Went there to fix a crack in my windshield from a rock hitting it. Owner made a mistake and put through a $73 charge as $730 and drained my bank account throwing it in the negative. Their “processor” put through a $0.00 credit that night to my account instead of putting my money back. I now have charges bouncing, ruining my standing with companies I use, and I will get overdraft fees. It’s day three now my account is overdrawn and anything else I have coming out of my checking account on Monday is going to bounce. I’m on a fixed income I can’t take a $657 hit like that right before Christmas. I can’t buy gifts, I can’t buy groceries, or gas! If their moron processor could put through a zero credit that night, he could’ve had my money in my bank the next day. I drove there yesterday to give them a chance to make this right, and they refused. Be warned!! the job they did wasn’t even that great either.

March 28, 2014 - Three weeks ago during our severe Chicago hail and snow storm, my 2000 Buick Regal aftermarket sunroof was shattered. I searched for a reputable business to replace it and ran across Merrillville Auto Glass and Restyling via an Internet search. Although I live in Chicago, it was worth the drive to Merrillville. I dropped my car off on Wednesday morning and picked it up today (Friday) morning. Sue Ann and her husband are the BEST. Truly a professional husband and wife team. Had an unusual issue with the windshield on our Honda Odyssey that was caused by an improper windshield replacement before we bought the van. We brought it in and they diagnosed the issue promptly and gave us a fair estimate to get the work done. Dropped off the car with short notice since I had trouble finding someone to give me a ride there, and they were accommodating and got it was done within the estimated time. They definitely know what they're doing here if they were able to diagnose what the last installer did wrong and fix it the right way. I can trust that they'll do things the right way and deliver a quality service.

They did a wonderful job repairing the chip in my windshield. I've had a couple of sloppy glass repairs in the past, so I was pleasantly supprized to see how much the marring had been diminished. I will not be taking my vehicles anywhere else for glass ever again. Their attention for detail has me telling anyone who needs glass OR UPHOLSTERY repairs for their vehicle to take it to them. They prioritize quality over quantity/speed, providing EXCEPTIONAL value, worth every penny, nickel, dime, and dollar.

I had a windshield installed. Took 3 hrs. I had lunch at the restaurant on the next property. Was all fine. My issue is that the rubber weatherstripping came loose and was flapping around. I had to pull off the hiway and tape it up. They used hardly any sealant. I wanted to make sure it was done right, so I just got a tube of RTV sealant and put it in myself. Is now in excellent shape.

Repaired moonroof. Repair complete in one day, price was very reasonable and they knew exactly what it was when I called. Dropping off vehicle they already had the repairs in. This car had an original vinyl top but the trim bracket hole had been filled in when it was painted. They drilled new holes on top of removing all the necessary trim to install a new top. Top looks clean as a whistle. I actually brought them the trim kit which alot of shops won't even allow. Top notch work and service!

The service and price was fair, but I don't see any reason why there should be a $10.00 service charge for using my debit card. Not Credit card, Debit card! Please explain that.
