I can only rate the customer service aspect as I havent been able to actually get my windshield cracks repaired. The website, Google maps, and their own door state they are open Sunday 9 to 1. They are closed. Their phone number (the local number on their door) only goes to corporate, and the phone system will only allow an automated menu and then hangs up. Even with the 24 hour support line, it has the robot direct you to the website and then hangs up. Even if you choose representative the whole way it directs you to use the website and hangs up (the same site that says this location is open now). I understand with covid hours may change but at least some of their hours should be updated in one of these places, or a sign on the door, or actual support to find out when to return. Very disappointed in their service and customer support, I'm concerned what service you would receive if you actually had an issue with the repair and needed help.

They couldn’t repair windshield a chip to satisfaction: the chip after looks near identical to before. Nice guys at the shop, they say the chip won’t spread anymore, but I will be taking the car to another glass repair shop to correct and try to minimize the spiderwebbing from the nickel sized chip. Safelite no longer has the ability to call an agent or location to discuss repair, just a recorded message, so I won’t be getting any discount/price reduction on the $138 repair. Although when I called the safelite phone number they give you a $25 off promo code.. too bad I didn’t call the number before, only called after to try see if I could get a discount on the not so great repair. First time using safelite. Will use again if I ever need a full windshield replacement but will try somewhere else for chip repair.

I scheduled a mobile appointment to get my rear windshield replaced between 8am-12pm, and the technician arrived at 11:30 for an estimated 1.5-hour job. The technician ended up not being able to put the new windshield on by himself and Safelite did not have any other technicians to send out to help, so I had to follow the technician, with my windshield wrapped in plastic, for a 40-minute drive down to the shop. I got home from the shop around 4pm and saw that there was a bunch of glass left in my trunk. The next business day, I called customer service and was told I'd be contacted by the manager of the shop. That was over a week ago and I have not been contacted. The technician himself was communicative, but this Safelite location is terribly run.

Took my vehicle in for a patch/repair job and the technician ended up creating a larger crack and now my whole windshield needs to be replaced. In fairness, one of the techs did say that 1 in 100 repairs ends up with it becoming worse off (I didn’t sign a waiver or anything which was odd). I didn’t get an apology about what happened or anything, definitely taking my business elsewhere. They did however squeeze me in an hour before they closed which was very kind of them, but it was pretty sketchy they said that before they began the procedure.

I recently had my windshield repaired after some serious storm damage. My auto insurance recommended Safelite to me and I’m glad they did. Right away, they scheduled a mobile appointment for me within two days time. And when I had to reschedule due to the weather, they were super sweet and accommodating…As a woman car repairs can seem daunting. And at times, you expect to be taken advantage of. However, Safelite did not make me feel this way at all! I highly recommend them to anyone in need of service. (Before and after photos below)

had my front windshield replaced on a Acura mdx. dropped the car off, they said it would take 3 hours to complete and recalibrate the camera. The waiting room has 2 chairs and a long desk that can accommodate 3 people. margarita checked me in and told me of local restaurants and coffee shops that were close by. the repair was done in under 3 hours, I didn't need to leave it overnight but if you do, the facility has a huge fenced in parking lot. would definitely return to this facility in the future.

I got above-and-beyond service when getting a rear passenger window repaired. The work was done well and took much less time that I was expecting. But what stood out to me is that not only did they clean out the broken glass, they got rid of the trash that had been in my car for ages- a chore I just hadn't gotten to. They cleaned the empty cups and to go boxes from the *front*, too! It was so lovely to step into a clean car with a new window. Great service, very impressed!PositiveQuality, Professionalism

Trevor was our tech and did a great job. He was on time, told us what to expect, and even cleaned up everything. He really went above and beyond, because I didn't think about it but we had our city sticker and our IL tollway sticker on the windshield - he removed them for us and put them on the new windshield! THANK YOU - Trevor saved us from a big headache of having to replace them because we forgot to remove them ahead of time, but he stepped up and went the extra mile.

Great experience! Noel did a fantastic job and was very knowledgeable and professional. I was impressed with all the email reminders and details leading up to my appt too. Even though I had a large window (12-5p), they reached out with a smaller 1 hr window the day before and on the day of, my tech let me know when he was en route. Now I have a peace of mind for my windshield and will absolutely call these guys again if I need anything repaired. Thank you!!

Great quick service! I dropped my car off the night before and they were done by noon when my original appointment time was at 1pm. Due to the impact of my window being shattered there was glass on every service and crevice of the car. The techs took the time to clean every piece and even left my belongings nicely folded. A nice touch after dealing with crappy incident of a car break in.
