I originally had an appointment to replace my windshield on July 1st at 9:00 A.M. and I was told to call on June 30th to confirm that the O.E.M. glass was in the shop. My insurance company told me to do this since they had experienced people who went to their appointment and the glass was not in. I could never get directly through to the Safelite shop itself and always had to call the 800 number who would then contact the shop and they would get back to me. The glass was not in and I made them call me the morning of my appointment since I was 45 minutes away and did not want to waste the round trip if the glass was not in. They called me at about 7:30 A.M. that my glass was on a truck that broke down. What a surprise! I booked the next appointment for July 2nd at 11:00 A.M. and first confirmed that the correct windshield glass was there before I went. I checked in well before my appointment and was told that it would take 2-2.5 hours to install and recalibrate which was fine with me since I would wait. Soon after a technician came out and told me that he had 2 cars ahead of me before I would be in the shop. So, I was looking at 4-5 hours of waiting before my car was in the shop. This was a failure of Safelite to schedule properly, and clearly did not take into account any inconvenience the customer had to endure. I rescheduled for the first 7 A.M. which was July 8th. At that visit, since I was the first one in the door, everything went smoothly. With the above experience, if The Hartford Insurance Company had not recommended them, since they work with Safelite, I never would have used them, since they do not value the customer's time, and the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. I hope that I will never have to deal with them again

I had a duck flying into my windshield at 60 miles an hour on a Saturday morning at 7 AM. I went through the GEICO app to do a glass clean and it immediately brought me over to Safelite auto glass where I was able to get an appointment for Monday morning For a new windshield… Yes, It was that easy to get an appointment to replace my windshield on a Saturday for two days later. After I made the appointment, I received an email and a text message telling me what to expect and confirming my appointment. Monday morning I got a call from the technician named Jeffrey telling me he was about 15 minutes away. Shortly there after he arrived and we had a brief discussion and then he went about removing the smashed windshield and replacing it with a new one. The windshield was actually factory BMW Plinkerton glass Which was not only surprising, but it was a relief because of my car has a heads up display and lane departure system, and all the rest of that stuff. About an hour and a half after his arrival, my windshield was installed. Everything was put back together, and my car was calibrated so that everything worked perfectly. I don’t know how anybody could ever complain about Safelite. In the last 24 months I have had to have two windshield replaced and a back glass. The two windshields were both for vehicle vehicles that had heads up displays with lane departure systems and all the rest of that and there was no issue at all. I will always use a Safelite auto glass for my needs.

Booked appointment 2wks in advance, only to get a call the day before saying Tesla service is only offered on certain days. Frustrating since I had already taken PTO and rearranged my schedule. Outside a staff member was talking with a customer while vaping — very unprofessional. Front desk experience wasn’t much better. Young woman at the desk was on her phone and barely acknowledged us, and the gentleman with the beard was equally unfriendly. Overall impression was that customers were more of a burden than a priority. Additionally, after receiving a new windshield, my dash was left covered in debris. At a minimum, it should have been wiped down once the work was complete. Even basic tire shops use protective mats to prevent this. The one positive from the visit was Paul (if I remember correctly), who greeted us warmly, introduced himself, and took our key. He was professional, courteous, and made the experience better. He’s the only reason I gave this location 2 stars instead of 1. The manager’s presence/leadership at this location need attention. If the manager was on site that day, their engagement and oversight should be evaluated. This location would benefit greatly from improved professionalism, customer service, and attention to detail.

I did everything online — scheduled the appointment, Safelite handled it through my insurance, the technician texted me when she was on the way, and I paid the bill right from my phone. My windshield was replaced while I was at work, and honestly, it was one of the easiest experiences I’ve ever had with my car. Big thanks to Trixie! She noticed I was hesitant about replacing the windshield wipers, but she really knew her stuff and advised I’d regret not getting them. She was right. I’m very happy with the new wipers, the new windshield, and the service overall. I’ll definitely recommend this business and use them again if needed.

Brought my car in for front glass replacement as recommended by my insurance at 9 am . 5 pm ,car still has not been calibrated because tech says they have a hard time with Mercedes. They finally told me I need to go to dealer because they can’t finish the job. Had the nerve to ask me to sign a paper waiving all rights to sue them because safety features might not be functioning. I tore the paper up and left and reported them to my insurance company. The biggest offense is that they never let me know. They waited until I showed up fully expecting to pick up my car 8 hours later !

My insurance company, Progressive, sent me to Safelight when I made a claim for glass damage. Setting up an appointment was quite easy and the location is just a few miles from my house. I had to wait about half an hour after my appointment before the technician appeared. The waiting room was spartan but had good seats and not so good coffee. When the technician appeared he was friendly and competent: he explained what he could and could not do. And he got the windshield fixed with only a minor residual blemish. I only had time for one cup of coffee before it was done.

Thank You Ryan for the fast and excellent service, I gladly appreciate you. Also a good welcoming and friendly person. I just have 1 negative issue, there were two agent seating at the front desk looking at their phone or computer or something, they didn’t even knowledge my presence, not a good afternoon someone will be right with you or nothing. Ryan came in and welcomed me and explained the process. He even try to get their attention 3 times about my arrival and not needing wipers poor guy ignored also. Hopefully that will change after this survey.
