Had service scheduled for Saturday 12 to 5. Received a confirmation call Saturday morning. Changed our plans for the weekend based on this. Was called at noon and told tech wouldn't make it today. Staff really didnt seem concerned about the fact they wasted half our weekend and offered nothing to make it right. Just a "we will cancel your appointment" this is a terrible customer service practice. With all the competition out there, pick some place else. Absolutely horrible. You can see by the canned responses to bad service reviews that they are not concerned about their customers. They will not treat you as if your time and business is important, try some place else that deserves your patronage folks. I feel bad for those people that had damage as a result of such an ungrateful and indifferent company, I can only imagine it was a nightmare trying to get the issue resolved.

Some tree limbs had busted my window and i needed quick service. The service I received at this location was phenomenal! I was treated with courtesy and respect as well as waited on earlier than my scheduled appointment time. My only scare was the tech experienced difficulty removing my spoiler. It made me nervous that something would get damaged. The manager assisted the tech and my repair was completed. I've received follow up since my repair which was not expected. I'm a customer service supervisor and admit I have high expectations. So far I've not experienced issues with my repair. I'd choose this location again if I had a future need.

I was really impressed with the outcome. I took a rock from a truck on I-218 a few hours before I showed up there. My expectations were pretty low, and the outcome was beyond what I could have imagined. It was half magic. The 3 inch diameter spider leg crack all but disappeared. The guys were nice, the process was fast, and insurance covered the whole thing without a deductible (so check there first!). The quick interior vacuuming and inside/outside washing of all windows serves as testimony to a well-informed training program. At the end, I learned my tech was still a trainee. Thumbs up, high five.

They replaced the glass well in the sense that it was pretty quick and the new window seems to be installed correctly. 3 stars because they did not do a good job cleaning up glass from the old window. The inside car vacuum was bad enough that I essentially redid it entirely. Bigger problem, they cleaned the glass behind the door paneling so poorly while replacing the window that my car wouldn't register the door as closing. After taking it to another mechanic who just took the paneling off and cleaned it again, I paid someone else more money and at least got the problem solved....

I scheduled a repair appointment and dropped my car off 30 minutes early. I got the call it was completed 20 minutes later, 10 minutes ahead of my scheduled appointment time! The technician, Clare, did a fantastic job on the repair and exceeded my expectations. I can barely see any resemblance of the quarter sized starburst that existed before, and if I didn't tell you it was there, you wouldn't be able to see it. You can tell they take pride in a job well done.

I got an appointment via the 800# on 6/16. When I arrived at the store on 6/17, the appointment was not in the system. The manager (Kevin, I believe) was very accommodating. He called the center and made sure the appointment details were sent to him. He was exceptionally polite and professional. He explained everything thoroughly and completed the work very quickly. I would highly recommend Safelite to anyone who needs windshield work done in the Iowa City area.

I had a 9:30 appointment this morning to repair a chip that occurred at 7:00pm the previous evening. I arrived at about 9:15 and I think the 15 minute wait for the scheduled repair was longer than the time the repair actually took. By about 9:45 I was on my way, after reviewing the repair. These are professional people. Start from the beginning: I got easy online quot, then on their website found amazing coupon. after that I scheduled appointment with flexible pick up. within less than 90 min, I received a call that my car is ready and the windshield got replaced. Went to pick up my car, it was ready waiting for me, and they already vacuumed it. Thanks at all.

Before the appointment day safelite checked in to verify the appointment. Maurice, technician, called in the morning to triple check and when he had a cancelation he called to see if he could come earlier. Fast, efficient, well done windshield replacement in an hour (by himself). Cleaned up the car and our driveway when he was done. 100% recommend.
