Don't have safelite fix your windshield unless you want it cracked! Had 2 small rock chips on my 2012 rav4 and the tech ended up cracking my windshield before he even put the resin on the chip. I asked him what kind of training they get and he says( not enough) so I ask if they learn on people's cars and he says( they learn by trial and error on customers cars) so because he didn't know what he was doing I have to pay out of pocket to have a different company change my windshield (at a lower price than safelite told me even).. I tried to contact safelite about this and they tell me nothing they can do as there was a chance it would break. Well my sister just got a rock chip that was worse than mine fixed by that other company and her windshield is perfect now! So not to impressed with the customer service and I'm telling everyone I know not to give them money since no effort was made to try and make this situation rite. I would give a negative review if possibleNegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value

Never ever in my entire life have I been more mad, every single customer support number fails to work, “no agents available “ but only half of a single ring? Makes zero sense. This company is based ENTIRELY off communication, this isint just for fort dodge, THE ENTIRE satellite auto glass company has failed if this is their new norm. Not being able to talk to a real person really really set me off and now I’m NOT willing to work with satellite unless they choose to contact me. Absolutely ridiculous. Any questions you have you better ask after you already paid for your service, that’s just pitiful.

I scheduled my appointment 3 days in advance for 8-12 on a Saturday. The tech called at 1030 to say it would be close to 12 or 1230 ‘because he had trouble with one of his installs’. At 1240 I called to see what was going on. Again with the difficulty. I told him I picked 8-12 for a reason. He showed up at 145. Was finished at 3pm or so. My husband and I were sitting right there and he left with out so much as a hello or a thank you. The install itself was good. Just rudeness on the technicians part.

I have had to use Safelite 3 times. Every time was a great experience! This last time was exceptional! Spencer had informed me yesterday he would be running late and asked if I could reschedule. He was so polite. He came today and was pleasant as ever!! He did a fantastic job!!! Not sure what he is making an hour but it may not be enough!!!!

Safelite in fort dodge is NOT open on Saturday as their website says, and their customer service says. However, the guys that came out to put in my windshield were professional and courteous. Be sure that you give them your vin number to ensure correct glass is brought! Great service tho, i would recommend it!

I had a very unpleasant experience. The office gave me multiple quotes from $3-500 and didn’t seem sure what it would cost. Then I had problems with the website when I needed to pay. The tech didn’t clean up my vehicle like the website says they’re supposed to either.

The Technician was friendly, & professional. He kept me informed of the progress, & a couple small issues that were beyond his control. He resolved those issues to my satisfaction, & then some. I definitely recommend taking your glass needs to the Fort Dodge Safelite.

Called the local Safelite store this morning, they said they would be here in 30 minutes. They never showed, never called, and they do not answer their business telephones. Unreliable. I can't use them for my fleet support if they won't run their business properly.
