UPDATE #2: I waited a couple of weeks to take my car back to Mark Coles. They did as Chris promised and got the tint darkness to the level I originally requested. Although that was just yesterday, at this point Im very happy with it. The weather is supposed to be pretty cloudy for several days so no sitting it in the sun to speed along the drying. So hopefully it will dry fine with no problems or bubbles, etc. There was the same (maybe not quite as bad) residue on the outside of the car. But I know that will come right off. However, Im not looking forward to cleaning the residue off of the interior. The back dash has white residue on top of the dark "fabric" that lines it. But setting aside the issue of having to scrub down the inside, so far, one day out, Im happy with the results! Thanks to Chris for fixing this. UPDATE UPDATE: After leaving my initial review, I was able to speak with Chris. (He's very very nice). I explained about the tint not being as dark as I requested and also my concerns about the residue over my car. He said to let the current tint dry completely, about a week, and they would add another layer to get it where I want it. He also explained that the residue is from the mixture they use to apply the tint, which I realized, and that it is not harmful to the paint. They would rather leave it than having the unfortunate event of scratching someones paint cleaning it off. Especially black vehicles which mine is. All it takes is a good rain or run through the car wash. So, as of now, I am very happy with the willingness to rectify this situation! DO NOT USE THIS TINT SHOP! This has been a very disappointing experience. They charged a $10.50 Convenience Fee which I was never told about and it doesnt reflect as much on the yellow ticket I received. But it sure is on the credit ticket. I understand that the windows will need to be cleaned in a couple of days per the instructions but that doesnt answer why my Entire car is smeared and spotted with whatever they use to attach the film. I have pictures and video. And also the inside front dash is a coated, smeared mess as well. I truly feel sorry for anyone that would hire them for home windows because if the house is left in the shape my car was, it would be a bad experience. And they have the unmitigated gall to charge a $10.50 Convenience Fee, for what?...the damaged mess they left my car in. Also, when asked the shade of tint I wanted, I was TOLD what shade would go on the windshield...why did she ask? And as far as the side windows and rear I specifically told her that I did not want to be able to see in from the outside. So she told me which one would do that. I questioned her again about it because the sample she said would provide that did not appear to give that amount of privacy. But she insisted so I thought she knew more than myself so I reluctantly said ok. Right...you most certainly can see in the windows. I Do Not recommend this place. It will certainly be a WASTE OF YOUR MONEY as you will not get what you want and have to work to clean up their mess on top of it.ServicesVehicle window tinting

Tinted the windows on my wife’s SUV recently. It took 3 times for them to get it done correctly (original appointment plus 2 take backs). First time taking it back they had to retint the windshield , back windshield and the two front doors due to multiple creases and badly cut lines. Second time taking it back they had to retint the front windshield and the 2 front doors due to what looked like old adhesive left behind from the old tint. There was a bunch of textured spots right in the middle of the windows. Whoever tinted it the first 2 times was sloppy, didn’t even look like they attempted to protect the interior or exterior of the car. The solution was all over the dash and door panels, hood and exterior doors. I’ve been in and around the detailing world for 20 years and know the solution isn’t harmful but it still gives a bad impression to the customer. Only takes a couple seconds to throw a towel over the door panels/dash to attempt to make it look like you tried. 3rd time it was much cleaner. They have a warranty so the fixes were at no charge and pricing was best in town. Receptionist was easy to work with and never questioned any complaints. They were easy to work with and made it right in the long run. Would have been 5 ⭐️ review if it was done correctly the first time. Pictures with yellow circles are a few blemishes from the initial appointment.

We recently had Mark tint our sunroom windows. When he came, he gave us an estimate for tinting which was agreed upon, and explained it would make approximately 23 degrees difference in the temperature in the room. We had decided on the tint to avoid the noise from the air conditioner. The tinting was applied and we received an invoice $500.00 over the agreed amount with Mark. After much conversation, we paid the agreed upon amount. The tinting was applied on June 14, 2016. Granted, we have had several extremely hot days, but differences in the room temperature have not been affected and are still unable to used the room. Again, we were told 23 degrees difference. It took several phone calls to get a response from Mark. When he came out this morning, what he told us today was totally different that when he was trying to sell us on it. He left after a pretty heated discussion saying he took care of his customers but had no solution for us. In other words, too bad you are not happy with your results!

I had a very light tint on my car when I purchased it and wanted it darker. I took my car to Mark Coles to have the tint stripped and get darker tint. When I received my car back there were lots of air bubbles under the tint on EVERY window. I gave it about 3 weeks before complaining and they got me in for a redo. When I went to pick my car up there were some of the same air bubbles in the tint. I spoke with one of the guys and pointed out the bubbles. He confirmed that not all the windows were redone but they would do it real quick. He also said that it was normal to have small bubbles under the tint from dust particles from the tint. I have been to other facilities to have my windows tinted and have never received my car back with as much dust in it as what Mark Coles left in my car. This is why I have so many bubbles under the tint. My advice is to pay the extra money and go somewhere else. It will cause less of a headache in the long run. I will not be coming back to Mark Coles.

BIGGEST mistake I've ever made. This place was recommended by a friend, and as a car person, I felt comfortable taking my vehicle there. How I wish I could turn back time; not only did they do a notably TERRIBLE job with my window tinting (visible to the naked eye from a few feet away), but they melted the plastic side panels on my BRAND NEW vehicle. They refused to reimburse us the for the poor job, saying that "they know which guy in the shop did it" and "he doesn't do it like this every time." I'm sorry, but that "one guy" needs to be fired, especially if this is happening to repeat customers. What remained was a brand new damaged vehicle and a VERY unhappy customer. Mark Cole himself has made excuse after excuse on the issue. This is the first bad review I've ever posted about a company. But this one was just too great to let go. Please look elsewhere for window tinting.

Upon receiving my car back after my window tint, neither of my key fobs would unlock or lock my car. I took it to my mechanic thinking it was just a coincidence that the batteries died at the same time and had the batteries replaced; however, that didn't fix the issue. I then was at the mercy of the dealership where I dropped a few bills and it was determined that my antenna was not working and that it was probably something to do with my window tinting. So, with hesitation thinking there is no way I can prove this, I contacted Cole's and was in communication with Chris Cole. Chris was nothing but professional, courteous and took full responsibility without hesitation and went above and beyond to correct my problem . I couldn't be happier with my service I received all the way around!

Got my tint done here and had to go back again to get it stripped and redone because I had bubbles still in my windows. I was told to wait 12-14 days before calling if I still had bubbles, since it had been cloudy so less sun-light was getting to my windows and evaporating them. The tint comes with a life-time warranty which I love. They redid the tint for me and it looks great but again... more bubbles. I got this done about three weeks ago and it has been incredibly sunny about 3/4's of this length of time. I'm not taking it back. Good product but I don't feel like they value their customers. Also, they cut the fabric of my interior next to the windshield and didn't let me know or reimburse me. I will be getting it stripped and redone elsewhere.

Do not take your vehicle here. First time I had bubbles and hair under all of the windows and was left with smears from the solution all over. Brought it back in to have all my windows fixed and there are still two windows with hairs and bubbles on it PLUS now I have four scratches on my rear window of my brand new truck. Not worth the money or the time. Take your vehicle elsewhere.

I've taken 5 vehicles to this establishment to get the windows tinted and I've been impressed with the results, good quality work, and neither trip took more than 45 minutes, staff was super friendly every time I showed up. If you are interested in having some tint work done on your vehicle then schedule an appointment with them and they have good prices too!

They did a really good job. At first since it was rainy n moist it wasn't good but when we called them they said give it a few more days and when the sun comes out it will dry out the moisture bubbles and as soon as the sun came out they was rite the bubbles dried up and looks good. I'd give them all my business and tell my friend and family to go to them.
