Had windshield replaced 3/15/2025 by a technician named Noah. That evening I had to run to town and noticed immediately the windshield was improperly installed. The cowl cover and headliner had been damaged. I also had a mess of rubber all over the dash/car that the technician failed to clean up after his job. The following morning I had to go out of town early, I went to open my sunroof and it partially opened and then would not fully close. I called Safelite on my way out of town to report the damage. That evening they sent the same technician back out to my house to assess his own damage. He said the cowl cover was normal wear and tear and that the headliner just needed re tucked. However there is not enough headliner to even be tucked. I reached out to the manager however manager was out on recovery from surgery so I had to deal with another shop technician that was filling in for the manager. He stated the damage was not done by the technician and that they don't even touch the sunroof so that's not their problem. I even found a huge chunk of rubber up in the sunroof. A few days later after some rainy days, I noticed water stains on both upper corners of the headliner. The technician/fill in manager has been no help and will not take any responsibility for the technician's incompetence and poor job. I have since taken my vehicle to a mechanic who immediately stated the windshield was improperly installed. I am currently escalating this matter! Avoid this company at all cost! They do not back up their work and are completely against offering assistance to fix the problems the technician caused.

12.19.24-UPDATE: Finally, someone was able to diagnosis and fix the problem. It has been over 2 weeks and I have not had any issues. Had it not been for the issues below, I would have given a 5/5. They replaced a cracked windshield in my SUV (Toyota Rav 4, 2023). Since they replaced it a month ago, the dashboard lights up like a Christmas tree whenever he sun hits the windshield. I have taken a picture of the dashboard and showed it to them. They tried to fix it once. I'm not sure what they did, but nothing has changed. Now, they refuse to fix their mistakes and make this right. How about you replace the windshield and do it right this time?! How hard is it to replace a windshield?? You had one job and you failed. The customer service has been horrible every step along the way. They are rude and disrespectful. Stay away from this plaCE

I scheduled an appointment for them to come to my house and replace the windshield on my Flex. They replaced the windshield and charged $709. After someone told me that sounded too high, I got a quote from their own website and it was $468. I called to ask why it cost more than that and their answer was that some required molding pieces that cost $280 weren't included in their online quote (which I don't believe, becauase the online quote was clear that was a price for onsite installation with all necessary hardware). I got quotes from 3 other local shops and none were higher than $500 with the moldings included. They scammed me, but hopefully this review will let others know to go somewhere else first. Try Jack's Glass or somewhere else local.

Brought my 2016 Honda Civic in to have the windshield replaced due to rock damage. At the time I brought my car in everything worked properly. Upon leaving my car radio no longer had connection to its antenna rendering the SIRUS radio useless. The actual instal of windshield is sub par at best. The seal ,is uneven and poorly placed. See pictures for more detail. When I brought my car in to inquire they were less than helpful. In all honesty I am VERY particular about work done on my car. I work in the service industry as well and I have very high standards for myself and yes I expect people I hire to meet the same standards. Safe lite failed horribly. I tried having a window other than a windshield replaced on my car. I set up an appointment. They call me the morning of inform me they haven't gotten the glass yet and they rescheduled my appointment. Nbd things happen. That second appointment gets rescheduled 5 minutes till the end of the no heads up. I call to find out what happened and they don't have the glass still. I complain they promise a credit and reschedule again. They call me in the morning saying they still don't have the glass but they're trying. I call three days later to get an update and am informed they never ordered my glass and my service appointment was cancelled. Absolutely rediculous. And I'm still waiting on my refund.

This was our second visit to Safelite for a window replacement. The first time was for rock damage to a windshield on our months old new car. This time it was because some clowny kids decided to smash the rear passenger side window in my truck. Our customer service was great both times. On the first visit they were able to get the OEM windshield approved by insurance since the vehicle was “new”. This second visit they made sure they had the correct replacement window and the installation was completed quickly. I received text message status which helped us plan for picking up the vehicle. They did a great job.

We work third shift and had our tech come in the morning. Well we were 💤sleep when he came, but he never left. He continued to call, text and waited, until he made contact with us. Grateful is an understatement because I would have left and called it a day. The guys name was Noah. He was fast, considerate, patient, like everything you always want from the service you pay to receive. He educated me on the do’s and don’ts. It’s unusual in my experience to encounter genuine service, and understanding when you really needed it. Thanks Noah, safelite is sure lucky to have people like you🫡.

After my first appointment was set they rescheduled because they 'couldn't get the glass on the truck'. When I showed up for my rescheduled appointment they still did not have the glass. On my third visit they replaced the back glass, but when I got home I found lots of shattered glass still in my trunk. I also found two 'spare' screws that I can only imagine went to some part of my trim that is no longer attached correctly. I'm also hearing glass move around in my hatchback lid when I open and close it.

I was initially told my service could last 3 hours but it only took one. I was updated, via text, on each phase of the windshield replacement and calibration. The lobby was clean and had chairs with articulating chair backs, which I greatly appreciated. The lobby also had tables with chairs where you could sit and work or possibly a child could sit and color. Bathroom appeared to be nice and clean as well. Everyone was friendly and it couldn’t have gone better.

The GM Charlie assessed the damage right away and was very helpful when I left my vehicle for next day repair. The communication was great and excellent work from the technician Rick White.
