Chip's Auto Glass

The other day, our 2022 Ford F-150 XL accidentally had the rear window glass broken and shattered when a relative of our was unloading some appliances and the cable accidentally hit that area! We knew that our local Ford dealer would have likely charged an arm and a leg for such a repair, given how much it costed last time to replace a faulty worn front wheel bearing. We use this pick up truck for so much so it was important that we found people who are serious about what they do and would do a great job getting the truck back in good shape. I shopped around and got an initial quote from a potential shop that could do it, but I had a good feeling that I could get the work done and be absolutely sure it would be professional. I came across Chips Glass Repair, filled out the quote and right away talked to Nolan who was super helpful in determining what parts he would need for the repair and guiding me through figuring out if our truck had the rear defrosting option which it didn’t. It was fine I knew that the truck was in safe hands given the attention to detail. I got a quote there after and the next day, dropped off the truck and within ours the work was finished. Payment was super simple through a link they send and it couldn’t have been easier to stop by, come in and get the keys. The results were even better than I expected, with the glass being even better than how it was stock from Ford! You’d never know anything had happened. Because of how well I was treated as a customer and the price matching, I’d highly recommend Chips if you’re looking to have glass repair done on your vehicle! The results speak for themselves.

The on-site service was great. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable. Something didn’t work with the factory OEM windshield, resulting in a water leak several weeks later. Another friendly and knowledgeable tech came to my house to check it out - it wasn’t obvious that the leak came from the windshield, but the tech still called into HQ and recommended that they take off the windshield to check it. He didn’t want to do it at the house, because he didn’t have an extra windshield available, in case it broke during removal. HQ ordered the windshield and called me 2 days later to schedule the follow-up appointment. They figured out what was wrong with the OEM windshield (factory-installed clips that cut into the sealant), fixed it and re-installed it. Explained everything, charged nothing. Even though something went wrong with the initial install, the after-service was incredible, always friendly and striving to make it right. 5/5 - I wish I could get this level of care with all service providers. Don't fall for it, they are less expensive for GOOD reason. They messed my windshield up trying to seal it 4 or 5 times, they finally tell me it's a door seal. Even though my vehicle never leaked water BEFORE they fixed the windshield. They layered so much adhesive onto the thing my moulding cannot be installed correctly, it flaps in the wind. They left trash in my van. So for $300 I have a leaky windshield, and a ruined headliner, with a moulding that is falling out of the car and bangs on my roof when I drive around. They won't fix it, they say I will have to shell out another $300 for a windshield. Call Safelite, get a quality job on your install. DONT CALL CHIP'S

Omg! Where do I begin? If I could give more stars, I would. The company was outstanding from beginning to end. The moment the incident occurred, I anxiously went on the web in search of same day services. And this company provided just that. Mr. Wayne and Nina, aka Na, went above & beyond. They provided excellent communication and made me laugh after having an extremely hard morning. It was truly a pleasure meeting them in my time of need. My windshield looks as if it nothing occurred. This was an amazing experience. They fit me in last minute. I had my schedule planned down to the second to address more problems my car was having at the dealership. They got me out ahead of time. When I got into my car they fixed something that was wrong with my seat. This saved me time at the dealership. It made my day go so much smoother. I am very grateful for this kind gesture. I was immediately greeted when I arrived for my appointment and work began on my car as soon as I handed over the keys. The job was completed a little sooner than promised which was impressive!!! Chip’s Auto Glass in Chamblee, GA, did a fantastic job replacing my windshield!! I called on Tuesday, got a quote which was quite a bit less than 2 other quotes, and they replaced my windshield the next day!! Said it would take about 1.5 hours - only took an hour!! Friendly and helpful staff!! Wayne and Chris provided me with an excellent customer experience!! Make sure you give them an opportunity to take care of you and your car!

I was so lucky when my car repair shop recommended Chip’s Auto Glass. Excellent experience making an appointment and really appreciate how easy they made it for me to file an insurance claim. Chip’s quoted a price that was half what my car dealer service center wanted. The service tech arrived exactly on time and installed the new windshield in under 2 hours. He did a great job. Very happy to have an excellent warranty as well.

I purchased a windshield from chips within the last year and it was an Awesome experience !!! They have very quick and efficient service, and the staff was very courteous and professional.
