DO NOT USE!!!! If I could leave no stars I would. We scheduled to have a technician come to our home to install a new windshield on our son’s car. Tech didn’t complete the job and stated that she didn’t have a rivet gun because she had let another tech borrow it. She went on to tell me she left the parts that need to be reattached in the car and was going to have the shop contact me to have someone else come out to complete it today. She also told me if I don’t hear from them to call her and she’ll try again, then she left at 12:45pm. I waited until 4pm and tried to call the technician……… no answer so I started to call the safelite numbers to figure out what’s going on. Got a hold of customer care only to find out no call was ever placed to the shop and that someone would contact me shortly from the shop. While on the phone I got the below text message from the technician WTH!!!! Again I waited, it’s now 4:50pm still no call and the shop closes at 5pm. So I get a hold of customer care again. I got placed on hold and then transferred to another customer care representative who then was able to get me in contact with the shop. The lady on the phone apologized and stated she “supposed”she could get someone out to complete the install on Monday morning and that there is a note in the system from my previous call for the district manager to contact me. It is Friday so you “suppose” you can get someone out on Monday? So the car is just going to sit incomplete for 2 days. There is sealant coming through on the interior and on the paint on the outside of the car, not to mention that there are literally car parts sitting on the interior of the car and you “suppose” you could do it first thing Monday morning? What kind of backwards place is this? The lady said she might be able to have someone come out tomorrow which is Saturday morning and that she or the district manager would call me back shortly. I asked the lady to have the district manager contact me because at this point a manager should be involved. It is now 6:45pm and I haven’t heard back from anyone. Then to add more salt on the wound I looked at our receipt ……… we were quoted $321.53 well apparently it’s $584.80 🤬. Oh did I mention the little shards of glass that are all over the dash, floor boards and front seats of the car too (photos below)? This is a nightmare and it’s still not resolved so save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. Sincerely one pissed off customer!

*UPDATE* They did not install my windshield correctly. It cracked about a week after I picked it up. You can literally see exactly where they went wrong if you look at the windshield from the outside. I’m so disappointed in this place. Glass is your specialty and only job and you somehow mess it up, TWICE? I also want to add how unorganized and uninformed they are. I called to schedule the warranty repair for the second crack and was told my appointment would only be 3 hours max.. I mentioned how they said this the first time and then changed it to an entire day appointment. They reassured me that was not needed this time.. and then lo and behold I got a call saying it was needed… way too much back and forth even I after I had to ask and make sure. So annoying. 0/10 stars for me. I was forced to take my Tesla here via insurance - wish I could have taken it to a Tesla service center. I called to make my appointment and all was great, except the guy trying to force me to buy new wipers. If I need new ones, I would much rather buy from Tesla, especially after Safelite left my car in a terrible condition. I get a call a day after making the appointment saying the other guy basically didn’t know what he was talking about and they need me to drop my car off for an entire day.. that was annoying. Once my car is done I get inside to drive it home and find glass shards EVERYWHERE. You’re telling me they had this car for an ENTIRE day and didn’t vacuum it?? Ridiculous. Not only is it dangerous but I could hear the pieces falling all throughout my dash when I started driving. I can’t believe they allowed my car to be discharged like that, did no one check it?? I knew it was going to be terrible taking my car here but they actually out did the awfulness in my opinion. Thank god it was covered by insurance because I would not be paying for a job like that. Absolutely terrible. I do not recommend this place, unless you make sure they properly clean up after themselves.

We had two vehicles set to be fixed this morning. We had talked with insurance who was tied into Safelite. We were given a price and said “notes were in the system for a total of $302.46 for one replacement. Upon getting there they claimed not to have any notes and we had to fight with them over this cost, which we ended up paying almost $350 with them taking off services to even get to that cost. The other vehicle we had quoted at $425 but had “ calibration to be quoted after we get there” this DOUBLED the cost of the replacement. You can also NOT get holding an actual person by calling as their system refuses to let that happen. Getting us to today which has been a waste of our time. Very unprofessional and would highly recommend using ANY OTHER windshield replacement place besides here.

I would highly recommend you avoid Safelite. Brand new windshield didn't last two weeks before it cracked. The rep claimed something manages to hit UNDER my windshield wiper. The rest of the negative reviews are right. The new "chip" managed to spider web up the entire windshield. I don't know what type of cheap glass they are using, but my factory windshield didn't have that level of spread from a golf ball sized piece of hail. I would rather burn my $500 for warmth than come back to a Safelite. The worst part is that I'm not the only one this has happened to. Apparently my friend had the same experience but couldn't afford to replace. Stay away. Safelite has cut as many corners as possible to increase their profits, at your expense. What a disappointment and waste of money.

This Safelite location has been my windshield savior on multiple occasions. They've been reasonably priced for my non ADAS windshield (i.e. no sensor calibration required). They keep doing prompt work while keeping my vehicle clean of any debris. I'm writing this post however because I requested their mobile service during the bitter cold of February. I didn't want to risk my windshield cracking further from the cold so I had them come to me. Daniel was absolutely amazing. He calmed my nerves after having to replace multiple windshields before and took extra care of me by even looking at the little chips that weren't an issue. It's times like this that show that a company can care and exceed expectations that result in making me a customer for life.

For such a big name in the industry, my experience with this location was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I took my brand new 2024 car in to replace a cracked windshield, and upon pick-up I noticed black scuffs and debris all along my dashboard and the beams on either side of the windshield. Again, this was a brand new car that now has black scuff marks on the fabric near the glass that won't come off. These guys rush and don't care about the interior of your car or take any accountability - STAY AWAY! Especially if you are wanting your car back in the same condition you brought it to them in. (Pictures don't show a complete representation of real-life damage)

Waited a week and a half to get an appointment, took off work early to make it, then they told me they couldn't do the job because they don't carry the clips they need. They didn't ask if I wanted them to order them or anything, they told me I could go pick them up if I wanted my windshield replaced. So, whatever, already frustrated from them not being able to do the job. They left my windows open and didn't put my seat back where it was. I would never come back to this location again, even knowing the clip thing ahead of time. They don't care about your vehicle.

The front desk lady was beautiful amazing professional and very informative about the services she explained everything to me before the service. Jeremy was my tech, he was very professional and friendly and kept me posted every step of the installation of my windshield. The other techs were very helpful and informative, they explained to me all about my sunroof and a leak that I have. I give them all a 10 and more if I could they made my experience wonderful. I recommend them to everyone and would never go anywhere else.ServicesAuto windshield replacement

We had a small crack in the bottom of our windshield already, an while on vacation we went through a car wash that made it spider up into our view. My husband scheduled a time online for me to take it in and have it replaced. They people were super nice and helpful. The lady at the counter told me I could wait there or there was Panera about a 10 minute walk if I wanted to get something to eat. I chose to grab food and wait. They called me about an hour later and told me my car was ready. I would definitely give them 10 ⭐️ if I could.

What should have been a 2hr install has turned into a 7day install, due to the fact of the windshield sitting way too low, so low that I can barely read the VIN on the front of the dash and the upper seal isn’t sitting right either. The caulk adhesive has to sit and harden before they can remove and install a new windshield. I am beside myself that Safelite would send someone out that obviously has no business performing Windshield installations. This is completely unacceptable! DO NOT USE, YOU WILL REGRET!!!!!!
