I scheduled an appointment and they called me the next day to reschedule which I was understanding about but still a tad frustrated because I didn't want the chip to get worse. Well unfortunately it did. Monday rolls around and I get another call expecting them to say they were on the way but instead they call to reschedule yet again. Not caring about the chip expanding to a full blown crack way larger than 6 inches and not caring about the inconvenience to me. The technician who called was actually a very nice and understanding person but this experience was not a good one for me. Truly disappointed with how things went. And of course I paid for the service that never happened, hopefully I get refunded sooner rather than later.

I was overcharged from the amount that was agreed to in my appointment (6/6/25) which was scheduled online the previous day. Also, the rearview mirror was loose and cracked in two different places. Both of these issues I didn't realize had happened until returning home. The day after my service (6/7/25) the location agreed to refund me $48.15 and a service tech came out to check the mirror. He is scheduled to return with a new mirror and install it on either 6/9 or 6/10. My appointment was at 2:00 and I arrived 20 minutes early. Around 3:30 when it was "completed" the service bay was in party mode with loud music blaring non-stop. This experience reminded me of an adage that my father always stressed and that I normally follow: Never take your car to a shop on either a Monday or Friday. He was right. It feels real shady online when the amount that first appears to be due, then changes by $40.00 for a recycling fee that seems dubious. With the amount of used glass that Safelite generates, one would think that a recycling company would gladly pay Safelite a nominal amount to have it. Thus negating a fee needing to be charged to the customer. Another shady practice is not providing a physical copy of the receipt but saying it has been emailed to you. Is this an attempt to hope that you don't notice being overcharged? Watch these people like a Hawk. UPDATE I can't ever give this company more than a 1 but I do want to thank Patrick for his professionalism in coming to my home and replacing the cheapo mirror the shop put on. The cheapo one must of come from Amazon (crap) or a third rate auto parts store. Patrick got an original OEM mirror, installed it in a timely manner and now it works great. Thank you Sir for making a totally bad experience Better!

I had a broken windshield and insurance paid to have it replaced here. After picking up the my vehicle I went to grab my sunglasses out of the sunglasses holder in the roof liner. The sunglasses holder was broken and dropped my sunglasses scratching them. When I looked at it I could see a missing spring and things not connected. The holder opens and closes but flops around and does not sit correctly anymore. In addition it falls open. I returned to the store and talked with the manager, I showed him the problem. He told me in a very demeaning and condescending tone that his guys don’t touch the area. They only touch the sensors right next to the holder. I asked him to fix it since they broke it and he said no they don’t touch it, we won’t fix it. And threw an attitude over the issue rather than trying to help. In addition, I heard a whistle the first time I got on the highway. I saw that the plastic trim that prevents water from getting under the windshield was not seated and not installed properly. Unfortunately, I had to catch a flight and decided to fix it myself rather than let my car catch water for a week while traveling. I told him about it, he told me if you took out a claim on the warranty we would have fixed it. But since you didn’t, we don’t have to do anything and won’t do anything for you. Overall this was a terrible experience and I am very disappointed in the service I was given. If you want parts of your vehicle to not work after they replace your windshield I recommend you take it here.

I initially scheduled my appointment over the Internet and it was extremely simple. This is my son‘s first car and it had a small crack going across the top of the windshield that started to grow and go down the center of the windshield. He was going to take his drivers test in just a couple of days so I Wanted to get it Fixed for him to use the car to take his test. Safelite started texting communication with me immediately and even sent me a link for a video to watch on what to expect at my appointment. My technician Ivan, was very professional and communicated his ETA very clearly to me And arrived at the time he quoted. He ran into a bit of a hiccup with the seal around my windshield, which was not his fault it was the age of my vehicle and completely unexpected. He let me know right away and gave me choices on how to proceed. He was able to finish the job with everything he had on the truck and it was beautiful. I appreciated his professionalism, honesty and communication.

Service was great but the technician that worked on my promaster van did not put my wiper back on in the correct position. Also they did not reconnect my washer fluid hose to the spray nozzle. Causing the washer fluid to spray my engine. Luckily I have some basic knowledge and fixed both issues. The one I can’t fix is the sound of my engine being loud coming from the base of my windshield. Not sure why I can hear my engine now. But I had to do a warranty claim and now have to go back. To get this figured out. Safelite says there is a chance it’s my fault. And I will have to pay for the repair. That’s not cool as I didn’t have the problem before. And this van has less than 20k miles. My appointment is this Saturday 1/25/25. Let’s hope they don’t charge me as this will be my 3rd time driving to there shop. The 1st time they ordered the wrong windshield. That had nothing to do with the shop but had to do with the 1-800 number. Let’s hope Saturday is the last time I have to do this.

I had an outstanding experience with Safelite AutoGlass, thanks to Ivan. He arrived earlier than expected, which was a pleasant surprise, and from the moment he introduced himself, it was clear I was in good hands. Ivan was courteous, professional, and highly knowledgeable. He took the time to clearly explain the entire process, including any potential risks, which I really appreciated. His attention to detail and expertise were evident throughout the service. Ivan did an excellent job with the repair and went above and beyond to ensure everything was done right. I can’t even see the crack in the windshield anymore!! He truly deserves recognition for his diligence and exceptional customer service. I’m very satisfied with the overall experience and highly recommend both Ivan and Safelite AutoGlass!

Everything was great UNTIL 5 days after a new windshield was installed! Our technician was polite and seemed to know what he was doing. He informed us to wait 24 hours before washing that area to give it a good chance to seal. 5 days later ( this afternoon) we went to a car wash and disaster hit! water came pouring in from the top of the windshield all the way across! called customer service... either wait 8 more days for someone to fix the problem (UNACCEPTABLE) or drive 2 hours each way with a windshield that may pop out on the way (with projected heavy rain for the next few days)... also UNACCEPTABLE! In this condition it doesn't feel safe to drive anywhere! Have tried to have Safelight Corporate contact the Cummings location numerous times to resolve this issue with negative results!

Horrible customer service! Tech came to replaced my windshield - he cracked it when installing it and told me several times that I need to pay for it to make a replacement order faster that if I did not pay now he didn't know when it would get rescheduled. I stated that no I will not pay for a broken windshield. Next day they wanted to reschedule I said no that I will find someone else that it was a little shady to expect a customer to pay for installing a broken windshield she went on to threaten with sending it to collections and hung up on me. So of course when I rudely call back she doesn't want to speak with me.

The first time I visited Safelite, it was at the shop in Buford, and I was not impressed. They ignored all my requests. When my windshield cracked, I decided to shop around because I didn't want to deal with Safelite again. I found that their prices were lower than everyone else's, so I decided to try a different shop and went to the one in Cumming. I'm glad I did! From the moment I walked into the shop, I was treated with respect. The technician kept me informed at every step of the process and allowed me to inspect the installation before billing me. I would recommend the Safelite in Cumming to all my friends.

Extremely easy to set up an appointment online, abundant times available and the ability to get a hassle free quote online is a game changer for me. Great communication with reminders and updates. Pricing is affordable and comes with a warranty. The team at the location is very nice, very honest and made the experience so easy. I was able to work remotely on my laptop while I waited, wifi speed was great.the technician who worked on my car was so sweet. I hope I never have to replace my windshield again but If I do, there is no question on who I am going back to.
