Auto Glass Now

Do not use this place.I set an appointment by phone on a Thursday call.I was told they were fully booked until Tuesday 8 am.I agreed and asked if I could bring the car in Monday before 6 pm closing so they had it for the morning and as it takes almost an hour and 40 minutes in rush hour to get there from Streeterville, the agent said absolutely .So fast forward to Monday.I drive my car, windsheild is completely crushed so very hard to see.I pull into their lot at 3:57 pm the display hours are 8 am til 6 pm its on the door and online.I get out and its locked up. Dark 1 car in the bays and no one is answering the phone.I call the website help and get an agent and explain the situation.She tells me no problem they should have a drop box near the door just drop keys in and lock car.I told her I see a box but there is a bunch of no parking by any vehicle no drop or pickup ever.All will be towed.She says oh no worry Im messaging the manager explaining this. So I get off the phone and go to put keys in the box.Well its a painted uhaul key return so key fobs can not fit.My uber ride home for $26 shows up so I hid key in bumper jump in and start home.In the ride I called again got an agent telling them what I was told to do but had to hide the key so let me tell you where.He replies oh that location does not allow drop offs or have a key box.I explain I was told complete opposite by first agent.He says they will tow you..Now he starts trying to message the store manager for next 30 minutes with no reply.Trys the owner I believe Naomi no replys.Has regional manager is seeing all this and says they should call me shortly.Im like they are not responding to you the regional manager or corporate so Im supposed to believe theyvwill call me before I find out I was towed? They said yes.Now Im just getting back home in that uber.I tell agent forget it.I feel lied to and seems this company is just incompetent.How do you close 3 hours early knowing someone made an end of day appointment a week prior?I order another uber to go back get my car before it gets towed.After an hour ride get there car is there so I get it go online booked with safelite for next day come to me install for $35 cheaper and they showed up..So this company never did the job and cost me $60 in expenses and 5 hours of driving.I still never got that call from the manager or the owner.Just avoid this place.

The lady was nice and courteous. Gave me a estimate was surprised how good of a price it was. Was told they don't have the glass but can have it tomorrow due to its a broken side window can't leave like that I decided not to get it . She told me to hold on got the glass by 4pm got the appointment going just waited I specifically told her to get the right glass. When instillation came here's the reason why I gave them 3 stairs they had the wrong tint on the glass . It was 4 I needed a window everyone else was about to close so I had no choice but to get it. Now I'm driving with 3 windows that look the same and the installed one looks like the outcast in a movie. Price was ok ,service was ok instillation was good service they got the wrong window 👎

It’s weird. It’s a chain, but it didn’t feel that way. People actually smiled, they asked me how I was doing. The place was clean (I watched what I could only imagine was one of the supervisors sweep the floor himself). They took me in on time, apologized that they were a few minutes late finishing (I didn’t notice), and I was given a nice gift on the way out that a member of senior staff makes herself at home. It’s very small, but they make use of the space well and clearly understand what it’s like to wait in a room for 3 hours. Why the heck do people go to Safelite when places like this exist? Commercials?

Car issues stress me out. In this case, Naomi at Auto Glass Now put me at ease from the moment she picked up the phone to schedule my windshield replacement. It was so nice to do business with Gerber Glass, especially one of their rep "Cali". She was super helpful n personable, we talked as if we were friends. Their contract employee, Luis, who came out n replaced my windshield was knowledgeable, patient, n young where he was fast but executed a quality job. Gerber Glass n their employees feel like a family business who appreciate every single customer, in contrast to a corporate business where you may be lost in the shuffle. Thank you, Gerber Glass!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! My cars back window was smashed in today and needed replacing. Noemi was amazing over the phone and dispatched the repair man to come in the next 2 hours, and he arrived even earlier than that. Service was quick and took about an hour. I dont remember his name, but he was very professional and did a great job at vacuuming the broken glass and installing the new one. Additionally the cost was wayyyyy more affordable than had I just paid my deductible. Very pleasant experience

Called this company after calling a few others. Response was quick, they verified they had the glass I needed for the repair and then we set an appointment. They sent reminders and a confirmation text the morning of, just in case I needed to reschedule or cancel. They took care of of my back window and called me when the encountered some issues before proceeding. If I ever need a window replaced I would return to them and will definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Window replacement was fast but at what cost? I can tell the guy was in a rush to finish and still left broken glass within my car door, back seats, and front passenger seat. A lot of broken glass was still under the mats. When I roll my window all the way down and then roll it back up it squeaks so bad it sounds like the glass that wasn’t vacuumed out scratches my new window. Whenever I close the door I can hear all the broken glass that was still left within the door.

OMG !! One of the best experiences I’ve ever had !! The young man that greeted me was also the one that changed out my wind shield !! Young and efficient with a great disposition ! After picking up my car which was done in an hour when he said it would be , I had about a five minute conversation with him about him and his future ! He was trully uplifting and inspiring , if there were more young people like him in the world , we’d definatly have a more hopeful future !!

Received wonderful service from AGN this week. When I spoke to Mike to schedule, he was very helpful and kind. Luis replaced my windshield this morning and went above and beyond to help me with my broken rearview mirror - saving me money so I didn't have to make a second stop at my dealership. The woman working (I didn't catch her name) was kind and wonderful! Hopefully I don't need any more glass repair or replacements but if I do, I'll head back to AGN.
