There’s a good reason Low Price Auto Glass Hammond has such high Google ratings: Nida and Eddie are awesome in every way. I totally recommend Low Price Auto Glass (2015 Summer ST; Hammond, IN.) As for me - i tend to be allergic to car repair places due to my past experiences with shoddy work, untrustable mechanics and high prices. So i was shocked to find an extremely reputable auto repair business at such a reasonable price. When i bought my used SUV back in 2017 it already had five small stars in the windshield so i knew i’d have to replace the windshield - someday. But i waited until one of the “stars” had grown to a four-inch-long crack and it became clear that the windshield would soon become dangerously unstable. So first i checked out online reviews for the local glass-repair shops. Then i filled-out an online request for a quote from Low Price’s site and I was totally dreading what the response would be. But by the following morning i had received an excellent email response (from Nida) so i called to ask further questions. I was surprised to hear the low cost and how fast they could replace it. (And Nida was awesome at explaining things on the phone.) So i arranged to bring in my vehicle “first-thing next morning.” (Their hours in May 2020 had been reduced to 9am to 3pm due to the Covid-19 pandemic.) Nida and Eddie were ready for me and processed me promptly. And they said the vehicle would be ready in 1hr45min so i decided to walk the neighborhood since it was a gorgeous day. (Covid-19 precautions prohibited any customers waiting inside the store so the waiting room was not available.) Well Nida telephoned me just an hour later to say the vehicle was already repaired and waiting for me. (Nida admitted later that she had hurried up and ordered the replacement windshield the day before when i called to say i’d be in the next morning. Gotta love that extra effort to serve the customer and get me out of the shop all that much faster ! In past experiences with other repair shops, they never do such things since customers can be so “unreliable.”) I cannot promise you that you will also be first in line since you well could arrive with five customers ahead of you. But if your experience is even half as good as my experience was, you’re going to be super happy with Nida and Eddie’s service. (PS: i waited a full 14 days after I got my new windshield just to be certain i still felt the same degree of satisfaction with their excellent service. And clearly i am still super happy.) (I have nothing to disclose: Other than having a windshield repaired at this store, i have no other connection to this business - i am not a relative nor had i even met either Nida or Eddie prior to the day my old 2007 SUV got its shiny new windshield.)PositivePunctuality, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I called this company because my usual spot went up on their price. So after reading the Google reviews, I called them up. Not only were they’re more economical than my previous spot, but they also had a windshield replacement for my Chevy ready. I got there at 245pm and by 330pm, I was back on the road. This place has lost there mind, they get their glasses from Pick-n-Pull and they are charging you $150 more to install it. I just ask for a quote for a driver small window on 2007 Buick Lucerne, that cost $28.00 from Pick-n-Pull and I was told from Low Price Auto Glass will charge $175 for a driver side window lol, Before the Pandemic, I paid $150.00 for a 2014 Ford Forus, windshield that had special beams in it. I know prices had gone up, but these people are ridiculous.

I called to get the quote of rear window replacement. I compared it with safelites and their price here is fair and reasonable. I went there late morning and got my car done in a few hours (consider today is freezing and it’s done quick!) They did a very good job and they are very friendly! I called this shop earlier today and they told me to arrive before 4. Not only did I arrive at 3 but I was standing outside in the freezing cold for 40 minutes. There’s no notice or message stating they were leaving early due to any inconveniences. I wouldn’t recommend getting anything from this shop! This is the WORST experience by far! This shop has lost business with my dealership as well!

Place is a scam!!!!!!! Do not go here!!!! They use really Cheap Quality Glass!!!!! Unless your and idiot. My glass cracked while I was driving! Just driving!!!!!! Told me I must They refused to offer me the warranty they gave me. Lied and said he didn't offer a warranty. They made it completely clear multiple times there's a year warrantee. Do not even call this place!!

Had to replace front windshield on two vehicles . Fast professional service with a smile. Same day service. Best price by far compared to 4 other places I called. This place sucks. They said to come in anytime on a sunny day and they can fix. Today, sunny so I went in, very rude guy behind counter says no we can not fix today REALLY when I talked to him day before he even said no appointment needed. I will never go back there and I will tell everyone I know not to go there..

Was given a price over the phone was told it would only take an hour to install drove 30 minutes to get to the location only to be told it's a 3-hour process mind you I'm the only customer here it just seemed like the gentleman didn't want to do the work bad for business and a waste of my time

Nida and Eddie did a great job from start to finish! Excellent customer service! Excellent price! I would recommend this place to anyone. I compared their price to Safelite which is why I went in but I glad I did. It took 30-45 minutes to work on my back window for a 2015 Hyundai Sonata.
