Nu-Vu Auto Glass

I’m super grateful for the staff at Nu-Vu in Twin Falls and Idaho Falls! On our way to Idaho, a big rock kicked up by a truck smashed our car’s windshield. The hole was pretty big, but we still had several days of travel ahead. That night, we searched online for places in Twin Falls that could fix it and found Nu-Vu. After checking their Google reviews, we decided to swing by the next morning to ask about it. Honestly, we weren’t too hopeful since we knew they might not have the right glass in stock or a technician available. They told us the earliest the glass could arrive was that afternoon, and they’d only be able to replace it the next morning. Because of our itinerary, we figured we’d just tough it out and keep going with the damaged windshield. But then, on our way, Nu-Vu messaged us saying they could get the glass in Idaho Falls and replace it right away. Since our route was taking us through there, we zoomed over to their Idaho Falls location. When we arrived, the technician got to work immediately and even recommended some great local spots for lunch. The repair was pretty quick—took about four hours to remove the old glass, install the new one, and calibrate the camera (Tesla windshield replacements are such a hassle). Huge thanks to the Nu-Vu team for their awesome help with this unexpected issue. They made it so we could continue our trip worry-free. The couple who run the shop are two of the nicest people I have ever met. I went to A-1 after having other places tell me I had to replace my windshield instead of repairing the damage. Not only did A-1 repair my windshield but they did it so quick! I was a walk in and I was impressed at how quick they we were able to help. The husband did the repair on my windshield and he did a great job. While the work was being done, I waited up front with my two kids and talked to his wife. She was patient with my kids and made sure they had some crayons and coloring books. She kept apologizing for how long it was taking, even though, in my opinion, there was no need because I felt everything was happening in a timely manner. The service was all around great, fast, and friendly! I will definitely be going here for all my future auto glass needs.

I tried to find somebody that could come to the hospital where my wife works in healthcare. Insurance was cumbersome so I decided paying for the repair was easier. This company not only repaired the windshield correctly, but their service level was amazing. They actually cared about me and the fact that we were doing business with them. What a nice service, nice people. These people not only take pride on their work, but they actually care about you. The service took 15 minutes, but we talked for one hour about life. I had a small crack that can be fixed, instead of replacing the entire glass, but it needed attention quickly before the crack got bigger. So i called Saflite and wanted someone to quickly look at it. Well I got the headquarter and for 30 minutes had to file a claim, and the earliest appointment I got was 7 days later. I called A1 and got appointment on the same day, and got it fixed for $25.

A-1 Auto Glass replaced the windshield in my Ford Escape and Ford F350. They were very fast and courteous. Scott was replacing the window in the F350 that had been replaced in the past and found a bunch of rust at the top of the window under the molding. He sanded the area down and painted the area before putting the window back in. That is great service doing a job right and not just slapping it together to get paid. I highly recommend coming here! When I got a large crack in my windshield, they went above and beyond replacing it. I have a dash cam on my rear view mirror, and I could never for the life of me get the wires to tuck into the panels. They noticed all the cords were dangling, so Scott tucked them in for me! I was able to chat with Lisa while waiting, and she was so pleasant to talk with! I will be recommending A-1 Auto Glass to everyone I know, and this will be the only place I go to get glass work done in the future!

Scott and Lisa are absolutely wonderful. I had to drive 1.5 hours to get to Idaho Falls for an appointment. They were not open the day after Thanksgiving. However, they opened there business just for me. That is unheard-of in business these days. Not for them, they went out of their way to help me!!! Best people ever to deal with!!! Always great service and quality work! The owner’s of the business handle the work themselves and truly care. My family has been taking all our auto glass needs here for years and A-1 has always gone above and beyond for us whether it was a chip, drilling a crack to keep it from spreading or replacing a windshield. If you need anything glass related this is the place you need to go.

Highly recommend! My partner and I were traveling through town when we got blasted by a rock on the highway. We visited the Subaru dealership in town for an assessment who sent us on over to A-1. I often look at ratings of companies that I might not know. A-1 Auto Glass had a rating of 5 with not a single blemish to their record. I must agree wholeheartedly! They were able to help me with a small chip in my windshield. They were quick and professional and the cost was very reasonable. I would recommend them and certainly return there in the future.
