade was fine and usable. So instead of making things right by replacing one blade after they made a mistake on their part, I drove off one unhappy customer and will not return. Poor customer service on the managers part.

They replaced my windshield on 2012 Ford Explorer. They did a very poor job. They broke the plastic wiper trim, both upper and lower side moldings. The wiper trim was replaced after being spoken to in a very rude and unprofessional manner. Side moldings wouldn't sit flush like it did before I brought the car to them. They stated they tried to fix but that's a good as it gets. Fast forward 1/2 a year later and passenger side molding flew off revealing the broken plastic lower moldings and a ton of double sided tape which is why the molding would never sit level like it was prior to dropping car off. Thanks guys, hopefully you're more professional when I call to discuss this hack job. Parts and labor to fix this is about $400.

This family is full of professionals! I had to get a chip in my windshield repaired and they were fantastic. I can barely tell the chip was ever there! Good people! I’ve been to both locations in Sulphur and Lake Charles. Highly recommend! Women owned and operated!

I had a crack in my windshield. I went to Novus They were professional very nice. Everyone there was excellent. They even top off my windshield washer fluid. I am so glad that I went to Novus Ps You cannot go wrong having Novus to repair or replace your windshield

Awesome Girls in the front!! Dropped my truck off this morning to get my mirror glued back on and get inspected. Said I would be back in afternoon to pick it up. They just called and said it was ready, its before lunch!! and its only $30.
