Amayas Auto Glass - Angel Amaya

I woke up to a shattered back windshield, unsure of who to call, or where to go. I was at work and unable to make phone calls, so my savior, a.k.a. "mom", made them for me. She found Amayas, called n spoke to Angel n gave him as many details as she could muster-which was hardly any, as she was stressing for me! 😁🤌 I ended up calling Angel myself. He was right to the point, precise, more than reasonable on the price, and was able to get me in the same day. Upon arrival, a young lady immediately greeted me with a smile. She quickly went for my car and advised they would get right to work. I asked if they'd be able to tint the new window to match the rest of them. She thought they wouldn't be able to in such short notice, but went and asked angel, and to my surprise came back and said they could do it! I was more than happy, and more than willing to go back anyway if they couldn't do it same day. I'm absolutely going back to have the rest of the windows tinted very soon. Service very kind and prompt. Quality of glass and fitment less so. Gave VIN and was told they had glass for me. Got me in next day. When I got back to car it was immediately obvious there were major fitment issues. Moulding near top corners was stretched, and other moulding was not consistently in contact with the glass. Side edges were largely exposed. Bottom of glass was not flush at all with the windshield cowl, rather sitting on top of it by and large. Despite installing new wiper inserts, the shape of the glass caused immediate chattering issues with rain that occurred a couple days after. With the issues seen, I took the car immediately to Honda where they agreed the glass didn't appear to be the proper fit, though they also said it's a common issue with after market glass. Again, the service was great. No problem with the people. Just not satisfied with the glass received.

This was just a terrible service. I brought my car in with a small crack in the windshield, which they completely failed to fix. They pulled the car into the bay for about 20 minutes, then rolled it out and said it was “done.” He told me, “Well, I warned you it might not work.” Sorry, buddy, but if it didn’t work, you don’t get to take the money. You charged me $70 without hesitation. The crack was minor—back in Russia, they fix much worse damage. There they drill out the ends of the crack and fill it properly with professional materials. Here, it looked like he just used a cheap DIY kit from an auto parts store. I could’ve done the same thing myself for $15. This was simply unacceptable. If your repair doesn’t work, you should own up to it. If it fails, you don’t charge. If it turns out great—fair enough. But what he did was a joke. Absolutely terrible service.

Had a crack in my windshield that was fixed by this company 2 weeks ago and discovered that the top rubber stripping was coming off. This prevents the rain from getting inside. Called the owner and was informed that he couldn’t fix it for a week and that if I wanted it fixed sooner that I would have drive back to the shop which is out of my way. I asked if he could drive out to my home or work to fix the problem that he caused and he said that he would have to charge me for the drive out. I created a nice spider pattern on my Jeep Wrangler windshield. I have had it replaced before, but I was never satisfied with the job the previous company did, there was always noticeable wind noise, so I found Amayas through a bit of Googling. Angel got me in the next day in their shop in Aurora. It took all of 50 minutes and I was on my way. The best part is there is no wind noise, but I know if there was they would fix it as they warranty the labor. Repeat customer here. Angel tinted my wifes car. For some reason, the tint on the windshield was a little hazy. I let Angel know, and without hesitation, he asked me to bring the car back so he could re-do the windshield. It's now perfect, and my wife couldn't be happier. I called them looking for a quote on a windshield replacement (windshield crack over six inches). I was able to get a quote, confirm the windshield I needed was available, and on the schedule for the next available date which was within a day (crazy considering it was New Year’s weekend) in ONE call. On arrival they were so sweet and ready to hit the ground running. I was out before I knew it! This is day 3 with the new windshield and everything is great! I will definitely have them saved for future services and will make sure anyone looking for a windshield replacement knows about them.

Amaya Auto Glass is fantastic. Do NOT waste your time with the chain stores in the area. Amaya was super easy to work with and they got me in and out quickly. Here's my situation: - Ice hit my windshield while driving out of state over the weekend. - Called them while out of town and they got me on the books for a Tuesday appointment. - I should up for my scheduled time and they said it could take up to an hour, but I was in and out in just over 30 minutes. Quality work and came in at the low end of what you'd pay other places. I will always call them first when I need work done.
