Chip and Monica sorry for the late review! Guys I went to ziebart located off of veterans road. They took my windshield off without checking if they had the actual glass. I was asked if I had sun glasses followed by an lol. It was a day. I was 1 hour out from home was getting ready for vacay and leaving to canada the next day! To have my windshield taken and not being able to be replaced? So I took my chance with safelite and DROVE my shieldless jeep to this amazing staff in Peru IL. Chip immediately took action and apologized for something they had nothing to do with, he went above and beyond for me! Him, Monica, and I believe the manager made it work and were able to squeeze me in & get my windshield replaced. Lunch on me guys seriously. Can’t express how I went from feeling helpless to having this team, this outstanding crew help me figure it out! I can’t thank you all enough! 🙏🏽 Thank you for turning a nightmare of a day really seeing things from a customers perspective and taking action! As I own a Jeep, I replace my windshield at least once a year. These guys do a quality job at a comparable price! They were able to get me in fast too! The only complaint I have is that with drop off, they give you an 8 hour window in which your vehicle may be done. I miss the good old days of appointments where you had a reasonable amount of time when your vehicle could be done so it didn’t throw your whole day off. On the plus side, when I said I needed my jeep done by 2pm, they were able to accommodate that, hence the 5 stars. I do like the text alerts they give you as your vehicle is being done. Scott showed up the day before, told us we needed a new windshield, then the next day when a new tech Kenneth came to put it in, repaired it in 5 minutes and you can't even see a mark. Scott is apparently only good for selling you a brand new windshield and leaving the work for someone else. Then afterward the front office tried telling us we have to deal with the insurance ourselves to switch the claim back to a repair when they were the ones at the very best making the mistake and at the worst committing insurance fraud. Might have been a bad day based on the other reviews? Either way wasn't an experience I would recommend to a friend...

We had our car vandalized at the state park down the road and were desperately needing it fixed just six hours into our road trip vacation. The front desk service was phenomenal and they helped us wrap our window temporarily while they found the nearest safelite that had the window we needed which was hard to come by anywhere. They also gave us restaurant and hotel suggestions to keep our unsecured car safely overnight. We were so thankful they made a hard day go so much better.

I just moved across the country. Safelite in Phoenix messed up royally on my windshield replacement, but Safelite Peru took excellent care of me. They fixed my windshield wipers, ordered replacements for the parts the Phoenix location broke, and fixed the calibration on my hybrid. I got a crack in my windshield. I decided to just get a new windshield chose to get done at Safelite. Did the appointment online went well for me. Day of appointment got there they immediately got my vehicle in the shop. Everyone one was very professional and they got the windshield done very quickly I waited the the coffee was very good. I hope I never have to get a new windshield but if I do I will go back again definitely

This place has been non responsive and not professional I have had 2 windshields put in my 2020 Dodge journey and they still are yet to put the right one in and they are still yet to call me about this which I was supposed to get a call yesterday So 0 stars thanks for nothing nothing now I hope someone will correct thisNegativeResponsiveness

The folks at Satelite in Peru, IL were efficient, courteous, and did extremely good work! I couldn't tell that they'd been in my truck except for the fact that I had a beautiful new (no dings / no more cracks windshield), and my front carpets had been vacuumed! Jacob was great! He called at the beginning of the day to let me know where I was in the line up, then texted when on his way. He clearly knew what he was doing and was quick and efficient replacing the whole windshield. He even cleaned up inside and out before he finished! Very impressed
