This is like the 3rd time I've come here for windshield replacement and tinting. 1: 2004 Dodge Dakota 2: 2018 Nissan Altima 3: 2021 Ford Explorer XLT. All three times, each vehicle had a windshield replacement and had their windows tinted. I feel it's the best price I was able to find. It's as simple as calling to set up an appointment, and they'll have it ready in 2 hours more or less. No hassle and fair pricing with quality work. I will continue to come here with more vehicles.

Got my windshield replaced after a large sized rock hit it on the freeway the night before. He (the owner) got me in quickly the next day and at a rate that was competitive based on the little research I had done. His guys replaced it fairly quickly, which was nice but there were a few hiccups to say the least. First and foremost, right before I left I mentioned to one of the workers that some of my protectors on each side of my windshield seemed to be coming loose and asked if there was any kind of adhesive or tar that would help keep those in place, with few words said the man ripped literally the entire left side of the windshield protector off and started walking away claiming he was going to “fix it,” but when I asked what he had done afterward he only said he added a piece of tape… and it was only sticky in the place he had ripped it off from… so it only made the problem worse (photos of what it looks like now are attached below). Aside from this I also did notice a small bit of what seemed to be some black adhesive leaking from one side of the windshield a couple days later, I didn’t know what it was at first but when I went to straighten it out and kind of rub it in I found that it was sticky and left my fingers looking like I had been working underneath the hoods of cars all day. There was also an annoying ticking sound coming from the windshield a few days after the job. When it finally got so bad I had to call there was a woman on the phone who I had not spoken to previously who did not make me feel much better as she began cursing back at me telling me how “I’m not perfect,” and how people make mistakes and I can just bring it back in. As if my life should revolve around their schedule, they are located at least 20 minutes away from me, I don’t have time for people to mess up a simple windshield replacement, especially not so called “professionals.” Luckily the ticking noise stopped pretty much right after the phone call. I think the best thing to say to conclude this review is that I felt a little harsh going 2 stars on this one, but now that I’m here writing the review and recounting what actually occurred that day it’s more than fair to leave a 2 star review.

Went in for quote to replace passenger side mirror. Adrian was very helpful and answered all my questions. My husband needs his sunroof looked at and I will tell him about this place. Needed to update review, went in for passenger side window replacement was quoted $425. Due to part having to be ordered I had to put down $100 deposit. Dropped off my vehicle after work the next day and they had it done in couple hours. Took vehicle home and didn't notice until couple days later but part of it is broken (totally my fault for not checking before I left). I take it back that Monday and of course he claims it was fine, all in one piece and it must have gotten hit again. I informed him no that is not true. So my windshield has a crack from polar votex of 2019 so he offers me a deal on replacing it. If you didn't do anything wrong why offer deal on windshield? If you made a mistake then own up to it and make it right, but don't lie to my face. Gave 3 stars because the repair was done but they have no integrity. 1st photo is before replacement, next 2 are after with piece that wasn't broken before and they have no idea what happened.

Wow! These guys were stellar. I called about a quote for my passenger rear quarter glass to be replaced as my car was broken into a few weeks prior. They said it would be an estimated $90 and it was. At any other shop, this definitely would have taken at least a day or two. I walked in without an appointment at about 1:15pm, drove my car with a replaced and completely sealed window at about 1:35pm. I don't have much experience with auto glass repairs, but as someone with only this amount of knowledge, this went way better than expected. I would recommend this shop to anyone who is having issues with the auto glass or needs a replacement. I also failed to mention that my windows are tinted all around the vehicle, the replacement quarter glass was the exact match of my current tints.

I received a quote of $500 to replace my windshield from Safelight in South Holland but I was spoken to rudely by one of their agents so I canceled the appointment and began searching for someplace close to work where I didn't have to lose a day at work unnecessarily. I read Pilsen New Auto Glass reviews and decided to call these guys. The price I was quoted was far below the Safelight quote of $500. The gentleman that answered the phone at New Pilsen quoted me a price and I was so dumbfounded that I kept repeating what he said...Today?....$345?...90 min? They did a phenomenal job.... the staff was pleasant and their waiting room wasn't bad at all. Nice lady in the cashiers booth and now it's been 3 weeks since they worked on my vehicle and I am very satisfied .

I called two places near my house and they wanted $360 to replace it. I attempted to go through my insurance and they said I have a $500 deductible, and they can set me up an appointment with safe-life and they'd do it for $460🙄. I called this place and they did it for $165 while also taking me right when I got there and only taking 15 minutes to complete the job. Thank goodness there's still mom and pop places like this one. Corporate businesses aren't always the best option, thats for sure. I'll always come here from now on for all of my window repair/tinting needs.ServicesAuto windshield replacement

Just left Pilsen Auto Glass an hour or so ago, was concerned about getting the right OEM windshield by safelite. After we confirmed the correct windshield for my F-150 the tech assured me it would be installed in 2 hours, exactly 2 hours later the secretary was handing me the paperwork... Impressive, not only the price, but the level of professionalism and attention to detail, even my "built in Dearborn MI" decal was put back in place along with my city sticker and tollway sensor... Thanks Pilsen you have a life long customer... the Ruby Red Monster thanks you too!ServicesAuto windshield replacement

Good honest service. Had a leak in my Landcruiser’s windshield that left puddles in the floor mats. They removed the rust, repainted the framework, and replaced the windshield for a very reasonable price. It took two days and now it’s bone dry. Paint job wasn’t super spectacular (because of some popping) but it’s decent and I’m still happy with the job considering that every other shop was either sketchy or too busy to even look at my car. You get a 1-year warranty too. I’d definitely go back and would recommend them to family and friends.ServicesAuto windshield repair

My windows were broken the night before, and I wasn’t sure what to do. I called for a quote and the lady who answered my call really took the time to explain the pricing and different options available and they offered both new and old glass at a great price. They even tinted my windows to match the rest of my windows. The service was professional, reasonably priced, and quick. They also helped clean up the broken glass, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend this place. After a rough day, the overall experience was fantastic.

My car was broken into for an attempted auto theft. I brought it to Pilsen Auto Glass and they gave me a new window in less than two hours for a very reasonable price. Not only this but when I got my car I saw they also put the ripped off steering wheel column cover back on, vacuumed all the glass out of my car and my mats, and neatly folded the towels that were laying on the floor of my back seat. I feel like they really went above and beyond here and I couldn’t be more satisfied. Thank you guys.ServicesAuto rear window replacement
