Who else could turn such an awful incident into a miracle of an accomplishment no one else could do for as much as 12 days? The Garcias here, no relation to me whatsoever, that's who! I woke up this morning at a hotel 30 minutes away to go to work, traveling for business, to my two windows smashed on my 2023 Ford F-150 Tremor, and many personal belongings either stolen or damaged. My insurance company sent me to the "big name" auto glass people who told me it would be 12 days until the had the glass I needed in stock! Nope, not acceptable. I wasted an hour on the phone with the other guys as their system crashed three times and had to redo the search before I gave up on their ability to help. I tried the local Ford dealership to help get glass for my truck with just 20K miles in 9 months of ownership after special ordering it. No luck there but they gave me an AMAZING recommendation to check out family owned Universal Auto Glass - Caven was immediately pinpoint focused on doing everything it took to get the glass for me that the dealership quoted nearly $200 more each window and couldn't even get! I was back on the road to Charlotte in exactly 53 minutes from the time I called and around the corner from them to when Caven called saying my truck was done. I was speechless. Beyond impressed with their hard work and my two young kids will be thankful the truck they love riding in has functional windows just as they saw it last before I left for this trip. If you ever find yourself dealing with an incident like mine, call the Garcias and they will handle it better than anyone else in record time! God bless Universal Auto Glass!

Ridiculous! If you want to be disrespected, left in the dark as a customer, experience attitudes from receptionist and mechanics this is the Auto Glass company for you,…they say you get what you pay for the experience i paid for was drama filled, stressful, definitely not expected when just going to get auto care!! Customer rights it’s not a factor here my mother and I experienced this first hand today!! This company is unprofessional, employees talk to people like there less than when just asking for clarification due to the lack of control by owner also they lie about things such as lobby not being open for carpet cleaning never had a cleaning even had other customers that were able to sit in the lobby! I felt discriminated against never experienced such high level of disrespect just for asking to physical view my car before paying for the work done! Owner allows employees to react off impulse and emotion instead of professionalism even while he is present! One employee bald Caucasian man told my mother and I while the other employee held my keys and bank card to not take any other payment from me he’s taking the sunroof liners off since we have an issue with not being able to see the work before paying! Escalating the situation even with the owner there seeing the wrong !

I have a 1979 C20 and they originally replaced the windshield for a cost that was absolutely below their competition. At the time, the person who came out, a Mr. Ryan, told me they'd order a fitting for the windshield since mine didn't have it, so I paid only for the windshield that time. It was cheap and they came out the second time, I only paying the thirty odd bucks for the fitting. Few days later (the day before this review), I noticed a crack forming at the corner of my windshield. I called up and talked to their manager (he's the one who picked up, nice guy!) and asked them about it and at no charge to me they came out the very next morning to check on it. It turns out the windshield was defective and they replaced it at absolutely no cost to me. Ryan and his teammate were professional and extremely polite, even showing me how to take off the windshield wiper bars for my year model safely and effectively (something I didn't even realize!). I fully expect to continue doing business with them as I continue my restoration on my vehicle and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone! VERY professional, VERY polite, VERY prompt.

These guys were fast & professional except that their repair people never clipped my windshield down after it was repaired. So I was hearing wind through my windshield after I left. Their location is about a 1 hour drive from where I live so it was extremely inconvenient to have to drive 2 hours roundtrip just to have them finish the job correctly that should have been done the first time. Two gentlemen fixed my windshield and both missed the fact that they never clipped my windshield down correctly. I normally would have given a 1 star review for this inconvenience but I hope this was a one off and doesn't happen to other people. Other than that they were professional but I would have hoped for more attention to detail. Just make sure they clip your windshield down.

This was such a good experience other than the fact that I had a cracked windshield. I called to get a quote for my Toyota Avalon. The girl that answered the phone was knowledgable, and friendly and helped me figure out which of the four possible windshields it could be. She ended up calling Toyota to be sure. I was able to schedule them for the following day. The two man team was on time and very professional. They were also very friendly, and I could tell that they were very experienced. Fantastic experience with the Universal crew. We walked in after a poor experience with Safelite and the office staff were so nice and worked quickly to order our windshield (OEM) and Quote the labor. Price was beyond reasonable and less than we had been quoted by safelite and the dealership. When we realized upon pickup a camera mounted at the top of the windshield was angled differently, we turned around and Universal immediately verified the problem and made the correction. Start to finish the staff and the work were the highest quality. We will definitely be back for any more auto glass needs!

I took my 2006 ford ranger in to get a replacement rear sliding window where they ordered from a junk yard. Where the junkyard didn't refurbish or see if it leaked. Where i went back to tell them it leaked. The installer proceeded to tell me it didn't leak. When I told him where it leaked he just argued with me to tell me it was something else with my truck. I knew he was wrong. So instead of listening to me he just wanted to argued. Just the arrogance of the installer and not listening to the customer.

This is a great place to go for all of your auto glass and stereo needs the owner Ralph is so knowledgeable and just an all around wonderful person, I thought it would take an hour to my surprise I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Wow I absolutely love great customer service his entire family and staff is off the charts with personality.
